Doctor: Dr. Haas, Thomas (The best -at least at Breast Aug-) Procedure: Breast Augmentation Saline under the muscle Height: 5'8 Weight: 129 (the day of surgery) My procedure is and was probably the easiest one so I feel for those who are getting BBLs, etc... This is my experience only! I can not even believe most reviews on here as for my experience this place should AT LEAST have 4.5 stars. But I am not invalidating those really bad reviews, I just couldn't, nor can't relate my experience was soo good I'm writing this 5 hours after I came back home. (Also this is my first surgery so I am ignorant to better experiences... This is the only one known to me thus far, and it was very very good.) STEP 1 - BOOKING: Was very easy, my procedure was $2,500 + the surgical bra which was $55. In total: $2,555.00 . To secure my booking I had to pay $255.50 and as of for me since the day I payed the booking fee -- Mia Aesthetics staff would call me every Monday to check up on my LAB work and clearance... There was definitely pressure but like when people are strict and are serious about their job it shows and I like it!!. STEP 2 - LAB WORK/Clearance: Mia Aesthetics staff were very patient with me and continuously gave me more time to submit LAB WORK/clearance. I am a very busy girl and could barely make it to most appointments but everything worked out perfectly and smooth. 10/10 LAB WORK/Clearance experience (Note: if you have insurance you'll pay $4.99 for all this paper work to be done, which is amazing!) +Bonus - DRUG USE/NICOTINE: Marijuana doesn't matter, at least not that much as it is the only drug not subject for cancellation. I still did quit: Alcohol, marijuana and nicotine use 2 months before my surgery... However if your job demands you to go outside to get water for yourself, food supplies etc... Then you know how hard it is to (not) find someone sparking up a cigarette or vaping everywhere you go. I would wear masks, take long paths JUST to not get second hand smoke, and required my husband, my sister and anyone around me to smoke outside of my house (not just outside my room) and wash their hands afterwards. STEP 3 - PREOP: Amazing pre-op experience! Took less then 30 minutes and I went by myself, all good They'll ask you to sign papers of approval, then direct you to a room where they'll: check you BMI, check your weight/height, ask you how long ago you quit any substances and will be taking your before pictures! STEP 4 - SURGERY DAY: (Note: I coudn't eat or drink anything for 8 hours before the surgery which was the hardest part as I am addicted to drinking water every second... They did provide Gatorade after waking up.) I came in and they asked me to sign some more papers, my surgery was scheduled for 6AM but I was asked to come in at 5AM. I live here in Miami so the commute was splendid. So yeah they asked me to sign some papers, in less than 10 minutes things got REAL... they directed me to a room where they tested me for nicotine, drugs and other things... (Which by the way they'll only test you for nicotine if you have complications if not they won't... If I knew that I would've saved myself the dirty looks of people when I held my breath around them just because they were smoking and I was scared my test was gonna come up positive because of second hand smoke)... Anyways the medical assistant was nice she was very helpful and accommodating, gave me the princess treatment and then the doctor came we discussed sizes and medications... Then the anesthesiologist came by and we talked about if I had any allergies, etc. I wanted to hug her afterwards 'cause she is truly amazing (I can't really remember names, I can barely remember my family bdays) but she was brunette AND also I was so so cold due to the anesthesia so I wasn't gonna do all of that just to hug her, but she was that great and motherly that I was hurting from my breasts and I was still thinking "omg give me a hug you're so nice" SHE WILL HAVE YOU CLOSE YOUR EYES AND OPEN THEN BOOM... Big boobs! ... They then carried me through the back and my sister was ready to pick me up (I came out at 8AM... They whole process probably took 2 hours. To come: STEP 5 - POSTOP: I am having my pre-op tomorrow at 9AM then on Monday at the same time so this review isn't done yet! I'm so upset. After Mia cancel my operation after receiving clearance from my doctor, they canceled my appt. The deposit was non refundable which isn't fair due to it being their cancellation of the procedure. I disclosed my medical history to them, they let me waste money and pay for labs and other test along with my doctors clearance only not to honor the clearance. They sent me an email saying I was cleared then basically took the clearance back. I'm filing a law suit because the policy says nothing about non-refundable if they cancel on me. Why pay for their negligence in reviewing my file previously. They said administrative fees. However, I submitted documents on Sunday when they sent them to me and by Tuesday I was approved then denied. So 2 days of sending me an email means no refund is a joke. read more

