I don't get down to Maple Valley much, but had to check this place out when I drove by today. Glad I did! Nice and cozy spot that I'm sure I would visit often if I lived closer. I didn't catch the beertenders name, but she was so fun and happy it brought a smile to my face right away. A great variety of good beers on tap, in cans, and bottles. They have a permanent on-site food truck, Burger Buds". I wasn't hungry so I didn't try that, but the burgers looked very good. Interior and the covered deck were very clean and nice. Looks like they have a cornhole tournament every month, and trivia on Tuesday's and they have frequent brewers nights. 5 TV screens to watch sports. A fun spot with great people, great staff, and that is very clean and nice. What's not to like about this place! read more

This tap room is absolutely AMAZING! There are so many great options to choose from, with a fantastic selection of beers at a variety of price points. They have something for everyone ! Even non alcoholic beers. The also have small bites. The beer servers are always pleasant and incredibly knowledgeable, helping you find the perfect brew every time. I also love the cozy atmosphere !! it is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a drink. They even have a couple of games to play, which adds now fun and relaxing ! The tunes playing in the background create the perfect vibe, and the venue is always clean and well-maintained. Side note: I love the Coffee Stout ! HOLY HOPOCALYPSE! Let me tell you about Imbibe Bottle House, where Gary the Hop Ghost maintains order and Gary Busey... well, does whatever Gary Busey wants. So picture this: I'm watching Gary the Hop Ghost perform his usual Tuesday night ritual of rearranging the molecular structure of a double IPA when suddenly, through the slightly ajar back room door, I spot THE Gary Busey, shirtless, performing what can only be described as an interpretive rain dance using empty beer bottles as maracas. His dance partner? A stuffed moose head that I'm pretty sure was winking at me. The bartender (still strictly communicating through interprative dance) claims Busey has been there since 1997, when he wandered in looking for his motorcycle and found his "spiritual beer center" instead. Now he emerges from the back room at random intervals to challenge the psychic penguins to motorcycle races on invisible bikes. The penguins always win, but Busey insists it's because they're "aerodynamically gifted." Gary the Hop Ghost and Busey have formed an unlikely friendship. They co-host a weekly séance where they attempt to contact the spirits of discontinued craft beers. Last week, they successfully channeled a long-lost gruit ale from the 1300s, but all it did was scream in Medieval Latin about the proper temperature for herb infusion. The tension peaked when Busey tried to teach the sentient pretzel union how to method act. The pretzels got so deep into character as artisanal sourdough that they refused to be served with anything less than a wild-fermented spontaneously-aged lambic. Gary the Hop Ghost had to intervene before things got too crusty. Now you'll occasionally catch both Garys in the back room - one floating, one gyrating - debating the metaphysical implications of dry-hopping while the psychic penguins provide smooth jazz accompaniment. The security cameras catch none of this, but somehow all the footage comes out in perfect iambic pentameter. Five stars? The rating system transcended numerical value the moment Busey started using hop bines as dental floss. I've already pledged my firstborn to the Gary & Gary School of Metaphysical Brewing Arts. P.S. If you hear maniacal laughter followed by the sound of spontaneous fermentation, that's just Busey teaching Gary the Hop Ghost how to "laugh with your beer chakras open." The local exorcist has them on speed dial. P.P.S. The bathroom hand dryer still blows pure nitrogen, but now it also plays recordings of Busey reciting the complete history of fermentation in what he claims is "ancient Sumerian" but sounds suspiciously like pig Latin. read more

Little odd right next to the gas station but the building itself inside is great and it doesn't take from the ambiance inside or even on the patio. Imbibe is our favorite local bar. There's a great selection of drinks, both in the case and on tap. There's always something new and interesting to try while also having favorite mainstays. For food, they have a few light bites at the bar (chips, pretzels, etc), but they also partner with a burger stand outside. They used to have a calendar of rotating food trucks, and we do miss the variety of options. That's our one complaint, though we understand that it's nice for management to have consistency. Service is always great and the beer tenders are friendly, personable, and willing to give suggestions or small tastes to help you make up your mind. Whenever we go, the beer tenders know our names, even if we haven't been there in a while. The vibes are also exactly what you want from a neighborhood taproom. This is no dive bar, but neither is it pretentious. Even on busy nights, it never feels overwhelmingly crowded, stuffy, or loud, largely because the beer tenders keep things moving but also because the crowd that comes to Imbibe is down-to-earth and friendly. That's clear on Tuesdays at trivia night, where teams are competitive but always good-naturedly so. We've tried several different places for trivia, and Imbibe's is hands-down the best. I was excited to try this place because I heard that it was nice, had great reviews and that the staff was knowledgeable about their product. I was disappointed to say the least. Don't get me wrong.... The place is beautiful! The lighting, furniture, and ambience was perfect! It was the selection of beer that I was bothered by.... That there wasn't one beer that fit my criteria of good beers on tap. I prefer a dark, bitter, traditional IPA. I don't like the lemony session IPA's. India Pale Ales make up 40% of the beer market in America. And while the sessions are very popular many of us prefer the darker more traditional IPA's. I have owned and managed many locations that serve alcohol. Why a place like this doesn't have at least 40% of their taps filled with IPA's and featuring at least 2 to 3 traditional darker IPA's I don't understand. The server was as disappointed as I was that she did have anything to offer me on tap. She greeted me with a smile and tried her best. I hope they fix this problem. I would spend money there every week if they had a product that I enjoyed. read more

