I remembered that conversation two nights ago when our house reached 85°. We called D & H and Moises and Isaiah were here first thing in the morning. They checked the condenser-- measuring outputs and levels of various aspects, and, at my request, shared all the information with my husband and me. It was apparent that our twelve-year-old air conditioner had died. Moises called his boss on speaker phone in our living room so that all of us had input on the brand we would get and how much the new system would cost. We worked out a fair deal for all of us. Imagine our surprise when Jeremy and Caleb showed up just an hour or so later and quickly got to work! These two men worked though the 105° heat with no complaints in order to give us a much cooler house that night. They double-checked their work, measuring the temperature coming from the vents, made sure the furnace worked, and, despite their exhaustion, hauled away all the boxes, old A/C unit and various pieces of trash that someone else was supposed to have done. I don't know that we've ever had better, more considerate or thorough workers than those two! I'm so glad I eavesdropped on the man in the blood test lab that day because I believe we DID indeed find the best air conditioning company in Tucson!

I sent their General Manager, Jim, the estimate I'd received from the other guys and a separate second opinion along with my concerns. Instead of speculating, Jim sent James out to evaluate our system personally. James spent two hours inspecting everything and discovered the previous company had recommended a massive amount of unnecessary equipment and failed to mention that the actual issues were caused by their own poor installation. The best part? Cool Willy's didn't charge us a dime for the visit, calling it a "re-evaluation." The next day, they sent an estimate for the actual repairs that was less than half the price of the original quote. It's rare to find this level of integrity.

Because of their thoroughness, they discovered that it was still under warranty and supplied me the phone number to Rheem so that I could call and get the part shipped to me for repair. Once the part came in, they were able to repair it!! They didn't feel safe for me with the way the venting flow was for gas to the water heater so, while here, they replaced that at no cost! This time my wife was convinced we needed a new hot water heater and we had some other minor leaky faucets and such that needed attention. So, I called and set up an appointment for the other day. There was a minor mix-up in the dispatch office on the morning of and the wrong guy with the wrong truck with the wrong orders showed up on time (that was nice). Several excited calls followed and then David showed at about 10 a.m. in the right truck with the right tools and the right parts to do the work. Removal and installation of the new tank went quickly as did the other plumbing issues. The point is, Silverado came through and took care of us while David was always friendly and polite. He worked quickly and expertly finishing everything it what seemed to be a short amount of time. Everything was cleaned up and it all works great now.
