All they care about is money at first they act like their supportive then the management shows just how little they care about your sobriety

Being my first time in treatment, I didn't know what to expect or what I had committed myself to but, Lighthouse was there for me every step of the way. From detox to completion of treatment, I received nothing but love, support and respect being as broken as I was. They treated me with compassion, understanding and operated within God's grace while taking care of me every step of the way. Through their help and programming, I was able to not just rehabilitate my health. They helped to rehabilitate my mind. They were able to do for me in 3 months what I was incapable of doing for myself. Because of Lighthouse, I have my life back. My marriage is back on track, my kids have their father back but most importantly I restored my relationship with God during my stay. I couldn't have done this without their help or support. I was failing on my own. Lighthouse made it so that I was able to focus on healing myself from the inside out. Thank you so much for church, gym, yoga, offsite meetings and all the extras like game night and movie night. It was the first time I had done (or was able to do) any of those things sober in YEARS. Thank you so much for the clinical groups, motivational speakers and panels. It opened my eyes to a difference in perspective and understanding when it came to addiction and how much people need to be loved. Truly humbling. A special thank you to Tyler and Teresa for doing such a great job at the facility. Between staff and taking a look around, it really does show how much they care about what they do. Thank you to everyone at intake, the front office and administration. With all your patience and calm demeanors, you make it look easy. Shout out to kitchen staff for all their hard work and making sure everyone there was always well fed (miss the food for sure). Taco Tuesdays were the best! Thank you to the nurses and doctors. You always made sure we had what we needed when we needed it. When it comes to staff, it's extremely difficult for me to pick favorites. They are ALL great. It's apparent that going above and beyond is their standard mode of operation. With that being said... Special thanks to: *Candice. The most bad a$$, straight forward, sweetest person I've ever met. Thank you for your honesty, positivity, caring and being straightforward about everything. *Edmund. Thank you for sharing all your knowledge and wisdom when it came to the reality of dealing with real life circumstances. *Mike! FAFO, don't be late! Thank you for the discipline you incorporated into the program and showing how much you cared that we all succeeded. *Austin. Thank you for being so down to earth and taking the awkwardness out of being honest about addiction. I'll never forget the game "In My Addiction." It shined new light on how I wasn't alone in the struggle and helped me to be more open about myself. *Alfonso. Thank you so much for having those real, heart to heart conversations with myself and the group, sharing how the dynamics of our behavior shapes our habits which influences our lives (no loitering!). *Joey. Thank you for all your encouraging, compassionate declamations amongst the groups showing kindness is alive and well. *Rob. Thank you for your constant, positively radiant attitude and the diligence you incorporate into all you do. *Kaylee. Honestly, thanks for being awesome with everything and everyone. *Liz. Sooooo good. Thank you for educating me on my blood pressure and the importance of the numbers and what they signify. Your energy was always fun to be around. *Ronnie. Thank you for always trying to help a brotha' out. *Timmy. Thank you for your patience with me while making sure I was taken care of in detox. *Paddy. Thank you so much for your sweet, caring demeanor and the encouragement you gave me in detox. Lighthouse was truly my home away from home. Their hearts are in everything they do. Thank you tremendously for everything. Keep up the great the work and God bless you. -Samuel Sa

They say 40%-60% of addicts relapse after treatment, but based on my experience as a client there, it must be a way higher success rate! I did 30 days at Lift off recovery, and am leaving with more tools to keep myself from relapsing and staying in recovery, than I learned during my previous 1 year stint in recovery. The staff are hyper focused on your recovery, they keep it very clean, and cook for us! The location is in a very quiet and nice neighborhood near parks, trails, and In-n-out :). We also get to go to their personally owned gym, take boxing classes, and request activities to do that aren't on the schedule. I also found GOD and a higher power while here, benefited greatly from their personal therapist and counselors they have assigned to each of us, and know I can always count on them to help in the future.

100% LIFE CHANGING PROGRAM THAT IS FREE! As someone who has completed this 6 month program I can…read moretell you from experience that it has helped me in countless ways to become the best man, father, brother, son, and friend I have ever been. I am just over 8 months sober, employed and in the best spiritual, mental, and physical health of my life. Not only that I have more hope, confidence in my capabilities, and optimism for what life holds by continuing what this program has taught me. This program provides you with everything you need to rebuild yourself to be successful and sober for the rest of your life. The program understands that sobriety should be fun so all enjoy access to 2 fitness areas, huge pool, jacuzzi, basketball court, bowling alley, library, movie room, giant day room with awesome couches to watch the main big screen, pool tables, ping pong, Xbox, PlayStation, Wii and other handhelds, snack shack with dining tables area for late night cravings, beautiful dining hall with coffee, meals and snacks provided throughout the day (we eat good here!). We are taken to Angel Stadium for baseball games and concerts, Honda Center for hockey, the beach, have baseball tournaments, BBQs with music and fellowship, paintballing, the theaters, and so much more. You also have the opportunity to visit and call family throughout your program or have them join chapel and visit you. You are not locked up here. We get 4hr and 8hr time periods to check out from the facility after our work day so lots of freedom. We are treated like adults so given trust and respect. Job responsibilities vary from warehouse positions, kitchen duties, night Watchman, maintenance, deskman, landscaping, and more depending on experience. Having skin in the game and working throughout my stay has prepped me for my current job and I couldn't be more grateful. The facility is clean and open, air-conditioned and maintained daily. All have a room with with roommate size ranging from 1 to 4. Tons of space in each room and you have your own locker with lock that provides your stuff with security. You are given an entire wardrobe upon admittance into program where you can choose your clothes. You are given hygiene and fresh towels and bedding with access to laundry room daily to stay fresh. Bathrooms and showers are great with hot water. The Captains who run the facility are Captain Tim and Tanya Pemberton. They understand what it means to turn life around and live one of joy and fulfillment. I have made friends here with guys who have gone through the struggles I have experienced. We learn to build our life on a foundation rooted in Christ which is unshakeable. I now have a support group I can carry for life. This has led to job networking and a plan for life after program. If you want to give yourself a chance at completely turning your life around from addiction and being FREE from the obsession of using drugs and alcohol come here. If you know anyone struggling with drugs and/or alcohol encourage them to come here. So many blessing await. God Is Good.

As a healthcare provider myself, im very keen to the healthcare facilities and how well they are maintained. Im sure, like many other inpatient facilities, one cant expect service right away once called upon. So i guess that would be my only real complain. Other than that, i truly believe my lola (means grandma in Filipino) is in good hands. This facility has a great schedule for activities to keep them active or something fun like getting her nails painted or coloring. I remember walking in on the patients in a circle and they were hitting an air ball around. It was just too cute! They even take out all the patients once a month or so to a restaurant just to change things up! They provide costumes for fun parties and Halloween. Its so nice! They also have board games and playing cards and i loved borrowing their cards to play Go Fish with my lola. I love my lola with all my heart and the last time i visited her, I was very pleased to learn how much the staff truly cares about her as well as the other patients. There are all those horror stories of other nursing homes that are just inhumane and cruel and breaks your heart to find out the mistreatment from a nurse. I can be rest assured of the high quality nursing care she receives here!
