Imo's is an all time favorite of mine. So when I moved back to the Midwest I was thrilled to learn that Columbia Missouri had an Imo's! However, I started noticing the pizza was cold and almost stale when I ordered it. The crust seems like it's been sitting in a room premise for days. And the hours of operation are a joke. It used to be open late. But now, even if they claim to be open until 11pm, they stop taking orders or even picking up the phone by 10:30. I know covid has made it tough but ultimately this hurts the entire Imo's brand. Columbia Missouri Imo's.... Get your act together! Note people who care about your product and will at least work until closing time, even if closing time is earlier than it used to be. read more

I ordered from this Imo's last night and was pleasantly surprised at how good the pizza was. Delicious sausage and cheese with black olives, onions and spinach. Delivery was fast and the driver was courteous and friendly. read more

Passing through eastern Missouri? Had just a little too much wine and craving a ridiculously delicious salt and carb laden snack? What you need is an IMO's! A real St. Louis special, their pizza is characterized by a very thin, cracker-like crunchy crust and gooey provel cheese. The buffalo chicken pizza is fab. Even more fab tho are the toasted ravioli, without which no meal here is complete. In fact- just forget the pizza and get the 50 count ravioli- that's what you'd remember the most anyway. The leftovers will go well with that cheap wine you've filled your RV with. read more

I never liked thin crust pizza for the longest time. It really made no sense to me. Pizza should be filling, fill of carbs, and able to soak up the side of ranch dressing I shouldn't be dipping my crust into. After constantly being outvoted (we lived in a democratic apartment) for the thin crust with breakfast bacon, I had no choice but to give in...Much like Barney's first sip of beer from the Simpsons or Tim Allen's first line of coke, the question came to me.... "Where have you been all my life?" I have ventured out and tried different pizzas and sub sandwhiches, but this pizza is high on a short list of favorites. Aside from game days and weekend nights, the delivery time was always reasonable and the pizza was always hot. I try not to look about at those times of not eating it.... stoopid me. read more

So, IMO's is one of my favorite places to go, but apparently if the same employee does something to you that he previously did to someone else, it doesn't matter because "it's already been taken care of". Me and my friend went into Imo's and were ready to order. He asked what we'd like, my friend asked a question about the menu and then he walked off after answering. We had called a few minutes ago about wings, and it was evident it was us. As he walked off he turned off the fryer, messed around a bit then came back and we asked for wings. He then said "oh i just turned the fryer off" and she asked if it could be turned back on and he basically said no. So the next day she calls up and got it taken care of. So.. i had no problem until i had a chance to call up and just voice my concerns because i was genuinely upset about how the situation played out and how one of my fav restaurants has an employee who is hurting their business. The manager then tells me "i already handled the situation, I'm not giving you more free food." And since he was so abrupt with ending our conversation, I guess he can read this to hear my response.. Sir, i have a job and money to purchase food from your establishment. I thought it'd be nice to know that you have an employee who is openly ruining your clientele. Do not come at me talking about you're not giving me free food, for I do not want to come to your establishment anymore. Not out of spite or even the way i was treated but simply for the fact that a situation that happened to me was minimized because it was "already taken care of" because it happened to someone else. I wanted to raise awareness to the situation and the wrongful employee, but apparently you are not concerned for the outlook of your business. Thank you. read more

One word sums up the Imo's Pizza experience. Gross. Being a Chicagoan I have pretty high pizza standards. I come from the land of deep dishes piled high with REAL mozzarella cheese. Somehow, people in Missouri think that Provel passes for cheese. For those of you not in the know, the USDA doesn't even recognize provel as Cheese because of it's over processed plastic properties. Yuck. For the price IMO's charges you could buy a much better pizza elsewhere, or save your cash and make one at home. Do yourself a favor and skip IMO's. read more

The pizza is supposed to be soupy and salty; it's St Louis style with yummy provel cheese. You either love it or hate it.

What a surprise Chicagoans feel disappointed by a thin crust pizza. It may not be your cup of tea, but if it is, there is no better. Anytime I've been here the ingredients are fresh and the pie cooked exactly as it should be. Haters gonna hate, but if you happen to love St. Louis style pizza like I do, Imo's delivers. read more

Not very good pizza at all. Sorry Imo's, but you really need to change the way you make a pizza pie. First of all, and most important, why is my pizza salty as hell. Why is that the toppings fall off when you pick up a slice. Oh well, the hot wings were not awful, but you could do something to bring them up to par. If I was you, I would go elsewhere. read more

Great Pizza! The pizza has excellent taste and is well prepared. The staff is nice, helpful, and friendly.

Had two pizzas last night, came late and cold. Also the coupon doesn't say the the appetizer is a smaller sample not the menu size which is misleading. Over $50 for a bad meal. read more

Food is great but had someone really rude and hateful make comments while I was on the phone in the background that I overheard today.

I grew up with St. Louis style pizza and Imo's is probably the most well known example. Get the deluxe but add peppers. Delicious.

This pizza is so horrible I don't know where to begin! I ordered online-first mistake. I know I selected an extra large with sausage, Pepperoni and green olives but all that registered were the green olives (that was my fault for not looking over the order before pressing send). It was a Friday night (my next mistake) and it took them an hour and a half to get the pizza delivered. Now to how awful this pizza is. Super thin crust was doughy like it had been heated up in a microwave. The sauce was so sweet-like someone had dumped a ton of sugar in it. I detected either cheddar or American cheese--not authentic at all. This was quite possibly the most vile and disgusting pizza I'd ever had the misfortune to eat. I moved here from Chicago so I am holding these folks to a very high standard. The deep fried ravioli was also completely horrible. Rubbery and tasteless as well as cold like the pizza. I'm beginning to wonder if I'll ever find a decent pizza joint around here. I won't be ordering from them again. I wonder if Uno's or Lou Malnatti's will ship to Jefferson City. Even frozen and re-heated they'd be superior to that doughy mess that was delivered to my house. read more