I was scheduled for a mommy makeover, but because of a delay in getting a cardiology appointment, I had to cancel my surgery. I was told I could reschedule, but for the past two months I've been trying to do just that with no success. I've left messages, sent emails through the patient portal, and even called multiple times. Every time I call, I'm told they can't reach the department that is supposed to provide me with a new price quote. No one ever calls me back. I paid a deposit, and at this point it feels like once they have your money, getting a response becomes nearly impossible. The lack of communication has been extremely frustrating. To make matters worse, they have called me before 7:00 a.m., yet they don't respond to emails or return phone calls when I need assistance. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this place. I wanted to share my experience to help others make an informed decision. I went into this procedure requesting 400cc breast implants, but after surgery, I immediately noticed my results were much smaller than expected. When I reviewed my implant card, it showed 295cc. When I asked Dr. Poser about this, I was told that based on my body type, a smaller size would achieve the look I wanted. While I understand that surgeons use their professional judgment, the final result does not align with what I requested, and I wish there had been clearer communication and agreement prior to surgery. My post-op experience was also frustrating. After following all aftercare instructions, I noticed one of my incisions had opened. I reached out right away with photos and a phone call, but it took about a week to get a response. I was told to use Polysporin, but the wound seemed to worsen. I sent additional photos and updates but experienced a much longer delay in hearing back. Out of concern, I went to the ER where tests confirmed there was no infection, but I still had an open wound. I eventually went to a post-op specialist I've trusted from previous procedures, and with their guidance, the wound began to improve within days. Overall, the lack of timely communication and follow-up care made this experience much more stressful than it should have been. While I respect the medical aspect of the procedure, I do regret choosing this provider due to the outcome and the level of post-operative support. read more

I got a Breast lift in 2024. It was around $8000. I regret getting the breast lift. It was not worth $8000. I was not happy with my results. I am still not happy with it. This company is so unprofessional and the communication sucks. When I got to my three months follow up appointment at the Vegas location I was told that the doctor was doing a surgery and to come back. I was from out of town and was unable to make the rescheduled appointment. I was never told I could get a touch up. I'm out of a lot of money for poor quality surgery. I paid out of pocket. I answer their pre procedure questions prior to getting all the paperwork for all these tests that you have to have done a stress test and EKG I had to have 2 doctor letters saying that I was approved for surgery, and then they still turned me and kept my deposit 3 weeks b4 my schedueld date. Had all the testing dotirevencalled to speak to Mias doctor performing surgery and was turned down due to mild copd which is NOT an issue for me at all. was so excited to get lipo here but after I got sick from the procedure, they pretty much left me hanging. After lipo 360 with Dr. Giorgis I developed a horrible infection. I was assured that the excruciating pain I felt was normal- it was not. My post op symptoms were ignored and went untreated. I have serious concerns about sanitation at this place. I ended up in the hospital for 10 days with a 104 degree fever, had to get 2 additional surgeries, IV antibiotics and a drain to get the infection out. The surgery was not worth the medical issues it caused. When I raised concerns, they denied any responsibility for the damage caused. I paid a $620 deposit for an Implant Replacement and Lift for 4/29. Had an abnormal Stress Test, so I was referred to a Cardiologist and was sent for additional testing. Cardiologist's office called and said that the Stress Test was a false positive. I was cleared by my Cardiologist and my PCP and uploaded all of my paperwork to the portal. I received a call a few days later saying that my surgery was cancelled due to the failed Stress Test and EKG. I explained to the person on the phone what happened and about the additional testing. She was really rude and pretty much said, it is what it is. I was told my deposit is non-refundable and that they would escalate. I also had my Doctor send me an Appeal Letter, which was provided to Mia and still haven't heard back. Please beware before giving any funds to these people. read more

