I got my nails done (powder for first time) when I received a gift certificate. I was happy with the results and have since come back to maintain them. My last visit on 10/26 I felt as though the technician was rushing and she cut my nails much shorter than I like. A few of my nails have broken and I'm disappointed with that. I'm hoping they can be repaired and don't feel that I should have to pay for them to be redone. I do looks this salon; they are all professional and very nice. When I got them done the lady doing them was really rough and she kept slightly cutting my skin. Then another lady kept trying to convince me to get gel when i clearly said I didn't want it she went to my mother and told her even though I was paying for myself. Nice and new, everything looked clean inside. I was greeted right away and shown a palette of many colors, so many options I would have needed a lot of time to pick one, and I felt a little rushed, but picked one quickly. Originally was going to get a powder gel, but when I saw the cat's eye, I decided to go for one of those instead. Loved the color, even though I thought she cut my nails down a little too short. (I did want them cut down a little, maybe I should have been more specific). Not a big deal for me though, they grow fast! I don't leave near the salon, so I wouldn't be there on a regular basis, but I wouldn't hesitate to go back if I was in the area. The salon is very big and very nice looking and my gel manicure was done in 45 minutes which I LOVED because some places do them way too slow! I've actually spent 2 hours in salons getting a gel (which is crazy) so 45 minutes is a BIG PLUS!! read more

This salon was such a wonderful surprise! It is beautiful and quite large once you step inside. It is immaculate and the prices are great. I received a waxing and a manicure this morning after calling only 30 mins ahead and was done in under an hour. The staff members were kind and professional, it was an overall positive experience start to finish. The color choices for your nails was incredible, way more then I've seen at most other establishments, and while your nails dry they give you a complimentary shoulder massage which really ends the appt well. I read so many good reviews on this place so decided to give it a chance. I got there at 930 no one was there yet . They finally opened and I asked for pink and white gel fill. The guy David was very rude when I told him I wanted the white wider. He huffed like it was a problem. It took almost 2 hours for a gel fill and I had to leave . The shape is all off and not even at all. I will never go back. The staff should really smile more and be nicer to their customers. read more

Got a UV Gel full set. I've done this many times over the past 15 years. This was the first time I ever had searing pain when I stuck my hand in the UV light! The nail tech said "that's normal" and so did the lady next to me. But if you google "gel nails, heat spikes" you'll see this is not normal and completely preventable if the nail tech does their job correctly. My nails look pretty and all but....OUCH!! read more

Meh. I'm completely underwhelmed by this place. I had an appointment but was not greeted by anyone upon entering for 5-10 minutes and waited another 5-10 minutes before being seated at a station. The nail tech immediately went for the dremel to remove my gel polish which is lazy, unnecessary and can thin your nails. NONE of the tools used were sterilized or opened in front of me despite the lengthy copy in their brochure about their high standards. The tech left my squared nail corners sharp and pointy and I had to ask multiple times for him to fix things and still left with rough areas. Finally he fouled up a nail at the end by filing it to separate the nail from the skin that had been top coated together and didn't offer to fix it. I won't be returning. read more

I always had a problem with my nail breaking and i decided to have a powered gel manicure. Eva was the tech that did it and i cannot praise her enough I have been there about 3 times, also having face waxing and pedicure done by Eva. She is such a sweet girl, I am a senior citizen and the back massages she gives me are fabulous. I must admit the first time I went in May, had a sweet lady who gave me a gel manicure and a spa pedicure, was totally happy. The second time I went, had another sweet lady who left me very happy. Third time, not so much a charm, had a nice enough man for spa pedicure which was mediocre yet wasn't too disappointed, just opted not to have nails done. Also, the man who met me at the door had a little flippant attitude when I asked what a VIP Card was and he insisted, prices are good enough with the discount advertised. Did I get suspicious and learn, nope. I went in for a Spa Pedicure this past weekend and was talked into a higher priced one, which I thought a bit of pampering would be nice. The young man appeared to be in a rush, did not cover my entire legs with the cream, only left it on top until I mentioned that. He reluctantly finally put cream on around the leg. Then there was other items that were skimmed on and such. After a few minutes more I asked how much a manicure would be, he told me and proceeded to tell me that I didn't need one. So I said, oh, okay, I should go somewhere else to have one? He didn't respond, rushed through the rest of the pedicure, used an hot stone that wasn't cleaned out before putting back into towel heater. Maybe they didn't need my business after all. I was going to take advantage of the foot massage special, if I liked it would have made this my go to place for reflexology, but now will just stay where I am. read more

I picked a color for my nails. I was using SNS powder, and when she brought it out they said there was something wrong with it and couldn't use that color. I picked a new color, and 4 days after getting them done one of them had already cracked. they are supposed to last 3 weeks, and mine are already ruined. read more

I have been coming to Imperial Nails since they opened, but I decided today that I'm not giving them any more chances. I get the gel powder manicure, but within days from getting my manicure, my nails chip or crack. They told me they changed their product, and I had one good mani in between, but then it happened again. My nails chipped so badly after 5 days that I went back to the salon today for a touch up. They repaired 3 nails and filed down several others. But now I'm home, and 2 more nails have cracks. I believe they use an inferior product. I never had this problem at previous salons. It's frustrating that this $30 mani plus tip isn't even going to last 1 week. read more
