Afterwards he encouraged us to take both devices for a "test ride" to ensure everything was in working order. Subsequently, we did not notice a minor sofeware glitch until Chris had left. Chris is great - I have contacted him for various computer support issues and he had always solved them. The most recent my computer suddently started making horrribly grinding noises. He called back within an hour of me leaving a message and figured it was a bad fan after hearing in on the phone. I dropped my computer off at his home and had it back two days later as he was able to order replacement fan with expedited shipping. He texted me about part cost and shipping options prior to ordering. I never bring my stuff to Apple anymore, I just call him, and all the updates, upgrades, etc., take place in a relaxed atmosphere. HP told me my hard-drive was done. BestBuy told me they would have to ship it to Kentucky to have their experts try to retrieve my documents at a minimum cost of $600. I have used iMobile Tech periodically for a few years. I must admit that I am computer illiterate, although I need the computer for work (my office is at home). Most of my computer problems have been self-induced. That has never bothered Chris, who is both knowledgeable and patient. An example is connecting my printer, which I swore up and down was wireless, but it turned out that it wasn't and I had to get an extender (or something like that) to connect to my network. Another was setting up a network throughout the house, which has major challenges due to the thickness or something with the walls. I very rarely write reviews, but Chris truly helped me more then I could have ever imagined. I needed help with my computer FAST to finish a school project and I was just calling everyone on Yelp in the order they were shown. It was just after 7pm and no one was answering. I was so happy when he did! And he said he could come fix my computer right away for a reasonable price. He came to my house shortly after I arrived home and had my laptop fixed in about an hour. I was very grateful and able to finish all my pressing work. About a week or two later the same thing happened again and he took time out of his life to walk me through how to fix it over the phone. I cannot even begin to tell you how much I appreciated that. Unfortunately, nothing we tried helped. About a week after that! He called and asked if he could come by to try one more thing. Hell yeah! So I really messed up my computer and that didn't work either. He filled out a return form for me to send it back to the manufacturing company. He also debugged the other computer I was working on at the time and helped my father in law with his desktop. Chris really went above and beyond what was expected of him. So grateful to have found Chris on NextDoor!! After a series of computer problems and inept/incomplete "repairs" by others I was pretty sure the computer was dead. I called Chis who walked me through a few diagnostics after which he told me it was. So I got a new computer. Problem was I had no backup. Wow, this morning Chris resolved all my internet headache issues! In the past I tried two different routers (different times) and was still having major dropouts on components like my Nest doorbell, internal camera, and other devices.