AVOID!!! If you can spare a few extra hundred dollars, do your research and go to another clinic instead! NOT TO MENTION, they have surgical coordinators that violate HIPAA! I've gotten emails with patient names!! Super unprofessional!! Double check who you're sending confidential information to! I was going to get a BA. I spoke to a surgical coordinator and put my $250 deposit down. I later made another payment, of $1000, that was NOT required- just to be a little caught up before I got there. The rest of the balance wasn't due until the day before surgery (the pre-op apt). I submit my medical clearance and according to them my calcium was "too high", although it was normal (because otherwise my medical doctor wouldn't have cleared me). My BMI was also too high. Although upset, I understood. I decided to not move forward with the surgery at that time and requested a refund of my SECOND payment. I understood that my $250 deposit would be forfeited. The 2nd payment wasn't mandatory so, it should've been refunded no problem, right? WRONG. Keep in mind, this was right before the pandemic. They refused to give me back my 2nd payment. So I did what any person would do- I disputed the charge. I couldn't get the money back. I didn't understand why, since I made the payment on my own accord. Fast forward almost a year- I try again, and they tell me if I hadn't disputed the charge, they would've refunded me my money. That disputing the charge goes "against the contract". I was in "breach of contract" the first time I tried to get my refund, what's the difference now? Avoid them. Go somewhere else. Try CG cosmetic. Don't make another payment until everything is clear. Tried doing a consult this morning. I was placed on a phone call with a coordinator by the name of Sandra. She became very rude, and argumentative when I voiced my concerns about sending a non refundable 10% deposit, without first being able to confirm the date of my procedure. If this is the policy at Mia, then it needs to be revised. It's safe to say that I won't be doing any business with the company, because I will not put my life in the hands of anyone with such poor representation. It all started from the beginning when I paid my deposit to secure a date after they took my $500 they said the date I paid for wasn't available and the deposit wasn't refundable, so I had to go with the date they gave me which wasn't convenient due to my cycle being in that time period. I flew to Miami from California when I got there. I wasn't feeling well due to being on my cycle they said I had to get clearance from an urgent care before they would do my surgery. I went and did that it cost $180 then when I went in they have me waiting for hours Dr.Wright showed up finally and told me she would not do the surgery because she was worried about my recovery but that I could come back another time. I was obviously upsetting because I traveled so far. I talked to the staff, and they said another doctor could possibly do it during my stay. They never called me, so I went back home. I contacted them again to request a refund, and they agreed and then blocked my number so I could not call to get any updates. I had to call from my sister's phone to try to reschedule since the $500 wasn't refundable, but I could use it with another doctor. They then told me that none of the doctors at the Miami location would do my surgery, giving me no explanation as to why. The discount I originally got was not available at those locations, and it was over 2k more for the same surgery. I asked them to refund my deposit due to the fact it was their fault I didn't get surgery, and they refused to do it as well. They said no because that was the policy. This business is dirty in their actions, and the facility has bugs in the lobby! I can only imagine how their surgery area would be. I proceeded to send out labs and got told they made a mistake and forgot to ask for the PTT. Therefore, I had to pay an additional $250 to get my labs redone. They are money hungry as other reviews have said and will give you a false positive drug test and gaslight you to charge you an extra $1500 to reschedule. Then when I asked for a refund, they tried to tell me that I couldn't get one because I had a positive drug test which I proved to be false. As soon as they canceled my surgery, I went straight to Lab quest and got a drug test done that I paid for and downloaded my results which they told me looked fraudulent, but I downloaded it from my portal. My surgery was feb 17th 2021 and my doctor was Dr.Fasusi. I was scheduled for 360 lipo and a bbl. I just wanted to say that he made me feel so comfortable going into surgery. I was very emotional and afraid but something about his personality was very soothing. I already knew I loved his work so I trusted his guidance through the process. I felt very supported and highly recommend him as a doctor. As far as my experience with Mia aesthetics everything went smooth for the most part but the communication wasn't so good. The establishment is garbage, I had surgery on 10/2 the staff were horrible, they treat you like a number once you've paid for your surgery in full & rush you out of surgery as soon as you're out. I was told to "stop crying and call my ride" as soon as I woke up out of surgery! I am now 2 weeks post op, although I do love my results my whole experience was less then decent. They are over booking women/clients my surgery was at 9AM and they did not see me until 2PM, with no updates just a bunch of rude little girls at the front desk that are unprofessional and rude, they rolled their eyes every time I asked for an update. My surgeon was Dr. Mehio, i think he did great as far as my results although I had no post op follow uo from him, which is disappointing. I came in for my post op appointment and I didn't even get to see him... I have since called and emailed when I got home 10/7 around questions I have and still no response, today is 10/16.. if you care about bedside care, this is not the place for you... if you don't care this is ran as a "doll making factory" this would be a great fit! I had my surgery with Dr. Scroggins on 2/7/24 I had 360 lipo/BBL. When I went in for my surgery the anesthesiologist was extremely warm and friendly so was the front desk,my coordinator Katia was amazing. But here is were the problems started I was told by Dr. Scroggins and his team that after the initial swelling in three months I should see my results however I look EXACTLY the same pre surgery my weight stayed at 224 my waist is STILL 36 inches and my hips went from 45 to 47 inches which hardly looks like anything. The only thing that happened was that I lost 4,600$. I am hoping to at least get a revision but Will have to pay an additional 3500$ for anesthesia. read more

