I've worked with IMG before and it has been fine. I recently took in a necklace to be repaired - only the clasp had to be fixed yet my necklace came back 1/2 inch shorter. I've had that necklace for years and I knew right away that it didn't fit right. The associate said I must have just forgot what it felt like. When I got home and measured it, yep 19.5 inches and when I took it in, it was a 20 inch chain. They said they only touched the clasp. I should have measured and taken pictures of the necklace on the drop off. Ugh. I should always keep a tape measure in my bag. read more

I visited IMG today, to sell my wedding ring back to them, that they made in 1989, the band at the time was $800, I had the diamonds they used for the band. In 2005, I upgraded the large diamond to a marquise at the cost of $9000. In 2005. I have an appraisal from IMG indicating the ring was worth $14,000. Today, when I attempted to sell the ring back, I was given an outrageous offer of ONLY $1800. This jewelry store are nothing better than thieves. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER ITEM FROM THIS STORE! I have been a IMG fan for several years. Ernie is a great guy and will work with anyone to make them happy. This is a no pressure jewelry store. They cater to high end buyers but treat us small buyers very well. No matter what your $$ allow, IMG has something. We bought some earrings for wifey that were so unique that she has to give Ernie's card all the time. I am headed in soon to get some diamonds re-set and looking for a center stone for a 3 diamond band I am building. I know they will beat or meet any deal in town. As a last note, I would like to add that they stand behind anything they sell. We have a lot of white gold that needs "dipped" occasionally. I recently visited IMG to have my wife wedding ring repaired. I was greeted by Linda the sales and service rep. She was very polite, knowledgeable and personable as she went over the process. I was interested in upgrading the diamond and Linda was very helpful helping me to choose a quality diamond that was within my budget. I decided not only to upgrade the diamond, I upgraded to another ring. IMG is known for their customized pieces and the ring I purchased for my wife she loves it!!! IMG was one of the places we checked out when shopping for my husband and I's wedding bands. This was 1 of 2 jewelry stores we really loved. The salesman we worked with was incredibly helpful and very nice. I was able to quickly find a wedding band that matched perfectly with my engagement ring. The price was great too for the top quality diamonds we had put into the settings. They also had some very classy and stylish mens wedding bands that were specially crafted and were very unique. My husband was more picky than me when trying out rings and was very difficult to please. We loved a few pieces here but he ended up choosing a band somewhere else because he likes the tungsten metal rings and liked a specific design on a particular band at another store. My ring was custom ordered, and when it came in it was too snug but they were able to resize it and get it back to me within the week. Overall great selection and customer service. read more

Ernie expressed zero pressure at any stage of my search and was very professional throughout. He e-mailed me different pictures based upon what we discussed and the different things that I had liked on the rings that they had in their cases onsite. Ernie went ahead and ordered the two rings I expressed interest in before I had even committed to purchasing through IMG. I dropped an heirloom set off for them to resize and it was ready FAR sooner than I had expected. When I returned to pick them up, he had already received in the set that I expressed interest. Ernie was very knowledgeable of the process and informed me of the different things for me to think about throughout. When I settled on the pairing of my choice, IMG again exceeded my expectations on price and anticipated complete by date.
