Concerns Regarding Enrollment Experience Good evening, My name is Guadalupe Lopez, and I am the mother of three wonderful boys. My husband and I recently scheduled an interview and tour with Selena, the representative assisting us with the enrollment process. Unfortunately, our experience throughout this process was very uncomfortable and concerning. Selena appeared to be extremely disorganized. On one occasion, she scheduled an orientation for us, but when we arrived, the front desk informed us that nothing had been scheduled for that day. When we contacted Selena for clarification, she denied ever making the appointment. This was frustrating and confusing -- we would not have gone through the effort of getting our boys ready and driving over without having been told to do so. Additionally, Sylina misplaced our enrollment paperwork not once, but twice. She initially asked us to complete the full packet even before a formal interview or walkthrough had taken place. After losing the first set of paperwork, we resubmitted it -- only for it to be lost again. On the third attempt, (I've added an attachment) she gave us someone else's paperwork entirely. She was not apologetic and could not locate any of our information, including our children's details. This raised serious red flags for us. If she is misplacing sensitive information -- including social security numbers and contact details -- and handing out other families' documents, it raises major concerns about the handling of confidential records and overall professionalism. Furthermore, her unwillingness to take accountability for missed appointments and administrative errors left us deeply uncomfortable. Because of this experience, we have decided not to enroll our children in the school. I don't recommend this daycare to anyone. Staff members don't watch the staff,there roaches in the back of the building where strollers and car seats are located,front desk office lady picked on my child because she didnt like him and everytime my kids came home they smelled funny read more

It's OKKK could be better. My sons first 2 days got him super sick it landed him in the hospital & was throwing up for 6 days. I haven't taken him back since honestly we were doing 3 days but now it's only drop in. Last day I picked up my son the lady in the room seemed very overwhelmed and wasn't really nice. There's was a child with so much snot coming out of his poor little nose. There needs to be a rule if a child has a runny nose cough or anything they need to be sent home in my opinion. The billing lady is super nice and told me a lot of things I didn't know about when to ween my son of the bottle or pacifier. Thanks to her my son no longer takes a pacifier. Only the bottle. Really wish they had cameras for parents especially if you drop them in over night. It would be nice to check on our children while we're at work. The prices are good in my opinion it's not expensive. Even though I was only doing 3 days. I do think after every night the place needs to be disinfected. And regularly wash kids hands and stuff. This is one of the best daycares I have ever put my kid in, they have enough teachers. Very organized,very respectful. Always greets me when I drop my kid off and pick my kid back up,helps if something goes missing and even helps my kid potty training. read more

My children have been going there for a little over a month now. I like the staff and teachers and there whole set up. The only negative thing I will say about them is that. When enrolling they did not tell me about having to have my sons ( 3 months) bottles pre-made when dropping him off. For whatever reason they can't mix bottle but they can administer medication to the children which I thought was odd but it is what it is. I love the fact that they are extremely organized with staff and the children. UPDATE: my children have been going for about 6 months and I still like the daycare but they are extremely understaffed. Pretty much everyone that i originally dealt with has left. some days the infant classrooms can have upwards of 20 babies ( personally witnessed). i think they should stop taking in children until they fulfill there staffing needs. read more

I'm not sure about this place. My son tells me he gets written up, cause of the color of his skin. Some of the things they claim that my child is doing are unbelievable, I need to see it with my own eyes. They have cameras, when you ask to see the footage the director puts it on the ower and privacy act claim. Why record children or teachers if the recording can't be viewed, especially when a child gets suspended and can't return for a few days? This is something that they can use to their advantage to back up them, and show the parents their child in action to match the write-up. The recording should be used for both parents and daycare staff, this will protect the child, teachers, and parents when a write-up is given. I know children will act differently when Mom or Dad isn't around. Some of these write-ups that I have gotten in regards to my child I feel the teacher is lying on my child, I am in total disbelief. I know my child and it is hard to believe the write-ups. I can't see my child hitting a teacher/adult, choking other children, etc... just to name a couple of write-ups that I have gotten. I am on the fence with this place. They also have a high turnover rate with the staff. With a daycare this size and the number of children, the ratio is completely off. They lose everything here. A number of jacket and blankets has come up missing, when asking for them they pretend to care and state they are going to look for it and still missing. Parents know your child when sending them to daycare... I want to know if there are any other parents (urban community) that are dealing with the same thing with this daycare (skin color write-ups)? read more

