    Drive-inn movie theater.

I wish I could have given this place a higher rating because I had an amazing time. This was my husband and I first experience at a drive-inn together. We absolutely loved the concept of watching a movie while remaining in your automobile. Below is a list of positives and negatives to help prepare you for what's ahead. Positives (+) 1) It's a double feature, you get two movies for the price of one. 2) You are in the comfort of your own car. You can make as much noise as you want without worrying about disturbing others. 3) You can turn the volume as high or as low as you like. 4) I was more comfortable in the car because I had complete control over the temperature. 5) You can bring your own snacks or buy snacks there. Negative (-) 1) The picture quality sucks! We were watching Bad Boys and Gretel and Hansel, and the film was dark the whole time. There were times we couldn't see anything. I'm hoping that they were having technical difficulties because it really disrupts the experience. I would give this place 5 stars if they fix the picture quality. I love the idea of being in your own car while watching the film. Even though the picture quality wasn't the greatest it was an amazing experience and I will be willing to give them a second try.

I've been coming to the Ford Wyoming regularly with my mother for the past 30 years of my life. By far my favorite drive in. They've recently done a lot of remodeling. The snack bar is bigger, and has many options to satisfy your cravings. Need to use the bathroom? They've got two CLEAN, huge bathrooms. All the staff is friendly. They recently painted the screens, and even got a new sign out front. I'm beyond happy to see the Ford doing so well again, they're packed every night like when I was a kid. The cameras can be a little dark, but when you go to a drive in, you're going for the entire experience. Not just the movie, so it's a small trade off. The atmosphere is typically relaxed. But on nights like "Straight Outta Compton," it was a MAD HOUSE. BEST NIGHT EVER. EVERY ticket sold out and the line was down the road! I highly recommend the experience for everyone. There's 6 screens, two movies each, and usually repeat until sun up

They are still doing drive in movies right. The place is clean, they keep tabs on issues like people havIng their lights on and the bathrooms are well maintained

I love going to the drive-in! We've always enjoyed it a few times each summer. Now that we have a baby, it's a perfect night out. Last time we went, our daughter was completely drawn into watching the big picture in front of us during the first movie, and asleep by a little while into the second. We packed some candy and slurpees from 7-Eleven and planned to get popcorn once we were settled in. With my horrible night vision, I chickened out on walking ALL THE WAY to the concession stand, but my husband knew how much I wanted the popcorn and walked over there for me. Yay! I didn't check out the restrooms (see my previous note about my night vision), so my only advice would be if you don't drink too much, hopefully you won't have to find out if they're good or bad.

As someone who loves going to the movies and has been severely deprived of that during this pandemic, going to this drive-in for the first time this weekend was such a wonderful experience! It is still very different than going to the theaters because my car seats are ultimately not as comfortable as movie theater recliners, but it scratched the itch! The drive-in is so organized, the line getting in was long, but would go quickly, and I was surprised by how many areas/screens they had. I will definitely be checking to see what other movies they have because I'm eager to return! The only slight downside was that the movie screens were kind of dark, so at times (especially during darker scenes) it would be hard to see what was going on in the scene to the point where I sort of need to rewatch the movie again to capture all the nuances of the movie. So I might not recommend this for new movies, which is what I went to see, and rather for movies you've already seen before and wanted to rewatch, given that they do play a lot of classics / throwback movies!

No alcohol allowed! But snacks and NA drinks are ok. They have a concession stand or you can order pizza from inside the arena. Port a potties are available unless you want to walk in the arena. While the front rows are reserved for cars and the further rows for SUVs and trucks, it can still be difficult to see if you have a big vehicle in front of you. Occasionally, someone will also leave their headlights on. I found that prices have risen since I last visited, but it's still a great deal for a fun night!

They allow you to bring your own snacks and (non-alcoholic) beverages and the spaces are large enough to accommodate camp chairs if you prefer not to sit in your car. We ended up throwing a bunch of throw pillows in the trunk and had a great experience. There is a concession stand and the restaurant in the hockey facility allows you to order food, which we did. The food wasn't impressive and was fairly overpriced for what it was, but they had many options, just not very much for dietary restrictions, so definitely recommend bringing some snacks/eating beforehand. From the perspective of urban planning, this is such an ingenious use of a parking lot that otherwise doesn't get as much use in the summer months. We love land uses that create space for people to gather and enjoy entertainment without having to change the overall location!

I…read morenow use MoviePass and the Civic Theater is an option, and only 15 minutes from my house, so I decided to try it out. I had heard they do not have recliners, they have regular seats but overall they are comfortable. I will say I'm 5'5" and didn't think there was a lot of legroom, though (which could be a problem if I bring my 6'4" husband with me next time to see a movie...). I will say there is a front row that has all the legroom you could desire though so that's always an option. I came here to see Hitpig tonight, and it was on the 2nd floor - definitely allow some time either before or after your movie to check the second floor out because it's basically like a little museum dedicated to the theater's history, and I found it very cool, especially the old projectors that they have. Both the first and the second floor have bathrooms, also, which was nice. There was a sign on the door to the theater that says on Thursdays they do $2 sodas and popcorn with ticket purchase, which is a good deal. I didn't buy any concessions today but I saw they had soda, popcorn, candy, and a few other things I would imagine. This is a cute theater; not going to lie and say I didn't miss having recliner but I would come back here to see a movie and maybe go out to eat in downtown Farmington afterwards. Also, they have parking for free in the back, behind Basement Burger Bar and the other restaurants nearby.

Such a charming little old school movie theater. Cheap tickets, yummy popcorn, and good movies.read more
