Called him back and he blamed it on the toilet which he said was a great toilet the previous visit. I suppose if he blames it on the toilet, he does not need to come back unless he gets paid for changing it. Not good. The supply line in the kitchen he cleared, the faucet has a lower flow then before the debris entered the line from work being done. The flow improved but not to the original flow rate. Instead of removing the cartridge in the faucet and flushing out the debris, he recommended replacing the faucet. He looks for opportunity to maximize his charge instead of the best solution. Double not good. Aug 4, 2025 update I got someone else to come by. He removed the toilet and cleared the line. Problem solved. He also removed and flushed out the kitchen faucet valve and restored the water flow to same as hot water. So it is not hard water build up. In other words, he came in and finished the job that Shawn started but did not complete. The zinger is, he charged 1/3 less than Shawn.

I won't name their name but after fast inital reponse - nada. So I called my goto plumbers. We went out and bought a replacement water heater from Ferguson (check out my review for them - awesome). My wife and I dollied and manipulated all 137lbs of that bad boy into the garage. Edgar was my tech from Magnificent (He thought it was a "check" vs. "replace"). This could have been a disaster because we are now at New Year's Eve. They typically only do commercial water heater replacement but calls his boss, gets the gren light and because we are loyal customers, discounts the service cost. He tells me he can do it, calls to re-arrange some family plans and just makes it happen! At the end, he noticed a pipe with some carbon monoxide venting which he also fixed. Indeed, my shower parts needed replacing but they also determined that the leaking from the ceiling in the garage was from a water heater pipe spraying water on the ceiling making it look like that. I noticed yesterday (Saturday) there was a very slow drip. I placed a bin underneath went to sleep woke up and it was partially full. I called Roto because I needed the service today and not tomorrow. I was scheduled for today within a 2-hour window for my zip code. Guy, the technician, was great. He quoted me a price, went to get the cartridge that needed to be replaced and returned quickly. I also had a water restoration technician, Rolan, come out as well. I explained the water leak that had occurred from the drip down to the other unit was going to be taken care of by that owner and I would just pay for the materials. He provided information regarding condo insurance and what his work would cover. Guy showed me where my water turn off was located. He completed the work within 20 minutes. He went over the warranty for labor and not the part because Roto-Rooter didn't provide the part. He said the company would be willing to work with me in case there's a future issue by discounting the labor. I found a coupon on their app which he honored as well. This is my first time using this company and I am satisfied. I highly recommend from the initial call to the professionalism of the technicians. I got text updates as well. (should u choose that option) I'm going to look into their annual plan of $249 which would cover any future visits if needed. Parts may not be included, though labor appears to be. Cheers!

They said I would get the wand attached after the they were done but they did not. They told us there was 1 part that cost $20 and that was all they needed to use. I only have one bathroom. Fortunately I use a washlet so I was able to wait until Wednesday. Alligator Plumbing couldn't come out for two weeks and referred me to Amigo, for which I am eternally grateful. Junior's day was booked but he and his nephew came out around 5:30. He told me very clearly what the options were to check things out and what the cost would be . Unfortunately, when they dug into the clean out it was one way and they had to take out the toilet. Junior tried to snake the toilet but the pipe was angled in a funny way and they couldn't get through. So they had to dig and find where the pipe went into the house. By then it was dark and Junior said he was going to make sure I had a working toilet before he left and he could come back Friday or Saturday to finish the job. They worked until 10 PM. He explained everything he was doing and showed me what he was doing and spoke to me like an intelligent person which, as an older woman, doesn't always happen. I paid him for the night. They returned Friday, put in a two way clean out and you can't even tell they were digging outside and they were digging really deep. In any case everything is working but I got stuck on Zelle payments because of my restrictions for how much I could send during the week. I still owe him money and he is waiting until next Wednesday night when I can send the rest. As someone else said, whoever does that anymore? I have been looking for a good plumber for years and I am looking no more. I highly recommend Amigo. Oh and list I forget, this was all due to an N95 mask getting flushed down the toilet.