My son got sexually assaulted by 2 kids at this daycare. 2 kids pulled down my sons pants and underwear at the playground and tried touching my sons private parts and the kids did not get kicked out which is insane to me. The parents should be investigated cause where did they learn this from? The incident happened at 9am and the supervisor Paris didn't call me to inform me about my child being sexually assaulted until 5pm! 8 HOURS LATER. & gave me a bs excuse that she was too busy to call me right away. I've picked up my kid at night once and they had over 20 kids in a dark, cold room laying down on the floor in cots with only 1 teacher. This teacher was yelling at the kids so loud I heard it all the way at the opposite side of the building. This place is extremely dirty and understaffed. My son got an ear, nose and eye infection within the first few weeks of him coming here. My daughter got an ear infection and a yeast infection in the first few weeks of being here. I picked her up Friday with a horrible diaper rash. (She had no diaper rash at all when I dropped her off) It looked like they let her sit in a dirty diaper all day. She has never had a diaper rash this extreme. When I got home and changed her diaper she still had poop in her private parts. They don't wipe the babies correctly and this leads to infections. I would not recommend this daycare to my worst enemy! I am currently in the process of finding a different daycare and wish I did this way sooner. read more

Please do NOT enroll your child here. You will have problem after problem! This is the absolute worst daycare in the Las Vegas and Henderson valley. I can't stress enough how horrible it is here. I am called every single day to come pick up my child because she ran out of the class room. She's 3. She's a toddler. Why are the doors not child proof? I got a call last week that she hopped over the fence and got to the parking lot and I needed to come pick her up. Excuse me? What do you mean? Who's watching her? How did she have time to hop over a fence? There's so many other parents I've talked to that are experiencing the same thing. They constantly send your child home or suspend them for the smallest thing because they don't want to deal with them. The kids are a "liability" because they are not properly staffed. I've been at this center for 2 years through the transition from Bright Horizons to Imagination station. My 4yr old loves it here, the rate is kind of competitive. She absolutely loves her teacher Ms. Yvonne who makes the class room feel nice and homey, like a second family away from home. When i pick my daughter her friends always give her a hug good bye and i love the relationships she gaining. Linda is also a great director who I've worked with since they were originally Bright Horizons and she gets stuff done and i love her no nonsense attitude but she's also very personable. AWFUL EXPERIENCE! On 9/19/2019 I visited the facility of Imagination Station located at 1310 W. Warm Springs Rd. Henderson, NV 89014. After the tour, I signed up to enroll my child into the daycare. The admin by the name of Belle helped me with the process and application was filled out and signed. Belle and I had a conversation about the payment and receipt. I explained to Belle that a receipt was absolutely required as I had court follow Monday for adjustment of child Support. I explained to Belle that the courts required confirmation of child's enrollment along with paid receipt to include childcare costs to the adjustment. I was assured that she will be able to get a receipt emailed to me before my court time on Monday if payment is made my Friday. I made a payment on Friday as discussed. Well, Monday came and an hour before my court time, I still have not received my receipt. I called to speak with Belle but she was out of the office. My childcare cost was denied as I did not have the receipt for the payment. I called and spoke with Belle but she was out of the office due to family emergency for few days. When she returned, we conversed about the incident. I requested for a refund as I, now have been denied the child support adjustment and could not afford the child care expenses. Belle stated she will need to reach out to cooperate to get approval. I have called EVERY DAY for 4 weeks and spoke with Belle and finally the director by the name of Michelle for an update. After a long 4 weeks later, Michelle finally called me back to say that cooperate has denied my refund. If receipt was given when I made a payment or sent to me via email as promised, I would not have been denied my child support adjustments and I would not had to request for a refund. read more

