    Panel upgraded
    Noelle S.

Our electrical panel needed to be moved, and upgraded to 200 Amps. We texted Jay and he immediately replied, and came by to give us an estimate the very next day. Out of all the quotes we got, he had the most effective plan at a price we could work with. He was very communicative and let us know everything before he made a change, and as with electrical work on an older home there were a few surprises we had to figure out but Jay was solutions-oriented, practical and got the job done correctly. We also mentioned we needed a new outlet in passing, and the next time he came he swapped it out for us. Jay and his team are thorough, knowledgeable and licensed. We will definitely be contacting him for future projects.

Installed 1.5" metal conduit neatly to the main panel. The metal conduit connects to schedule 40 pvc underground.

I had a pretty daunting project. I needed to upgrade the electrical in my detached garage to support some new pool equipment that required more power. I needed to install a 100 amp subpanel in my detached garage with a 75 feet trench. There was previously an existing overhead wire that was dangerously low certainly not to code and I needed an electrician to help solve this problem. I requested quotes on yelp and Jay from JMJP Electric was the first to respond to my request and also first to drop by my house for a site evaluation to give me a quote. I was budget conscious so I shopped for about a week and decided to go with Jay because he was responsive, friendly, and transparent with pricing. He completed the project in 2 days with a team of 3 total guys who even stayed into the evening to get the project done. He understood that I had a pool pump installation coming the next day so the work had to be completed that day. All in all, I'm please with the quality of work and would certainly recommend JMJP Electric to my friends and family. I will definitely call back when I have any electrical needs. Check out some of the pictures of the project.

I called Ready Electric and was immediately met with such professionalism. They came to my house within two hours of me calling. Jesse and his crew were so friendly (and they were great with my dogs which is a huge plus). They worked so hard to fix the big issue in my house and they did a great job for a very reasonable price. I have found my go to electricians. I will definitely be using them again and referring them to my friends and family.

I'm not too sure if a lot of these reviews are real. The technician who came by was pleasant, but when he heard we wanted a complete rewire, he did not even inspect the property or the amp panel. He just ballparked us a random number that made absolutely no sense. It was when I asked him to do an inspection to review the scope of work that he half heartedly opened a few outlets and said "ok, we're just going to replace them." In the end he gave me a quote verbally and never even sent me an actual quote that was promised. I would be extremely careful working with this company or choosing them for any high level electric work. If you review them on BBB or the California licensing board, you'll see that the owner is C-10 licensed but his workers are contractors who are working under his license. In comparing them to other electric companies in SGV in which the workers are licensed, this company uses just random contractors so the quality of your work varies.

This review is long overdue…read more My husband and I bought our house in 2022 and the first things we wanted to do was install our car charger and have someone look at our old electric to figure out if we needed to prioritize upgrades. Primo was the third company we reached out to for estimates and we chose them off of good vibes and competitive prices. I'm grateful for it. These guys are solid, honest people and won't recommend things you don't need. In fact, if you have a wild idea for something that is unnecessary or costly, they'll tell you up front so you know in advance. In addition to doing things the right way, they're respectful. I've chatted with a few companies about various house projects and David and Jesse treated me (a woman) like my input matters just as much as my husband's. It signals competence, excellence, and professionalism when, even though I say "my husband is the boss," a contractor checks with me just in case. And, it prevents arguments down the road. We've rehired Primo for light fixture swaps, outlet adds, new switch fixtures, and we plan to hire them for our upcoming upgrades because they're all around good people who do good work. Primo is a business that you root for, and are proud to support as a customer. We'll continue to work with Primo on our electric needs for all of these reasons and more. Thanks, guys!
