I've worked with Gasia and 123 Senior Placement several times over the past few months, and every experience has been excellent. Gasia immediately connects with families, takes the time to really understand their needs, and uses her strong network of contacts to find the right fit for each patient. Families consistently tell me how smooth and supportive the process was from start to finish. If you ever need help finding a new community for a friend or family member, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend 123 Senior Placement--they truly go above and beyond.

From the very first phone call, my advisor Gasia was compassionate, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. We toured a few communities together, and Gasia stayed in touch every step of the way. There was never any pressure, just genuine support. Thanks to them, my mom is now in a beautiful, caring community and thriving. I can't thank Gasia and 123 enough for guiding us through such an emotional process. Highly recommend!

The Ivy Park at Burbank is an exceptional assisted living community. Our family is uniquely…read morepositioned to speak to the team's consistency and character. For eight weeks, one of us was present in the community around the clock, observing the staff across shifts, circumstances, and both ordinary and challenging moments. This is not a single positive encounter, it is a pattern. One that reflects genuine care, professionalism, and reliability. Yes, there are amenities. Yes, there are activities. But what truly makes this place special (the secret "sauce") is the people, especially the kitchen and dining team. The Front Desk: The Nerve Center Passing through the lobby, you may first encounter Jennifer, unmistakably one of the community's faces. She operates like an air-traffic controller - eyes everywhere, aware of everyone - yet with effortless warmth and calm authority. She greets residents and guests by name, always adding a personal comment that makes people feel genuinely seen. Jennifer notices wanderers or anyone who looks uncertain. She arranges escorts to rooms, dining halls, or helps with... anything. When I purchased a dinner ticket, she already knew my mom's name and room number. Jennifer is unfailingly upbeat, her radiant smile setting a tone of calm, safety, and care. (I am convinced Ivy Park employees must pass an emotional intelligence test, a MENSA-level aptitude exam, and a memory challenge.) You might also meet Victoria and/or Michelle and Nicole (forgive me if I have the names wrong). All oversee the floor with poise, attentiveness, and approachability. They consistently go the extra mile, answering questions, guiding guests, or offering quiet reassurance. Their presence communicates that people matter here. They're kind and dependable, always ensuring residents are well cared for. In the early morning, Dana stands out with her alternative style and dry, understated humor. She is especially focused on safety tracking entrances, exits, and sign-ins to keep everyone accounted for. She is firm but fair, and I really liked her. Both Dana and Nicole also share remarkable memory, always recalling our names and room number. Liza (or Lisa? Ugg! Overnight gal!) was always a bright, kind presence, someone it was genuinely nice to see. We shared a sweet connection, and her warmth stood out. One evening, Connie, Lisa, and I chatted late at night. Connie is steady, compassionate, and supportive, a friend to her coworkers, whose empathy creates comfort and trust. Dining: Where the Magic Happens The dining experience at Ivy Park is so polished and consistent that it could be mistaken for a four-star hotel. Martin, overseeing back-of-house operations, and the Chef, leading the kitchen and developing menus, complement each other perfectly. They create an experience where high-quality food and efficiency converge beautifully. The atmosphere sets the tone before the first plate arrives: leather-bound menus, crisp linens, white napkins, and fresh flowers on every table. It feels intentional, serene, and welcoming. Meals are inventive, beautifully presented, generously portioned (really nice), and delicious. Whether shrimp scampi, potato-leek soup, salmon, or chamomile tea, the kitchen's care and pride are clear. French fries are CRACK. On occasion, something doesn't land, so there is an all-day menu that offers alternatives. Every member of the dining team greets residents and guests by name - three times a day. The atmosphere is a little like Cheers: a place where everyone is known, remembered, and welcomed. The Dining Team Jonathan is focused, conscientious, and attentive. He checks in to ensure everything is perfect, crouches to make eye contact with residents, especially in wheelchairs, and serves with pride. I am his biggest fan. Savannah is confident, observant, and highly intuitive. She remembers orders, adapts to unpredictable moments, and navigates challenges with grace. She "rolls with the crazy" in a way that makes everyone feel safe. She's very cool! Tyler is courteous and gentle, bringing quiet kindness to every interaction. Once he managed a complex order while adding three more mid-route. When two rude residents muttered they'd "kill" him, he never broke professionalism and simply smiled and continued on. Veronica is cheerful, patient, and purposeful. She offers options (reheats tea endlessly with a smile) and manages feisty residents with humor and timing perfect for a sitcom. I adored her! Caitlin is precise, diligent, and unfazed by difficult personalities. She once flawlessly took orders for nine people, multiple requests, without writing anything down. Calm, confident, and proud of her role, she is phenomenal. Josefine brings cheerful, fun energy to mornings and confidently handles detailed orders. She assisted my sister's guests impeccably in the private dining room. Together, this team turns dining from routine into an experience of dignity and connection.

I…read moream considered independent with regards to handling my own medication and up until now my meds were delivered to this facility pretty much trouble free. There was an incident awhile ago where there was a mixup with one of my medications and it was misplaced. Long story short I ended up paying for a replacement refill... no big deal. I have had numerous other prescriptions filled since this incident without any problems. Now out of the blue without any warning I was told I had to be present at the time of my medications being delivered to this facility because Ivy Park can't be responsible for my meds. I might have understood their reasoning if they would have addressed the issue at the time my meds were misplaced. Waiting months after the mixup with my medications feels a bit like this facility wants to get more money out of me and having this facility administer my meds would be very expensive. I have also heard that sometimes the med tech is late with handing out the medication. I'm in a wheelchair with a form of muscular dystrophy that is very advanced and to have to go to the pharmacy to get my prescriptions would be difficult. I've lived here at Ivy Park for 5 years and never had this problem before with regards to having my prescriptions delivered. I feel management here should have discussed the issue with me before a prescription I needed was delivered to this facility today. I'm lucky someone here accepted the delivery of my medications today as clearly the manager would not have. I get it that it's all about money but I feel management should take into account my health and not suddenly deny care I have been getting for the past 5 years. Then there's the issue with my meals, because of my advanced form of muscular dystrophy and being in a large wheelchair there is only two tables I can have my meals at due to the size of my wheelchair. Well management doesn't feel I warrant a designated table for my meals and today I couldn't eat in the dining room because of two people having their meal at this table. I have been previously told that I could wait until the people are done with their meal and then I could sit at the table or I could take my food to my room to eat. It's a medical necessity that I have a table that will accommodate me during my meals and I don't understand with the amount of money I spent here to live that there can't be some way to accommodate my needs. And for all you vegans out there Ivy Park has taken the vegan option off the dinner menu at this time. I am very consistent with the care I need ( always on time and respectful of the caregivers who are helping me )