After seeing the negative reviews below, I am not surprised that I came here to share my story. My son who is almost 2 now has been going to imagination station warm springs weekly since he was in the first stage room. Everything was great until 2019 came around, in the past 5 months I noticed that he has been coming home with major bumps/bruises, several bite marks that break his skin. I know that kids will be kids, and things will happen. But this seems like it's almost a daily basis, and there is really no explanation besides an incident report. Usually the incident reports just say iced or washed area. I feel like there are not enough staff for how many children they are watching. But I'm sure it's all about budget cutting and making the most money for the company by getting as many kids in as they can. While paying almost $700+ a month I expect more for sacrificing so much. At this point I'm actively looking for another daycare for my son. read more

My son was physically abused here by one of the teachers. After he came home with his hand swollen it looked like a bite mark. I called the director the next day first thing. She reviewed the tape and said no one bit him but the teacher grabbed his hand six times leading him away from some pictures on the wall. After the swelling went down I could see that it looked like a finger nail scratch. I went to the school and talked to the director for a long time. She sounded concerned but never even got back to me after we left. I made a police report but they said the tape had been taped over. My son is only a year old and can't defend himself. Before all of this my son was always sick. He had hand foot and mouth disease, pink eye in both eyes, ear infection in both ears all in a matter of 6 months. I figured babies get sick so I dealt with it but I won't tolerate him being physically abused by an adult. I want other parents to know what I experienced here. My son has been attending this school for over a year now. Just recently when Shantrese became the new director, it's been nothing issue after issue. She has the teachers call me at least once a week to pick my son up early due to "symptoms" of covid, yet has been cleared by a doctor every time. She allows teachers to give foods that my son is allergic to even after extensive reminders, then calls me or argues with me on whether or not he's sick. It's done nothing but make my life harder as a working parent since she stepped in. I have a 2 star rating because although I have to deal with the stress of not being able to confidently go to work, my son loves his teachers and he's always had a smile on his face when I drop him off and pick him up. read more

Don't send your children here!! Management is terrible. When an incident happens they don't take responsibility. Megan, the location director is the worst. She didn't take my issue seriously and has the worst attitude. My son was chased and kissed by a girl (who the teacher said was known for doing this to boys) and my son got tons of bumps all over his mouth and nose. When I asked to have the tapes reviewed and to see if they could get info from the family if she had something they said they couldn't ask the other family anything. And they still haven't got back to me about the tapes and what really happened. I simply wanted more info to see what really happened, why they let this girl kiss boys over and over, and if the little girl had any illness, stds? The bumps on his mouth were really bad and it sickened me that they didn't take it seriously. My 2 year old almost always had a dried, snotty nose when picked up. I would wipe other childrens' noses because I couldn't stand to see that. We complained so much, they finally had to close the school to have a meeting on wiping kids noses and enforcing normal protocols. Ridiculous! For $1300 a month!! 24/7 is great but not at the expense of my children's health and safety. I took my children out of there. I don't get assistance so paying $1300 a month for my 2 children to attend a bad daycare is not okay. As a single father working an odd schedule, this place is a life saver! I came in for a tour one day and left with my daughter being enrolled. Everyone was extremely friendly and knowledgeable! My baby loves this place! I would recommend anyone needing childcare to contact the Imagination Station and set up a tour! You'll be extremely happy! My 4 year old son has been with Ms. Yvonne for a couple months and she is amazing! My son has a hard time being away from me and I have pulled him out of the "best" daycares because he was so neglected and so miserable. Ms. Yvonne loves the kids and pays attention to all of them. She puts together fun activities for the kids and he always comes home with tons of art activities for the week. The overall cleanliness and atmosphere of the school is the best I have ever seen for a daycare. I also love that they have on site chefs that cook for the kids. read more

