Alex did my Mani/pedi and was completely unprofessional. Seemed annoyed that I only wanted my heels pumiced and not the balls of my feet (I'm too ticklish!), so he barely did my heels. I love this because I use my hands a lot for work and my nails usually get chipped or peel easily. I definitely recommend getting there early on the weekends because it does fill up quickly. Again, i'm not sure if it was specifically my nail lady but i am not have a good experience & I will most likely not be returning. I've had this happen to me many times and I have also overheard this being a complaint of other patrons in the waiting area. I've had a very positive experience each time and have had no desire to try other nail salons in the area. I have started getting the SNS powder manicures instead of the gel. It's quicker, lasts longer than standard gel, is more durable, and they always do a precise job. It's only $10 more than gel and even is the same price you'd pay for regular gel in NYC, which is surprising since you'd think the upstate would be more expensive. So many places by me claim to do a good job with UV gel tips and you always end up walking out with lumpy, crooked nails or a design or shape that isn't quite what you were looking for. Not here. I came in with a photo of what I wanted for my baby shower and left with exactly that. The first time I went I would have given them 5 stars but I've been there 3 more times and I'm not happy. First, speaking a language amongst each other is understandable but it is constant and uncomfortable. My nail tech took a cigarette break in between my gel manicure. He also used a nail file drill to get off my nail polish- not only do I think that it weakens my nail but now I have an infection due to him cutting my finger. The woman sitting next to me was asking for a flower painted on her nail and they were laughing and talking Chinese- the poor woman looked so uncomfortable- they got a staff woman from the other side of the room to have the client explain it to her. I really hope they can iron out the kinks because it's a large, clean and lovely establishment. I will try it one more time. read more

My first visit here I honestly wasn't pleased - I got a UV Gel set & the gentlemen who took me was a bit rude and made my nails round despite showing him a picture of coffin nails.
