Great reclining seats. Rows at far enough apart that if you have your feet propped up, people can exit your row without bumping your feet. Although we were sitting in row B off to the far side, viewing was good. They have a full bar with speciality cocktails that are associated with a movie. For Wicked, they offered a green Elphaba and a pink Glinda frozen cocktail. There were also actors dressed as the two characters that you could pose for photos with. I went to watch Sinners today and I have to say I was very impressed with the theatre! The seats were very comfortable, there was plenty of parking. I do think the concessions are a bit confusing when you go to one counter and pay at the other, but mine was very quick so I didn't mind. Will be back for sure! read more

When I originally lived in Michigan several decades ago. Emagine wasn't a thing back then. A lot of AMC, Star Theaters and Showcase Theaters, but never Emagine. I moved to the southwest in 2002 and recently moved back after 23 years. Went to see the latest Mission: Impossible film this afternoon at this location and was blown away with how nice the Emagine brand is. I wish I had this kind of luxury at theaters when I was younger! One of the most impressive things near the concessions area was a Slush machine that dispensed Hi-C Orange Lavaburst, which everyone knows is a flavor that is in the upper echelon of Hi-C flavors (which was initially made famous by being a McDonald's fountain drink staple for decades) Comfy seats, a cool full-sized player piano in the lobby by the bar, and excellent pricing at a time when most other theater chains are charging and arm and a leg nationwide for tickets. I think i've found my favorite new theater chain. Glad to be back in Michigan, and I'm glad Emagine has so much to offer. read more

After a multiple year hiatus (pandemic then a combo of life + not being excited by any movies out there) my husband and I came back to this Emagine and I'm excited to report it's still just as great. Theatres are still clean, recliner chairs are still in working order and as comfy as ever. They've expanded some of their dining options, now offering things like pizza, nachos, sliders, funnel fries, etc. Nothing fancy but not bad if you aren't able to grab dinner before a movie (I particularly enjoy the chicken tenders and fries). Just order at the counter and they'll bring it directly to your seat on a fancy tray that fits into your cup holder (with another fancy cup holder included so you don't have to give that up!) Tuesdays are still rewards days where rewards members can enjoy $5 tickets and free popcorn. Pretty good deal, especially if you're taking a group or a family to catch a flick. read more

I still recommend this theater because it's local and I love the olliepop/real butter option, but I've noticed changes since the ownership change/new partnership. There are new faces and small service level changes. One example: in the past, when my husband ordered a beer at the bar, I could always get a cup of water from the bartender in a larger cup with a lid (to avoid spills:)) Now they direct you to a self-serve area and can give you a small cup (sans lid) where you fill your own water. It was always the little things--those personal touches--that made Emagine feel like home. I'll be sad to see that slip away. read more

My husband and I love this movie theater. Any time we go elsewhere, it's such an awful experience, we ALWAYs miss emagine. I really really wish they would purchase the old theater in Ann Arbor on Jackson Road! Driving to saline is a little dicey in deer season. We are obsessed with this place. It's always clean, there are great kid programs during the summer, they have sensory showings, and the concessions are fabulous. I'd love to see some ice cream though :) Funnel Fries and nachos are some of our favorites, pizza isn't my favorite and unfortunately they seem to always overcook/ burn the chocolate chip cookie AND brownie in the wood fired oven. The rewards program is great for movie enthusiasts. We love to take our kids here and always feel taken care of. The manager was great and helped me find an oxygen plug when I needed it for our movie. Once you try emagine you won't go to another movie joint! read more

Best movie theater in the Ann Arbor area BY FAR. Always clean, easy to purchase tickets, free refills on pop and slushies. My only complaint is that this theater has a limited number of movies showing due to the low number of screens. You often don't have any smaller releases, and if a big kids movie comes out it takes over most of the screens. Regardless, I will always prefer seeing a movie at Emagine Saline compared to any other theater in the area. read more