I've been with Imagination Station for a year now including their transition from Bright Horizons. Our 2yr old grandson has grown leaps and bounds by being in their care! You are ALWAYS greeted with a smile and hello, no matter what hour you come in to this daycare. Dillon has had some of the best care-givers around during his growth and currently is with his favorite, Ms. Heather. The staff is dedicated and devoted to the kids. The fact they are open 24 hrs is simply amazing when working with my crazy schedule as a nurse. The kids are fed extremely well with a variety of good foods (Dillon absolutely loves the hummus and pita chips!) There are plenty of indoor/outdoor activities and equipment, plus they put on public events as well, i.e. trunk or treat for halloween with costume parade. Tuition is affordable. I picked up my 4 year old a couple days ago and I asked him "how was your day" and he informed me his teacher hit him in the hand. I went and talked to the teacher and she denied it. My issue is that this "daycare" doesn't take issues seriously. My husband asked if he could watch the video for that day and all the supervisor said "I'll handle it and we'll check in with you" it's been a couple days now and still no answer or call back I'm never taking my son there again. Hi everyone, I have a child that goes to this daycare often. I'm here bc I got curious about the reviews of this daycare, because some of the things I've been hearing from other parents. I never had an issue with This daycare, but then I started to hear some things from other parents saying that they aren't really taking care of the kids, they don't feed or change the kids diapers. I also heard about possibly their being some abuse going on there as well. There may be some truth to this because it seems like my child is extremely hungry after being picked up. The diapers are the same amount as I packed them and always seem agitated when dropped off. I'm not trying to badmouth in anyway but this makes me extremely sad. This is only confirmation to a few suspicions that I had months ago because my child acted as they never had a meal before, after being left there for several hours. If this is read,The truth always comes forth eventually. it's not okay to see bruises on a little boy from another review! Or not giving someone a refund when you clearly didn't give her a Receipt that all business should give after payment. When i say I'm pissed my kids have only been enrolled here for two weeks. I enrolled them on a Monday i paid for 5 days i paid $600. They started on Tuesday and went Wednesday and Thursday. My son got sick and had a fever Friday so i didn't bring him. He still was sick the following Monday so i didn't bring them in. I brought them back Tuesday and they didn't go back the rest of the week. Today i take them it's Sunday and I'm going to pay for another 5 days. The front desk says i have a balance of $675!!! I'm confused because no one told me that i had to use my 5 days in that week. So basically the $600 i paid for 5 days doesn't matter since i only used 3 days out the 5 they keep the 2 days it doesn't rollover to cover that following day of Tuesday. They charged me without even telling me how the charges work. NOW!!! These teachers are absolutely horrible!!! My daughter does distance learning from there since she started and her teacher wasn't following her schedule she's missed days i asked her why the teacher said you don't have to do anything! MY DAUGHTER WAS TOUCHED IN HER PRIVATE AREA BY A LITTLE BOY AT THIS SCHOOL! SHE still brings it up at bath time. She knows his name so I know it happened more than once!! This school need to be SHUT DOWN they were bright horizon and the reviews were horrible and now they just changed the name not the staff. The only thing they did was add people from the other location. My daughter got hurt over and over here.They DO NOT watch the children! My son has attended this facility since he was 8 weeks old. This place has transitioned from Bright Horizons to Imagination Station and at first I was unsure because I loved that Bright Horizons was a nation wide facility but quickly learned they left because all they cared about was their bottom line . I loved what the old owners brought which was curriculum for children as young as 1 year old. The routine for the children allows them to thrive and the food and snacks are all included and is quality, balanced food cooked at the facility daily. The great thing about Nevada is they really do care about the quality of child care and regularly drop in to make sure things are fine and provide behavior specialist observations to the school should they need assistance on how to handle children that may be struggling, and show the teachers how they can better help them in the classroom. One time they had someone from the state counting how many hand puppets they had in their classroom (I guess there is a standard for that, haha!) he attends 5 days a week and is very happy here and loves to go to his school and be with his friends.