BEWARE: DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY MONEY!!! After finally being given a quote, which included a promotional discount, I decided I wanted to do the Mommy Makeover. Was pressured to put 10% deposit down that day, as the "promotion" was ending that day. Go to schedule surgery date and pay deposit, all of a sudden price increased by $300. Girl says, sorry I chose a wrong option when preparing your quote...like it was no big deal (shoulda been my first clue!). I asked multiple times what other cost would be encountered and what tests/labs would be required. I was told only bloodwork and a medical clearance visit from my primary...great, easy enough. I confirmed that info at least 3 times, as I needed to be sure I could cover all expenses. Pay deposit (nearly $800) and then the next day I happened to learn anyone over 50 is required to complete a stress test, mammogram and couple other tests, over and beyond labs and clearance visit. Obviously, they KNEW MY AGE but still neglected to advise of these additional tests! Oh, and all has to be done within a 30 day window (between the 90 days and 60 days before surgery) and they will not provide the lab/test orders any sooner than the 90 days before surgery..I requested the orders and was told no exceptions, sent 90 days before surgery. Knowing dr appointments are hard to get, I tried to be proactive and call around to schedule within that 30 day window, since if not done in that window they cancel your surgery and keep your deposit. I quickly learned that offices that conduct stress tests only do them if ordered by a dr for medical issues and insurance will only cover if medically necessary for a medical diagnosis. So, IF I could get an office to agree to do the stress test, minimum cost is well over $2,000, up to $4,000, out of my pocket. My mammogram is done yearly with my annual female checkup, which falls after the magical 30 day window, so I would have to pay out of pocket for an additional one...again, more expenses. I didn't even check costs of the other test knowing this was already adding up to more than I planned for. I called back within just a couple business days of paying my deposit, which was still 4 1/2 months before my surgery date, to explain this was turning out to be WAY more expensive than expected, due to their staff providing incorrect information. I advised I would have never agreed to do the surgery had I been given all this information and known of the additional THOUSANDS of dollars of expenses. They are refusing to return my deposit, that was only made couple days before, even though my surgery date is still 4 1/2 months away and the reason being the incorrect information THEY provided. BTW, the promotion DID NOT end that day, in fact, it's still an active promotion now. I've asked to speak with a supervisor, no response. DO NOT USE THEM, don't get caught up and lose your deposit too...wonder how many others have lost their deposits at no fault of their own??? read more

I'm going to keep it short and sweet. This place is the devil!! 1) My hemo dropped after surgery and nobody advised me or my caretaker. So I was fainting blacking out all day and weak until finally on my post op appointment I was told I need to take Hemaplex and iron vitamins. 2) My results are terrible from Dr Mehio. Yet they won't approve me for a revision but offered me a "discount" after I complained with the BBB. They advertise results right after surgery On fb and ig but you won't see your final results until everything is settled and not swollen which take months!! So be aware because the lipo is TERRIBLE and the bbl results are deformed. I have a terrible shape and I didn't get approved! I was super nervous at first but when I got there the day of my surgery everyone def helped calm my nerves. I felt in super good hands with Dr. Wright in Miami. I had a breast augmentation and she absolutely killed it ! my boobs look amazing ! I currently live in Seattle Washington, and do not feel comfortable with any plastic surgeons that I have looked at with doing a bbl that has the experience of women who want a certain look such as in the ALT and Miami area. I was looking at Mia Aesthetics and I love the work that I have seen so far but the more I look into Mia, it seems that I would need to be ok with poor customer service. Many women travel there and I am saddened by their willingness to let customer service go for a great body. I would have thought that they go hand in hand! To my surprise I am getting the impression that Mia