I can't remember the last time I went to a theater, but I'm thrilled that I was able to come here! This is a truly luxurious movie experience. Upon entering, I noticed how spacious And beautiful the lobby was. This was nothing like the loud, video game- filled lobbies of my childhood. The concession area and bar were nicely done, as well. We started with a long island and blue steel for drinks. Popcorn and nachos as snacks. Food is actually brought to you as you watch the movie in the most comfortable, reclining seat. I have one here in the past and decided that this is my go to movie spot for the future. This is the 1st time back since start of covid which was close to the beginning of 2020. I decided to do a movie to celebrate my birthday. I like to go here fir the comfort and cleanliness. There were not many people here at all. No lines and maybe 4 people in the theater. The bar and food were also open. It will be nice when it is back to the norm but for now the ability to have it all to yourself is great. I will be back. read more

I went there with our Daughter and Granddaughters for the first time yesterday. It's a beautiful theater with reasonably priced tickets and very comfortable seats. Seat selection is a very nice feature. I thought it was odd that most people brought blankets from home - until I got inside. It was about 90 degrees outside and very cool inside. I was wearing shorts and wish I had sweats to change into! Apparently it's always very cold in this place. The sound volume was so loud I actually considered going back out to my truck to get earplugs! My hearing is not great, so for people with normal hearing it must be almost painful. After speaking with other people that go here frequently, it seems they have the same two complaints. read more

The crew that works here have been great every time I come out here for a show, and the theater is always clean. I love this theater, the seats are so comfortable, the whole process of buying tickets, choosing your own seat is so easy. I have had so many great moments in this place, the only reason I don't give it 5 stars it the movie selection, they show movies that are geared toward the horror/ big action/ kiddie/blow things up crowd. My favorite movie theatre in MI so far! There's no clapping along like at MJR BUT you can't beat the prices & quality seats here. It blows my mind that it's like $6 to go matinee in these beautiful reservation-only recliner seats. It's not a HUGE movie theatre but any movie we've wanted to watch has been available. Overall, Emagine really upgrades the overall experience. When you walk in, there's a lounge area with a gas-lit fireplace going - even in the middle of summer. Restrooms are ALWAYS clean & there are plenty. I tried going to IMAX in Ypsi and I was like "Nope!" coming back to Emagine! read more

Emagine is always on my agenda when I'm visiting Saline. The theater is massive, the reclining chairs and food service are such a nice touch, plus there's a full bar in the lobby if you just want to grab a drink. Of course, you can also order drinks to your specific seat! The food is not typical theater food and it's amazing! Pretzel bites, pizza, different kinds of popcorn, and candy of course! They also have edible cookie dough so basically you don't need anything else. Plus, tickets are pretty affordable! Especially if you go during the day, I think I got mine for like $8 which is a steal. Can't wait to go back and see Endgame this weekend! read more

Emagine theaters do a great job overall with their new theaters, super comfy reclining seating, loyalty points, limited menu, full bar and even a fireplace/seating area to enjoy your cocktail on a cold winter's eve. The Quesadillas are actually their best menu offering and they're served with either ranch or salsa...or both. Oh, and make sure you grab a cold drink as they make their quesadillas with just enough jalapeños to draw some nice heat. Emagine theater-going experience is becoming the new normal. Modern, upscale, affordable, comfortable, streamlined, efficient, clean and well staffed. This was our first visit to the Saline location and wow. You walk in, no queue. There is someone to help you find your seat but I do love that everything is digital, if you want it to be. The concession line was a bit confusing, with ordering food at the counter and paying elsewhere, but it's just new to me. Free soda refills are the new normal and glad to see the Coke freestyle machines, with all the flavors. The theater is small, with maybe 10 screens. The seating is comfortable and not too large too, which was nice. Didn't feel like we were a mile from the screen, or too close either. We love love love the seats. Though not sure how anyone can sit so close in those cuddle chairs. They are in the first row. The online seat reservation system was affordable and takes all the stress out of getting to the theater in time to get a good seat. Make your reservations days before and relax. The parking is the only issue you might find. Ruby Tuesdays takes reservations too, so our dinner and movie date night was very nice and stress free. Joining the rewards programs is worth the time to sign up, but I need to look into what the upgraded membership means. It's an extra $12.95 but I couldn't tell what that benefit would be for the price. Believe the hype - Emagine theater is awesome. read more

