I wear an N95 at work so my skin sometimes gets worse but I know over time these peels and having a good regimen with skin reality brand will clear it all up! I am leaving another review because my issue with LaserAway is still not resolved…read more The treatment I received that day was a treatment I had already agreed to and went in for. During that visit, they were trying to sell me a different type of laser treatment/package. I did not receive or use that new treatment, yet I am still being charged for services that I am disputing. I have repeatedly asked LaserAway to provide a clear, itemized breakdown showing exactly what treatment they claim I received, the date it was performed, and why I am being charged for it. Instead of resolving the issue, I keep getting sent back and forth. If LaserAway claims I received the new treatment they are charging me for, then I want documentation showing exactly what service was performed and when. I should not have to pay for a treatment I did not receive. I have been trying to resolve this directly, but I am extremely disappointed with the lack of resolution and communication. I will continue disputing these charges and pursuing the appropriate consumer complaint options until I receive clear documentation and this matter is properly addressed.

I've had a couple times where I've had to wait past my appointment time (max 10-15 mins), but I get that things sometimes run behind - I have the same issue at my PCP, dentist, and injection derm. It's just the nature of the healthcare/service industry. Little delays stack up when people have questions or issues. I have seen NP Angel for every appointment except one. Angel is a true professional and she makes me feel completely at ease during my appointments. She's always good about talking though any changes I've made to my skincare routine to make sure it won't interact/interfere with the treatment. As with everything in life, you need to find who/what works for you through trying them out. I tried another NP at SEV when Angel wasn't available, and while she wasn't bad at all, there are just little things that Angel does that appeal to me and improve my overall experience (I have high anxiety about procedures).

There are things I learned by switching that made such a difference for me. After switching I pay $20 less PER appt and get way better results. After 11 months I was not getting any results, not even improvements so I went somewhere else. With Cindy, getting appointments was a challenge and time between appointments effects how efficient it is and getting an appoint kinda felt like a game and untill I found the hack (read on). Turns out there are multiple types of electrolysis. I found another type to be more effective on me and less painful. If you have low sodium definitely look into different methods. This factor and time between appointments was the issue for me. Also, If you're trying to address a specific area, good luck with that, she flat out won't do less than she feels you should. Now a lot of people want every single hair including peach fuzz gone, you will be happy. I get mostly white soft peach fuzz with a handfull of dark hairs in one small area around a mole. I told her not to do certain areas and even tried to activly stop her as she did blond hairs. but she did it against my constant reqests. I went so far as to circle in eyeliner the only area I wanted done but she stilllll did what she wanted. I ended up with dark hairs growing back where it was originally only blond peach fuzz and more areas needed treatment. She swore that was impossible but there was never visable hair there before, now there is; only one thing changed. Everytime I asked for an appointment at a specific day/time she's was all booked up for that whole week. No matter how early I asked or how many weeks I selected. I don't know how to explain it but it seemed disingenuous. But here is a little trick. Ask for an appt half hour after you want it. When she says no, ask her to recommend someone else since that's when you are available. Her schedule miraculously opens for half an hour before you innitally requested. Like immediately, not cause someone cancels, just, now it's available. I did this about 7 times, worked every time but the games seemed unnecessary. I was waiting 6-8 weeks between appts with Cindy. I figured out that time between appts was a big part of the issue for me. Once I started going to Paula every 3-4 weeks as recommended it has been working way better. After switching I have gotten better and more immediate results. So don't just go off reviews try different types and see what works best for your schedule and body chemistry and schedule.

She's gentle when she's doing it so I was surprised how little pain there was. She seems like she's really there to make you feel like it's all about you and she makes the process go as smoothly as it can. I'm so excited to continue seeing her after how great my results from just the first two sessions were. I'm especially looking forward to the great (in person) conversation I get with her every session, it's a huge plus after being cooped up inside so long. I can't recommend her enough! Front desk mentioned a deposit was needed and I was happy to pay that, but then she said that I might as well pay the full amount while I'm there. So I paid the full amount for the service. Something came up the next day and it wouldn't have been worth injecting a zit days later. So I called to cancel and am then told they couldn't refund me. I can still come in and get the service done any time, but since it was for a one time acne lesion, I won't really be needing it. Plus I work at a nearby med spa and was only in the area. It would have been nice if someone told me upfront that if I cancelled, my money would be kept. Especially because I understand that being the case for the deposit, but I was encouraged to pay the full amount and all of it was kept. Of course I couldn't dispute the charge because it's in their fine print... A little upfront honesty and clarity would have gone a long way though.