has lost its intended purpose for serving its women who helped them gain notoriety! I am actually unsure about this place now and looking at other facilities at this point. Just my input that I would like to share about how you can improve customer service to your clients from the outside looking in... 1. Front Office Staff - Who handle New Patients only waiting room traffic (pre - check-in only! 2. Post Op Returning Patients - Waiting Room - Keep your returning patients in a separate waiting area. As a new client seeing a scene of women coming back for post op would turn me off and sends an overall message that your returning patents aren't being given special treatment seeing they just had surgery; having women laying around isn't a good look when post op clients should be receiving special treatment and be in another area seeing in many cases will be their last impression/visit of your clinic as they leave your office and return home unless they live in the area. I think a follow up call 1 week after the post op visit from an experienced nurse or the Doctor who performed the surgery should call the client period to check up. 3. A dedicated call center or staff members- Experienced staff who can field calls for potential clients ( staff dedicated to potential clients & returning clients) This will help when people call to get proper response in a timely manner and meet their needs. 4. Deposit - These women should be allowed a refund on their deposit should they change their minds for any reason (possibly give these women a deadline of 30 days before Surgery Date) that is plenty of time to re-schedule another prospective client. Giving women this choice to me creates another element of customer service and allows your client to feel comfortable that Mia is confident in the quality work you provide and tells customers your services are in demand/wanted and you KNOW this to be true. Currently, locking a client into a nonrefundable contract seems money greedy in my view. If you are truly customer oriented - change your policy/practices. 5. Pre OP Surgery Consultation - Women should be allowed to see the physician, who are serious about the surgery if they choose. (charge potential clients a fee that covers his time) nonrefundable. If the clients chooses to go with the surgery - apply a discount or free product to the bill - give them something for choosing your services vs your competition. Lastly - make sure all your staff are licensed and rotate in all these areas so they are well versed and experienced in being able to provide top notch customer service in all areas needed. If they don't live up the standards of treating patients like FAMILY as you say...then they shouldn't be there. I had been looking at Mia Aesthetics and its unfortunate that a death occurred at this clinic. Sometimes things are running too fast and now its time to start rebuilding and remembering the reasons the Mia Aesthetics was formed in the first place. I hope this feedback helps your clinic understand that being money hungry can cause other important aspects to be missed and most of your clients are coming to your clinic simply because they can afford these procedures that they otherwise wouldn't be able to take advantage of elsewhere and it seems the demand is in Miami so it forces prices to be lowered. Even so, these women deserve the same courtesy and respect as they again are TRUSTING your business and staff with their lives and that is a privilege that shouldn't be looked upon lightly!!! Instead be grateful let it be known through excellent customer service to your clients. If you give good service, you don't have to be money hungry or be in a rush....you'll have steady money all the time because your service is considered good!! People can respect that and will wait if needed to get quality service. I would. I don't think Mia is the place for me anymore to consider for my surgery at this point. I would hate to travel from Seattle Washington and get treated like a second-class citizen; that would be the worst to me. I think Mia needs to roll out some new protocols for your customers that they can hold Mia accountable and expect from you. Wow I don't know where all these crazy ratings came from. It's insane... Anyways, here's my experience. I got my surgery with Dr. Charepoo in spring of 2019. I received a great level of care once I was there! I live in New York. So I'm used to doctors just being extremely busy when I called in to get more information. As far as I was concerned my consultation was completed and any other underlying questions or details would have to be spoken with the doctor anyways. Because no front desk agent would even be able to provide you with the answers your seeking. So, when I got there I was eager to ask all the questions I had on my mind. I wanted to go big or go home kind of mentality. We sat down (yes me and the doctor) and he answered all of my questions straight away. He actually informed me that I can't go as big as I'd like because of my skin elasticity. There was so many questions he asked me in return about my after care and if I would be receiving it in house etc. anyways, the procedure went well. When I woke up Dr. Charepoo walked right up to me and ensured I was okay. He even apologized because he wasn't able to go bigger as I wanted. I've