Invited by bartender Ana to check out Immigrant Food (Planet Word), I was curious to experience it for the first time. I'm so glad she did. From the moment my partner and I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, friendly, lively, upbeat, and inclusive. We ordered the Greek Wings, The Cheeseburger, and Huevos Rancheros. The Greek Wings were hot, crispy, meaty, and savory. The Cheeseburger was a classic done well, topped with American cheese on a toasted sesame brioche bun and served with crispy Belgian fries. The Huevos Rancheros featured eggs, Mexican chorizo, tortillas, refried black beans, salsa, guacamole, pico de gallo, and fresh garnishes. He said it was hearty, colorful, and packed with flavor. Thank you, Ana, for the recommendation and warm welcome. Between the inviting atmosphere, friendly service, and delicious food, my first visit was a memorable one. I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu.

TLDR: A spectacular experience at lunch and then again amazing at HH. Visited with coworkers for lunch today and the food was delicious (hence the half eaten photos lol), servers were kind, the decor was nice, and we were accommodated with no reservation at 11:45 for a party of 5. The lunch menu is solid and everyone loved their food (wings, fries, falafel, poke bowl) After such a good experience at lunch I circled back with friends for happy hour and the menu and bartenders were EPIC. I was so impressed by the drinks even when I went off menu for an extra spicy mezcal margarita. Will be back!

It is cool that at every Immigrant Food vendor, they have a (somewhat) different menu. I ended up getting pupusas to go. Although they were not anything special, I still enjoyed my order.

We enjoyed everything about our visit. The staff were funny and friendly while still being professional pros. The dim sum was delicious. My bao bun tasted like a fusion of Asian, Indian and Mexican. Highly recommend. The bartenders Israel and Ana made our stop feel special and happy that we dined there. Try them out. The restaurant is right next to Plant Word Museum. The ambiance is really nice and the food was fresh, diverse, and healthy. The Mumbai Mariachi a tangy salad with crispy falafel. While it was good, it wasn't that flavorful. The Pineapple Matcha was refreshing. The Belgium Truffle Fries were definitely the highlight of the meal! Note the restaurant has a default Wellness Charge of 5%. When we inquired about it and asked to be removed, the charge was promptly removed.

Finally had a chance to check out this place after hearing so much about it from friends and colleagues! The ambiance is truly international, both modern and also chic! The service is immaculate! Very upbeat, and I was both greeted and seated promptly upon walking into the establishment. I ordered an Old Saigon (Vietnamese style Bahn Mi sandwich), with a side of french fries! Yum! I must truly say that everything was fresh and delicious! What a nice treat!

Tried out their restaurant week lunch menu. Has some of their best choices on there except the dessert was only cookies. The food per usual was very good and fresh. They open on the weekday at 11:30 and the Rezi reservation system did not allow 1130 reservations but 1145 reservations was able to go early and get seated despite reserving for later time. Continue to have a good experience and will come back.

Random stop, but an absolute great stop. Came during happy hour and it'll save you a couple dollars, but not much. Honestly, everything is just a good perfect bite! Good fries, good drinks, and a perfect stop before a night out or visiting nearby museums.

They add an extra hidden service charge to your bill. You need to ask for it to be removed. Other than that the food was good and the service was good. I want to try their other foods, but I don't appreciate the restaurant adding extra costs and then asking us to tip on top of that. The restaurant should be the ones to pay their wait staff fairly. I had the West African gumbo and it did have some really good west African flavors. We also got the truffle fries which were cooked well.

This was honestly the best place we could've gone after the Word Museum!!!! For 1) it was Happy hour, 2) the array of different cuisines in a singular menu, and 3) I absolutely adore when I know my money is going to a fully deserving establishment. The atmosphere was not only welcoming , but soooo inspiring to be in with the art pieces from local artists.

We went last minute before closing, after drunk shakespeare. My friend needed to potty so we stopped here and couldnt help ordering drinks, food and a tee before leaving. My friend said her burger may have even been better than a Clydes burger and that is our go to after a night drinking! I will absolutely be back to this hidden gem.

Loved our meal here. The menu has a great variety of options. Lots of appetizers, small plates and large plates. It's really good for sharing. Each item we tried was totally delicious and really well made. The servers were great. Ready to answer questions, but never in the way. The ambiance is really cool. It's not big, but it has different almost intimate seating areas as well as bar seating. The drink menu is also solid.