When I heard that a movie theater was coming to Saline, I wondered how that was going to work. I never was a fan of mega movie theaters with 20 screens and 40 acre parking lots. What makes Emagine work on a smaller scale? Reserved seating. No mob scenes when a movie first opens, only to be followed by a few weeks of only a few people per theater until the movie is gone for good. Because of that one change to the movie watching experience, my husband and I have been going to the movies much more often than usual. We are no longer interested in the other two theaters in Ann Arbor. From the classy lobby with the player piano to the ticket reservation system to the comfy reclining seats, I can tell that someone has thought about all the details of the movie going experience. This is a movie theater for adults. Want to do dinner and a movie? There's not much for me at the theater itself, because I'm gluten sensitive. Biwako Sushi is right next door. Your other nearby options are Ruby Tuesday and Mancino's pizza joint across the parking lot. I'll take the sushi, please! read more

This is my favorite movie theater around. I really like all the perks(comfy recliners, preticket sales, large parking area, comfy environment with couches and chairs) The chairs outside the theatres have drink holders and a few have charging stations. My absolute favorite is the coke freestyle station as you grab a refill yourself instead of waiting in another line again which another local theater has you do again wasting movie time. I also like the separation between the popcorn and the cashier which speeds things along. There are a few varieties of popcorn also with an upcharge for them. Also convenient here is the hot food separation such as pizza and other items. After paying, you pick your beverage and there is ample room for large crowds to do all the concession and drink purchases without waiting in too long of a line. You can even get food delivered to your seat with a tray that fits into your cup holder Even with people entering and exiting the theatre, you don't have to worry about bothering others or disturbing their movie going experience. The recliner with its large spacing and space even to bring a blanket from home is a great way to enjoy a night out at the movies. There is choices from a regular experience, 3D, D box and even sensory friendly movie times. Emagine clearly thought of everything when designing their theatres. I even travel outside my city to go here vs the closer theatre due to the perks and comfort. read more

I'm not sure I'll be back because the seats are so comfy that I'm afraid I'm going to fall asleep (I will be back just don't want to pay to take a nap)! I love the reserved seating ahead of time so you aren't being too disruptive picking out a seat. The bar looks amazing and the food options are much better than normal. There are a few kinks to smooth out, but I'm sure it won't take long. read more

I am so happy they built this theatre in Saline. They have cheap, affordable prices which make it easy and better to go to. One of their best features are their seats. They are made of a really nice material and are very comfortable. The seats are reclining which makes it much more relaxing. I was very surprised by how big the place was when i first walked in there. It's hard to believe it was a grocery store before a movie theatre. They have 9 very nice and big screens for your movie watching. They also have a very nice lobby with fire places, comfortable seating, and a piano that plays itself. I would definitely recommend going to this theatre over any other. read more

Watching movies in such a clean, nice theater is a real treat. Advance seat selection is a great feature. You pick there or buy online, in advance. For the popcorn connoisseur there's regular, cheddar and caramel. Free refills on large. There's also a great candy selection and they offer Coca Cola products! There is also a bar and plenty of other food and beverage options available. The reclining seats are super comfy. Easy parking, friendly employees. Worth the drive for a bit of an upscale experience (and if you go early, the price is great!) I can't imagine a better place to see movies than Emagine! read more

Have come here many times now and am very happy with how the industry changed to easy online tickets (without fees) and choice seats so you don't have to worry about arriving and being in the front or the extreme side. Have used the cuddle chairs once, and otherwise stick to the normal loungers for movies. My wife enjoys the loungers with a blanket, so if you get cold or like watching with a blanket, bring one along, that's part of the appeal of the bigger comfy chair loungers. Also a good side note that you can grab a beer for $10 which isn't too bad (size is pretty big). I typically get a Blue Moon and stay away from Bud-water (which albeit is cheaper for a reason). read more

Been there every few weeks since it opened. Simply put, it is the nicest movie theater I have been to, anywhere. VERY, VERY clean, friendly staff, great theaters, lots of room, very comfortable, nice lounge area and bar, nice concessions. Honestly, I hope they stay that way. We'll see how good they are in a few years after the "new place" polish wears off. I truly hope it is as good in five years as it is now. read more
