We called a couple companies who said they could not really assist (I maintain my own pool and dont have a regular company I call for maintenance). When we called Finn, the dispatch said they would leave him an urgent message but he might not get back to us until evening. Instead he called within 10 minutes, told us to turn off the pumps immediately and that he would send someone over to start draining it. That occurred within 45 minutes of the call. We explained that in 4 days we were having a pool party for my moms 70th birthday and he Finn did an excellent job - drained the pool, arranged for a power washer, and water delivery service. They were fast, responsive, and knowledgable! Would highly recommend and I plan on using them for opening/closing as well.

They clearly do an inadequate job during closing of winterizing the system and blowing out lines properly, because the last 2 years we have had damage to the pipes, pump and tiles that was completely avoidable. Then they charge above market prices for repair and hold off on providing service till repairs are done by them. They now send one inexperienced person to do the job that was done by 2-3 people earlier and charge more. Each maintenance report just blames the customer for their poor quality of service. They do such a great job closing the pool that is it always ready to use within 24 hours of opening in the spring - clear water and perfectly balanced chemicals. This year, I unfortunately had mice eat through some of the elements for my pool heater and Dima came out to troubleshoot and fix quickly. He even cleaned out the mess the mice had made and took steps to deter them from coming back. Dima also spent a great deal of time completely rewiring my pool pump and equipment (it was wired wrong by the pool builder) so I could control everything via the app. If you're looking for a knowledgeable, reliable, and trustworthy residential pool service definitely use DMV Pools!

We recently had our above ground pool repaired (liner, pump and sand filter) by MGN Pools. Our…read morepool was disgusting and had not been used for about 12/15 years. We sought out three estimates. One company would not do the job. Another company was extremely high, would not make the arrangements for the pool fill, it would take two to three weeks for delivery and installation, nor did they suggest installing the foam wrap to go around the pool walls to protect the liner as did MGN Pools. MGN Pools were very prompt coming out and giving us an estimate, and within 5 days, they started working on the pool. We have never had a company provide us with a copy of their business license or a certificate of liability insurance--this made us feel extremely comfortable with our decision to go with MGN Pools. They arranged for the water trucks, provided start up chemicals, installed the liner, pool pump, sand filter, skimmer and the foam wrap for the walls. It is obvious that the project manager goes out of his way to make customer relations and satisfaction his priority, and we are very impressed with the way he responses in a timely manner. The gentlemen who did the actual work were helpful in explaining the process, they worked diligently, represented MGN pools in a very professional manner, and were very particular with their workmanship as well as with the cleaning up all debris and taking it away each day. We can only conclude by saying, we wish we had known MGN Pools years ago as we would have had the pool opened sooner. The owner came out several times and would say we needed a new board or other part , but we continued to be plagued by problems. We hired a new pool company and they immediately brought us out to show us where mgn had clearly sabotaged our equipment.
