Great drinks but a tad pricey! $10 for a hard seltzer seemed quite high to me. It was tasty and I'd love to enjoy another if the price came down to $6-$7. But they have Excellent flatbread and definitely worth the $10 price tag. My plate looked so good, 2 other customers ordered pesto flatbread after seeing mine. Service is great! Nothing I have eaten has been anything but delicious! Tables are clean and the atmosphere is warm and inviting.

Coffee in the morning, wine in the evening. It's the perfect combination to do your work and then begin the rest of your night with a glass of wine. I came here on a Friday morning because I saw that they had a lot of tables and free wifi. This place is in a large plaza so there is a parking lot right outside although some of the parking right out front might be taken by the other businesses next door. I ordered their 16oz latte ($4.25) which was good. They also have tea, regular smoothies, and blended smoothies which is coffee mixed with ice cream which is an interesting combination to me (they also have yogurt for a healthier alternative). Although there was a good food menu and an open, quiet environment with plenty of seating, the price for a small coffee was $3.50. Came here for happy hour on Saturday. It's a cute place and not busy at all so the place is nice. They have a small selection of wines and we ordered two different Cabernet Sauvignon to try. I think these were the worst wine I ever had. We just took a sip from each glass and it was terrible. We couldn't drink more. As they didn't have any other option in the menu, we didn't bother to complain. I don't know about their coffee or food but at least they should just stop serving wine or change the menu. read more

Well....that was shot down REAL quick with literally the first acknowledgment at the corner where the woman (the one everyone else previously described her description, you know the one) was just so rude & the customer service WAS that bad...besides the person, the establishment was different. I've come several times to hear people play music which is fantastic in this small town. Where else do we hear live music in Maple Valley? It's kind of small for quartets and quintets, but if you bring your "outside voice" you can communicate. ;-) I love their performers like the EW Buck Quartet and Paul Johnson, guitar master! Their hot chocolate is good. They hand it to us in a paper to-go cup, so it doesn't feel like the non-wine drinkers are as special. :-) When I ordered a salad, it was merely slices of tomatoes with motzerella and basil on top. I hadn't been in a long time and wasn't impressed when I came in years ago, but thought I'd give it a shot for coffee. I was not disappointed! I came here for a meeting and can't say I had the best experience here, unfortunately. Anytime I'm in Maple Valley for coffee meetings I like to visit Vintage Vino and Espresso because it has that great community setting and supports a local business. But in my most recent visit here, the barista was not very friendly. When I asked the barista if there were sugar-free syrups, all she said was yes then turned around to make other drinks (there's a drive-thru here). So when I made eye contact with her again I asked her what kind of sugar-free syrups she had, to which she replied with "lots" and then proceeded again to turn her back on me and make drinks and clean up the counter. So when I asked her about a February special, the Red Velvet Latte, I asked her if this drink could be made as a sugar-free option with unsweetened milk, and she said no. Well, I guess if she had conversed with me more then I would've been able to figure out my order, since it was like pulling teeth with her. So much so that my friend who I was meeting with turned to me after the barista again turned her back on us and gave me a look that was like, WTF? Horrible service. It was clear that she was so disinterested in helping us. After actually getting her to pay attention to us I ended up getting a February special, the Bunk Mocha, made with sugar-free chocolate and white chocolate with unsweetened almond milk, which wasn't the best. There was too much milk, so tasted mostly of almond versus the chocolate flavors. Fortunately, the drinks are pretty affordable here, even with customized items and such. I only paid about $3.50 for mine for a 20oz., but was still disappointed in my visit here. Hopefully when I return I'll have a much better experience with a barista who actually wants to help customers. read more

I went through the drive-thru and got a Redbull italian soda and a bagel with cream cheese. Both were very good! Not too much Ice in my drink, and they had both sugar-free and regular Redbulls to choose from which I always appreciate. As simple as a bagel is, you would be surprised at how many places screw it up. The bagel I got here was delicious and only a couple of dollars! Some places charge upwards of $6 for a bagel. The girl working there was very friendly and quick to get everything out to me. I really wish I had time to go inside, the place looked very cute and inviting. I also saw that they host events. There is a painting event coming up that looked super fun! My only "complaint" is that I live an hour away. I was only down there for a vet appointment. I was in the area and it's warmer out so decided to get an iced coffee. I ordered and paid for a 16oz iced mocha. She was talking to me and through her drive through bead piece at the same time. I received my coffee which was in a 12oz cup. I said I think this is wrong. "Nope" that's correct. But I I ordered a 16oz drink. Again she said it was correct. It said it was a 12oz on the bottom of the cup. I again tried to explain my order was wrong. She started to again talk to someone in the drive through. And turned her back on me. It's to bad the customer service has gotten so bad here because the coffee is actually quite fantastic. This a great surprise in Maple Valley; an espresso and wine bar. We meet the girls here for coffee every Monday morning, this is my first time to really notice the non coffee side.. Nice promotions of regional Washington and Oregon local wines on the less know names and very pricey. Happy Hour is the best time to visit a new restaurant and see the heart. It's MapleValley Casual is the rule, Nicky laid out in little store front. Like the fire place and displayed local art, the baristas where bright and very pleasant. I started with a glass of a Zonin Prosecco. Next a Pretzel with excellent cheesy dip(not sure which cheese, but more than just cheddar) and the tasty Spanish Marcona Almonds too. I would have like to had a sea salt grinder to dust both of these dishes. My husband is on his 16 day of his total30 diet, but it did not slow me down. We will come back for other choices. read more