always been scared of having surgeries so it was very nice to feel safe and secure. He insisted I received in house care, but because I'm stubborn and paid for this really nice air BNB on biscayne loft apartments I chose to stay there. Lol That might've not have been the best thing for me. Because in the middle of the night I went to grab a drink of water I felt a very subtle discomfort in my left boob. Next thing I know I wake up in the morning and bam. Blood pouring down and my left girl was engorged and in danger! So I rushed over to the hospital where he gave me that kinda look like girrrrl ! What the hell were you thinking! Although that's not what he said lol. Anyways he took very good care of me again. And politely told me to take it easy. I know this was a lot to read. But I also know how important it is to make a life changing decision. With only reviews and pictures and all that jazz to go off of; it can leave you feeling discouraged. So my only advise to you is go with what you see fit. Because everyone is different and they may or may not tell you what they did wrong in their experience. And even the most prestigious hospitals and doctors have really bad days! Best of luck!! read more

MIA: Dr Bowker. Tummy Tuck, MR and lipo... After surgery I woke up crying and they told me to stop crying, injected me with a pain med and took me out the front door into the car of my recovery home. They told me med directions were in my bag. I have yet to know hear back about what I was given and was in extreme pain trying to contact them to find out if it was safe for me to begin pain meds. Nothing explained, nothing shown, medication directions not given, no exparel shot. No answer from clinic for one hour about pain meds and no call in 24 hrs for muscle relaxer prescription and had to call 5x. Nobody could reach the clinic. First preop appt no nurse in office to help me get into wheelchair, wasn't signed in waited in waiting room crying in pain til they realized I hadn't been seen and was at the office first. Got to the back and man yelled if I was in pain there's no massage- have me see the nurse and get me out of here, yelling so rude and told me I was allergic to Percocet once he realized I spoke Spanish. His name is Elijio. Same man was In the hall telling someone he'd fire her if she didnt do something and she said that's crazy she only been here for two weeks. Tylenol 1000 and Motrin 800 every three hours nurse told me to alternate and would call in muscle relaxers. Called postop. No call back 24 hours. Called back after 24 hrs and was told there was never any notes about being contacted for a prescription. I've been unable to stand to even use the bathroom without wanting to fall. Every muscle hurts and I feel every bit of pain in my abs and incision area. They have yet to call me back but asked me who I spoke to. read more

I had a consultation in April with Dr.Palladino and decided to schedule surgery with him. I gave a down payment to secure my surgery date. Well, Dr.Palladino left Mia Aesthetics and they never made an attempt to notify me. I found out he had left, but not through their office. It was posted on social media. I requested a refund, as the doctor I had chosen left their office. I have been emailing and calling regarding my deposit refund and they kept insisting they would hold on to it and schedule a new consultation with a different doctor there. I reluctantly scheduled another consultation, but I decided not to go. They didn't contact me at all. When I finally got in touch with someone at their office weeks later, I was told that I would receive a partial refund of my deposit because on page 2 somewhere in tiny print it says "Under no circumstances do they issue full refunds" or something to the effect. So I am to forfeit 10% of my deposit because "under no circumstances"... It is the office's responsibility to fully refund customers whose surgeries are cancelled due to the doctor leaving the practice. It is ridiculously insane. Customer service and professionalism are non existent. This office is a joke. They are only communicative while they get some money out of you. Afterwards, they ignore your calls and requests for basically everything. Consultations are free here. But even those are not worth it, as the staff and doctors tend to dismiss your concerns and sell you on what they want. It's a terrible place all around. If I could give it -100 stars, I totally would. The staff at this office is incompetent. Today is October 28, 2019. I have received many different reasons/excuses as to why Mia Aesthetics cannot/will not refund the deposit I paid at this point. Mia aesthetics has had my money for over 6 months now and ignored the majority of my attempts to contact them. Basia Pérez, the person who is/was in charge of informing patients of Dr.Palladino's departure sent me an email offering me 10% of my refund. When I responded with a copy of their payment receipts detailing the correct amount, she stopped responding, at least a month ago. At this point, I feel my only recourse to get my money back is to take this up in Small Claims Court here in Miami-Dade County. It is really quite sad that any business such as this or any would be so unprofessional and keep my deposit when the issue arose on their end, not mine. AIMEE