They often have offbeat things on tap to try, and of you don't like the options they have on tap their are fridges helpfully labeled--easy for me to find the cider & wine sections as a non-beer drinker. Often they have fun events that include brewers nights, trivia nights and Corn Hole tournaments. It's a really fun place to chill alone or meet up with friends. The service is perfect! I absolutely love this place! First off, brewers nights are just the coolest. If you like trying new beers it's a fun way to do it. Especially visiting with the actual brewers is a fun experience. They are always super friendly and not bothered by my million questions. Secondly, the food trucks have been nothing short of fantastic. The Alaskan Scallop truck, the pizza truck and the jambalaya truck were some of my favorites! The staff is always so relaxed and kind even when they are slammed, and never too busy to make sure you get your loyalty points if your a regular, which is an awesome program by the way. Great rotation of beers that feels ever changing, I always get a sampler but I don't think I'll ever try them all. The new outdoor space looks awesome. Lots of seating. We visited on a Saturday afternoon and the staff was just kind of standing around talking to each other about being excited to get off and go out that night. There wasn't much customer interaction at all, which I thought was strange, given that they were standing in front of their guests. We each drank about half of our beer and left. We came here after a hike on a Saturday afternoon. We got there as soon as they opened. They have a ton of different beers! Pretty small place, but ambiance is great. I ordered The Med salad... says it's suppose to be romaine lettuce but it was a spring mix which I didn't mind at all. The salad was good, but the greens were wilted. My friends each ordered a panini and loved it. Food is very limited, and apparently you can bring in your own food? The place started to fill up pretty fast. Poor selection of wine. Didn't have any chardonnay. Place is clean, with a below average selection of beer for a place like that. Evidently, you have to know the bar tender and be regular to get good service. Not "epic fail," but close. read more

Being from South Florida, the beer bars I am used to are much different, and it was nice to visit a modern, classy bar with an up scale feel and local vibe. Upon walking in, you notice a large bar to the right with seating, multiple tables to the left, and a lounge area in the back. The walls are lined with beer coolers, which has are broken down by beer style. Being a fan of sours and porters, I was very happy with the local selection of beers I had never tried. They also have a large draft selection with a current tap list above the bar. There were multiple people at the bar that seemed to be regulars, which shows me the staff is friendly and the service is good. When you can find a local place with a great beer list, rotating food options, and a good group people, it quickly becomes your favorite hangout. If I was a local, this would be mine. read more

Pricing needs to come down to earth a little like 6.50 to 7 for their top tier selections which is more in line right now in the area. Wow - such a great place to try tons of beers! Outside seating is great even if it overlooks the gas station and busy road. Dogs are allowed on the patio. Inside is cozy and fun. Tons of taps to try plus cases of different bottled beer. They have some wines but I was there for the beer. There are a few small food items you can order. Nothing fancy about them but good snacks when you are having drinks with friends. Staff was nice and knew the beers. You do have to go inside to order (no outside service at least the day I was there). Great prices for the quality of beers they serve. read more

We have dropped in several times after a bike ride on the trail or walk with the dog. They welcomed our puppy on a leash even though she chewed thru it-and broke free! The locals are friendly and frequent regulars. There are some comfy couches seats in back, high tables and outdoor stools. They sell canned or beers and ciders on tap. You can view the selection on the Untapped app. We also liked to swing by to fill our growlers. My go to beers are pale ales, reds, ambers or kolsch and my husband prefers IPAs. It seems difficult to find a beer that fits our preferences and feel they cater to fruity, lighter and small batch brewers rather than any established beers. Food is usually available from a food truck outside and varies daily. The do offer some snacks like pretzels and cheese and crackers. We quit going because the staff changed often and the servers didn't seem to know much about beer. read more