For the last couple of weeks my friend and I have gone to this shop to study! They have the best coffee!! However, if you don't like drinks too sweet always double check the amount of pumps before. The atmosphere is so calm and relaxed, I personally loved it for studying or even to just catch up with a friend! They do have live music Saturday night so if you're into that definitely check it out! Last time I went I got a blended drink that was called "corky cookie" it has white coffee, white mocha, Oreo and I got it without peanut butter and it was soooo good! I've come here a few times now and absolutely love it! I'm a sucker for a good chai tea latte with oat milk and they make a great one! Great wine selection and their caprese salad is fresh and tasty! Plenty of outlets for those needing to do work. It's casual yet classy-the fireplace is amazing in cold weather. The barista/wine connoisseur behind the counter is friendly and helpful. Local artists have their paintings and other artistic work for sale on the walls. It's so nice to admire the work of such talented locals! I have been for coffee and now wine, this place does both well. They have a small beer selection and a decent selection. Not the largest for a wine bar but amazing place. Come in with an open mind and choose one of the lovely wines on their menu. The staff is always friendly and smiling. Very attentive and they made sure to keep the water coming, which I appreciate! They also have some small bites, we did the cheese plate and shared it between 4 people and we all enjoyed the plate to snack while we had a glass of wine. This review is for the owner(s) in hopes customer service will become a priority. The good: relaxing environment, fairly good selection of beverages and food. The bad: Service. Unengaged, unapologetic yet seemingly nice waitstaff. I stopped in for a quick bite, glass of wine and an hour of work time. Instead, I was forced to "self-serve" at the counter 4x in a hour. First, to request service when there was only 8 other people there all of which had been served. Second, to ask for the beverage I had ordered and this was after my food was served. Third, to request my check and lastly, to pay my bill. In addition, I ordered bruschetta and five minutes later was told that they had shut down the oven since it took so long for the oven to cool down. It was 8:15 pm and wondered what oven would take hours to cool down. Since this ruled out half the menu, I asked if they could do a half cheese, half meat plate vs either a meat or cheese plate. When I got the bill, I discovered combing was 30% more than the cost of one or the other. That detail was never mentioned. So I paid a premium price for something I didn't even really want (remember I wanted the bruschetta) and was never informed it would be an up charge. When I went to the counter to pay my bill, the server was sitting in the back on a stool on her phone. At that point, with a $38 bill in hand for a glass of white wine and a meat and cheese tray, I told her, "I can not tip you due to the service." Her response was not to apologize but to tell me it was ok that I didn't tip her. Please, please train your staff to care about the customer! read more

First impressions is a 4 star, having come in for early morning (6am) coffee (which they were open in the lobby- (Sawyers Village Ristrettos café lobby was closed until 7am !!) ... so this is a real plus. My double shot latte was average range, coffee beans were dark roasted and brewed a little bitter-- baked good, a cinnamon scone was perfectly balanced between sweetness and crispiness, and the plain bagel with cream cheese was fresh. Their coffee is GREAT, and their drink options are WAY better! I've always received quick and friendly service, and praise God for a coffee place open later than 6pm!! My wife and I love wine bars and we live in this area, so we had high hopes for this establishment. It had a pleasant atmosphere and the two female employees were nice, but that wasn't enough. We like to share our plates so a flatbread and salad would be great, but no salads - their menu is sparce. We love red wine and dark beer, but the only beer was in cans and the wine is pricey. We ordered their least expensive Malbec, no food, and it was good. When I went to pay that's when things took a nose dive - I was overcharged. I explained that two $9 glasses of wine at Happy Hour prices should be $6 times two plus tax. It became obvious that the owner didn't sync the menu prices with the cash register so I asked her to do an override which she did. Had I not calculated the final bill ahead of time I may have paid their higher tab. We won't be returning. read more

I love this cute little boutique coffee and wine shop! The staff was so friendly and nice. Brought out waters without us asking! Good selection of coffee/tea drinks, beer and wine. After a Google search, myself and some friends decided give this place a try after a wedding just after 10 PM on May 27th, 2017. The sign and site both say 11 PM closing, but out of courtesy, I ask, "are y'all open until eleven?" We receive a dirty look and a response of, "I guess we are now." Being the snoops we are, it became obvious that it was not a busy night, and the young lady did later reveal that her co-worker left early because of a badly cut hand, and they decided to soft close early. Ouch. Both to the hand and to their new star rating. If you have a valid reason to close early, be kind and honest about it. The customer will almost* always understand. We received the worst initial customer service I've ever experienced, and it really didn't have to be that way. I've had to change my review from the previous five stars due to several bad experiences I've recently had. The coffee is still great but the service has been majorly lacking. Whenever the owner is there, we are stoked because she is incredibly sweet and helpful. The rest of the staff? nada. The last four times we've been in there we've been greeted with a sour, grimace smile and a bad attitude. We usually go in the evening and every recent time, staff members look so put out to have people there once the sun goes down. I live in a neighborhood within walking distance and this place is awesome! I got here often for my morning coffee - the almond milk caramel macchiatos are the best in the drive-through, and their wine is all local, which is pretty amazing. Their happy hour is from 2-6 and while I have gone at other times, their wine is expensive and it's half off of all pours. Their stuffed mushrooms, baked camembert and parm flatbreads were delicious. I haven't been to any of their events, but they sound fun. Last night they had a painting and wine party, but since I had family in town I couldn't attend. We decided to go over in the last 30 minutes before closing to grab a glass of wine and the owner, Shannon, let us stay late while she cleaned to finish up another bottle. It was very sweet. The ONLY drawback to this place is that sometimes the service is a little off. There is one girl who has RBF and you tend to feel like it's an inconvenience. On some Saturday and Sunday mornings, when it's not raining much, I join my boyfriend and dog on their morning walk. Stopping at Vino has become tradition for us on those mornings.