BARAHONA.... my surgical coordinator from Mia Aesthetics is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! She is super fast at responding to any questions I have as we prepare me for my surgery. She's very friendly and talks to me as if we've known each other forever and I love that. I was scheduled somewhere else to have my surgery done and I'm soooooo happy I switched to Mia. The other place barely responded to any questions I had & when I did talk to someone they sounded as if it was a bother to them that I was asking questions. Not with Aimee... she makes me feel very comfortable when needing to speak to her. I can't say enough how amazing she is. Surgery scheduled for November 16th ABSOLUTELY CAN NOT WAIT and I'm sure I'll have many questions for her ... lol. I inquired about a procedure with Dr Mehio. I was contacted by LAURA MARINO. I requested an appointment and was convinced that the fastest way to proceed is to send pictures of my body naked (all angles) and I can crop my face that it would be 4 months to schedule an appt without sending naked pics. After debating I decided NOT to send naked pictures simply because I am not comfortable with it. I am very private person and rather be seen in person even if it takes 4 months and if I hire them then I will submit to pictures of my naked body being taken. The story changed! Laura went from "sending pics makes this fast and easy" to now "No pictures = no appointment." Listen Laura, Ill take my 14k cash elsewhere no problem. There are too many competitors out there to make such strict demands! How can you force me to send naked pics prior to even hiring you or meeting any staff? Coming from a facility that carries a horrible death on their record its a bit too much. Absurd. Unheard of. I hope my review inspires others not to be manipulated by demands of others. If it doesn't feel right then walk way. I would like to add that Dr Mehio is an amazing surgeon and I would still consider him in the future if he ever practices outside of MIA aesthetics. read more

MIA AESTHETICS LOCATED 9300 sw. 72nd street Miami, Fl. With DR. LAUREN WRIGHT. is most unprofessional center I have ever encountered. Staff is rude, the doctor is rude, the entire office and system is inconsistent. Flew all the way to Miami for surgery, original date was June 5th... got a call 1 month ago to change to the 8th, a week before the 8th I got a call to change to the 7th. Flew all the way there, did preop on the 6th, went and got nails taken off as recommended, sat in my PAID hotel room and anxiously waiting for the next day to arrive. That morning at 11:30am I get a call from the MIA asthetics surgery center asking for me to come in at 12:30 instead. I told them I couldn't because the recovery lady I paid to help me afterwards was not picking me up until 12:30 and she couldn't come earlier because she has other clients. They said fine. 10 mins later ANOTHER asthetics staff called and asked me the same dam thing and I told her the same response, she said ok go ahead and keep your 1:30. I get picked up, dropped off, the staff checked me in and I'm sitting in lobby waiting for over an hr, remind you, she needed me to come early, yet when I got there 25 mins early for my appt, I still had to wait. 25 more mins pass and the office manager called me back, I'm thinking "ok it's time". These bitches called me back to tell me Dr. Wright said she told me to come at 12:30 and I didn't. I explained to her that I wasn't TOLD but ASKED. These people looked me in the pupils of my eye and lies and said my appt was at 12:30pm when I have my tangible email in hand showing her my appt at 1:30pm. She said Dr. wright is no longer interested in doing my surgery. Now because my plane ticket was for a week, how else was I going to get home. These people refused to refund me my money on a procedure they never did. The entire staff is so sweet at the beginning, but they are the worse. Full of lies and deceit and I professionalism. It I'm contacting legal help soon as I get back home. I had to pay for a rental and drive 10 hrs home with no refund from there, room or recovery lady (which she did give me a credit, recovery lady was great. I didn't bother her for refund because she actually did what she was suppose to do minus having to care for a post op patient. I had a tummy tuck with lipo at Mia Aesthetics, April 2018 by Dr. Alvarez. I do agree with some reviewers who said they didn't talk to the doctor until the day before as this was my case. However, the staff there constantly answered my emails and questions, were very friendly and helpful and I plan to go back this year for a breast lift. I would definitely recommend Mia Aesthetics. Not even one star!!! This place only cares about your $$ and not the patient !! I answered the first 3 emails (not one phone call until I was upset and let it be known ) . Look at all of the negative reviews !! Google the story about a young lady that was severely abused by a staff member who aren't even real nurses! She was abused ( allegedly because she didn't understand spanish) , went to the hospital and almost bled to death do to their negligence . Half of the doctors are NOT even board certified doctors and you are putting your life in their hands! A woman also died there!!! Just extremely rude staff and scary details.
