There is plenty of parking available and several handicap spots. This location has 16 auditoriums. Hot off the presses! They now have VIP seats for extra space and more privacy. The VIP seats are in a private enclosure (black wall partitions). This seating option has heated reclining seats, side tables on both sides perfect for a purse and concessions, coat hooks on both sides and storage space (perfect spot for your umbrella). I love the space, however, they need to wipe down the partitions between showings. Also, Tuesday is a bargain for $5 tickets plus FREE medium popcorn for all registered Premier & Premier Plus reward members. The Premier reward membership is FREE. The Premier Plus reward membership is an annual fee of $14.95 which comes with more perks (birthday, etc.). "Got to go to the show where the good times are (It's more fun at MJR!) I…read morewent last night to see Fantastic Beasts - Crimes of Grindelwald, which I thought was an amazing movie, and even on a Tuesday the theatre wasn't so packed. We went to the 6:30pm 3D showing of the movie in one of the theatre's with the recliner seating, which was amazing; I don't remember having these seats years ago. The tickets were purchased online, so our seats were assigned; that makes it a lot easier than having to find a seat. This theatre also has an arcade game area where you can win tickets for prizes, this seems fairly new since I moved back, and of course smack dab in the middle is the concession stand, where you can purchase your expensive snacks to have during the movie; you can also use your scene points in this area as well to cash in or to earn. The overall experience was great; the theatre wasn't too busy, the washrooms were clean, and the movie was great. This theatre also has a direct mall entrance from Devonshire mall, so if you get there early you can do a bit of shopping.

As the girl was complying with the request,, the manager snapped at her again to let her know she could take it out to her car if she couldn't follow the rules (that she was following). The guy working behind the concessions counter was a straight up jerk. No idea if it was little man syndrome, or what, but he had a terrible attitude; he was huffing and blowing and tsk-ing about everything, even though there was nothing wrong happening. Not sure who he was mad at, but taking it out on the customers and making them feel uncomfortable because he wants to huff and pout about things isn't ok. Not to mention his fingernails were too long and they were dirty. Food service workers should not have dirty fingernails. It had been a while since we have come to this particular theatre...I'm starting to remember why.

Parking was a hit too- even though Monster Jam at Ford Field & another show at The Fillmore were going on, we were able to park behind City Theatre for ten bucks. Maybe it was just a lucky day, I don't know. Venue aside, I have to say that Robocop The Musical! was amazing, maybe even the best show I've been to. They run a tight, organized operation, even during their busiest nights. Traffic flow is handled well, the property is kept clean, and everything is managed in a way that shows real professionalism. That matters a lot when you're right next door. What stands out most is the consistency. Night after night, they create a smooth, enjoyable experience for their customers while still being respectful of the surrounding businesses and community. That balance isn't easy to maintain, but they do it well. It's great to have a well-run, family-friendly entertainment spot like this as a neighbor. They're a strong asset to the area, and I'd absolutely recommend checking them out.

I love this place, BUT…read more.. I come somewhat frequently and would love to give this 5 stars. It's a gem in a lot of ways and seemingly pretty well run. Screens are good, in and out is good, viewing angles are good. BUT you WILL have problems with people leaving headlights on and staff is not proactive enough about monitoring for this and stopping it. I left last night after having a movie ruined by people in front and behind me leaving lights on for an hour or more. I have seen them tell people to turn off lights, but more often I have to get out of my car and have the uncomfortable experience of knocking on windows to ask myself. It's an issue almost every time I go. There needs to at least be a number to call to notify staff so they can handle it. It sucks because I really do love this place otherwise.

The concessions are so affordable!! You can't beat the prices! Cash is definitely preferred. Please tip! All money goes towards maintaining the theater. They have an organist who plays before and after the movie, as well as intermission. The bathrooms are very clean and there is fun merchandise for sale in the lobby. It's such a great experience!