A Wonderful Sunday Brunch at CR NoMa!…read more I visited CR NoMa for Sunday brunch and really enjoyed my experience! CR NoMa is a Moroccan-Israeli scratch kitchen featuring Middle Eastern and North African flavors. I love that it feels like a relaxed neighborhood spot while still being stylish and sophisticated. FOOD: I ordered the Traffic Jam Breakfast, which comes with scrambled cheesy eggs, a hash brown, and cornmeal-crusted French toast with maple syrup and raspberry glaze. Since I don't eat pork, I swapped the bacon for crispy lamb, and everything was delicious! The French toast was definitely a highlight, especially with that raspberry glaze. I do wish they offered another traditional breakfast meat that isn't pork, like chicken or turkey sausage. The crispy lamb was a great substitute, but having another non-pork breakfast option would be nice. DRINKS: I did the $24 Bottomless "Make Your Own Mimosas," which I thought was a great deal! Instead of constantly waiting for someone to refill your mimosa, they bring bottomless bottles of sparkling wine with a selection of juices, so you can make your mimosa exactly how you like it. They also offer a $45 Deluxe Bottomless option that includes the make-your-own mimosas plus CR Bloody Marys, Micheladas, draft cocktails, and Old Time Lager. An entrée is required for either bottomless option, and food is purchased separately. SERVICE: Our server was wonderful! She was attentive, kind, and accommodating. I explained my dietary needs, and she had no problem allowing me to substitute the bacon for crispy lamb. I really appreciated how easy she made it. ATMOSPHERE: The restaurant is surprisingly spacious! You really can't tell how big it is from the outside. I loved the modern rustic décor, beautiful natural lighting, and relaxed but sophisticated feel. It works perfectly as a casual neighborhood brunch spot but also feels like somewhere that could easily transition into a lively dinner and drinks destination. The broader menu features Middle Eastern and North African flavors, including fresh brick-oven pita and house-made hummus, plus craft cocktails. They also offer happy hour and weekend brunch, so there's plenty for me to come back and try! PRICE: The prices are very reasonable, especially for the portion sizes. You get a good amount of food without brunch feeling unnecessarily expensive. And $24 for bottomless sparkling wine and juices in DC? I'll take it! Overall, CR NoMa delivered a wonderful Sunday brunch experience. Delicious food, attentive service, a beautiful space, good portions, and reasonable prices. I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu!

For $45 per person, the all-you-can-eat experience feels like a really solid deal considering how many protein options and side dishes you get. They start you off with a variety of banchan (side dishes), including a salad with this super tasty dressing that had the perfect little spicy kick. For the BBQ, we kicked things off with the spicy bulgogi and butter garlic shrimp, while the others tried the pork belly (I don't eat pork). Later we ordered the steak, spicy brisket, and grilled squid, which were all delicious. The spicy brisket especially was a standout for me. The guys also ordered two rounds of fried dumplings that looked amazing, but since they contain pork, I had to sit those out. I'd love to see Chadol add a veggie dumpling option to the menu! As for the sides, the kimchi and cold glass noodles were both hits at our table, and of course we all added white rice. The "mashed potatoes" though? Definitely more like potato salad and unfortunately very bland. On the other hand, the cheese corn costs extra but is 1000% worth adding. For drinks, the guys enjoyed the Woody Old Fashioned while I had a mezcal margarita-style cocktail that was smoky and refreshing. We also ordered one of the chicken options but never received it and eventually just gave up on it. One of the coolest parts of the experience is the ordering system. Most meats are ordered directly from a machine at your table, and the food comes out quickly on this conveyor belt-style setup which was honestly so fun. Drinks and side dishes are ordered through the servers. The atmosphere was lively and energetic without feeling overwhelming. The restaurant is actually much larger inside than I expected, with a modern setup that works well for smaller groups. That said, I didn't really notice tables for larger parties, so I'm not sure how they accommodate groups bigger than 6 people. Service started off a little rough because our server wasn't very attentive, but after I called it out, he definitely stepped it up and things improved. Overall, Chadol was a really good experience and absolutely worth the price. The 1.5-hour seating limit makes sense too, both to keep things moving and give others a chance to enjoy the experience. I'd definitely go back!
