***UPDATE*** 25 Oct 25 Called customer service to get an update since I was told that my parts should be shipped by 15 Oct 25. I was told it would be a couple more weeks, which is the exact response that I've been getting since May, when I first ordered my parts. I highly recommend to NEVER purchase a Marcy Smith Machine, and instead buy a US made product that has teamed up with US company to provide replacement parts! You will eventually have to purchase replacement parts, and you don't want to have the nightmare that I've dealt with! ***UPDATE*** 6 Nov 25 Called to get another update, and of course they still didn't have my full order, however the agent this time said they would open one of their orders off the shelf to get me my missing parts. I'm glad that they took this option, but that's 6mo later and after I made this recommendation a month ago, which I was told they couldn't possibly do that. I guess that didn't age well. Just today they extended, EXTENDED, my part arrival until March/April. Hope your equipment does not malfunction or brake. You will be out of luck. Terrible customer service. I needed to replace some basic parts on a weight bench.... things like, a few bolts & washers, a few foam tubes, and a spring clip ---nothing special or exotic. I was first told, "items are on backorder" and check back in in a few weeks, and that they would get back to me also. I patiently wait... check back in today, and get an email that says, "we no longer have or carry any compatible parts." Don't buy it. If the company can't sell you basic parts like bolts, washers, foam tube or a spring clip... they're not worth spending your money. There are PLENTY of companies out here that do better for their products... and the customers that use them. DON'T BUY MARCY PRO ANYTHING. If you need to replace just basic things on your equipment,... you're out of luck... and they don't care. read more

The Marcy NS-9200 Mini-Cycle is totally worthless. Be prepared to return it because of its many shortcomings. To start with is the installation manual. The manual fails to identify where the battery compartment is located. Once found, the manual says use 1 each AA battery. Wrong, it is a single A battery. The adjustable foot straps are not large enough to hold a regular athletic shoe. The cycle is not built high enough so that your heel hits the ground when your leg is in a long pedaling motion. One last shortcoming is the digital display, There is nothing in the manual as to what you are viewing or how to use the white key to change the content on the display. read more

Products are great and pricing for replacement parts are great but ......We hope that our equipment will receive plenty of wear and I am proud to have to replace arm pads, etc. Impex makes replacement very easy and extremely affordable. I go to the Marcy Pro page and this is the address given so I am posting this here. I am weeks into a "24-48 hrs" to send me a new curl bar. I only bought it because it was the cheapest one. Guess why. One side doesnt fit olympic plates, therefore making it useless. They make you jump through hoops, and finally agree to replace, but then have ignored a simple request for shipping info for over a week now. I think the bar costs about $60, which is not the issue, I would gladly overpay next time to never deal with these crooks again. read more

This home gym equipment company is a poorly run business with questionable business practices. It's too bad that these product reviews are under the company's corporate name and not under its many brands' name so that many Yelpers will miss these reviews. With the pandemic and gym closures, this company has affordable home gym equipment in-stock and available. However, after poor experiences with two orders and a report to the Better Business Bureau and the CA Attorney's General's Office after the second order, I do not think that I will purchase more or can recommend Marcy, and likely their other brands, home gym equipment. On October 27, 2020, I purchased a home gym, Marcy MWM-4965. On November 8, 2020, I reported to the company a damaged Part #8 and requested a replacement part. On November 9, company employee Erika replied, "Please allow 24 to 48 hours for the order to process and 5-7 days for delivery depending on your location". On November 22, I inquired about the replacement part. On November 23, Erika replied, "...the order was on back order (sic) we got the part in, order will ship out tomorrow and email will be sent with tracking information". On November 25, I inquired about the replacement part. That same day, Erika replied, "The order is being shipped out this week (sic) we are just having delays with our shippers". As of today, December 1, 2020, I have not received a tracking number or the replacement part. I have notified the Better Business Bureau and the CA Attorney's General's Office. A previous experience with the company should have warned me of its business practices. On October 20, 2020, I ordered the Marcy MD-9010G, a Smith Machine/Cage System. After realizing that the Marcy MD-9010G required Olympic weights that cost MORE than the Smith Machine/Cage System, on October 26, I emailed and requested cancellation. I received two Marcy form replies. I repeated my request but Marcy sent another form reply. Subsequently, I telephoned Marcy but was on Hold for 29 minutes and did not get through. That same day, Marcy finally emailed, "Order has been shipped, if you want to cancel order (sic) there will be restocking fee of 15% and shipping cost coming back to Marcy". I replied, "As your Order Status webpage states, 'AWAITING SHIPMENT', and not as you stated in your email quoted below 'Order has been shipped', I should not be penalized with a restocking fee of 15%...my credit card company has been notified and, shortly, I will document your business practices with the Better Business Bureau and with the CA Attorney's General Office." Marcy later emailed that my order "is now Cancelled". This first order should have served as a red flag, a warning sign of this company's business practices. read more

This place is a joke they have no business being in business I ordered the marcy 9010G from their website they removed the funds from my bank and did not give me an order or conformation number. When I called them I sat on hold for 30 mins for them to tell me their system marked my order as fraudulent and that I would have to contact my bank. So I did the bank said they authorized the charge and the merchant was holding the funds i then called Impex fitness back and they would not help me nor return me my money here it is 6 days later and I am still missing $1000 from my account and will now have too file a claim with my bank I highly recommend not purchasing anything from this company When you can most likely find the same equipment somewhere else for the same price or cheaper. read more

I purchased a weight rack and the item was missing parts. I call them and they assure me that the missing parts would be shipped and received in 5-10 days. Well, in 5-10 days I get a later stating the parts are back ordered and it would be 6-8 weeks. The fact that parts are back ordered tells me they ship will missing parts quite often. I purchased an Impex weight bench over a decade ago and it has held up relatively well over time - used frequently and having been disassembled (and reassembled) over the course of several moves. This review is in relation to their customer service. I've contacted Impex twice for replacement parts (due to normal wear and tear in one case, a lost piece in another case). In both cases, the phone service was polite, courteous, and efficient. With the latest purchase, the replacement part was inexpensive but had to be back ordered due to the bench being discontinued. The Impex employee informed me that there would be a several weeks wait for delivery over the phone. I also received a mailed letter a few weeks later advising me of the wait. The part then arrived as promised. In my opinion, the customer service that Impex provided was excellent -- and for a product that is long past expectation of being supported -- they still helped out! read more

I bought the Gym Dandy see saw from Costco. Impex sells the replacement seats needed for this seesaw. I'm on my second set of seats. The see saw is well made but the seats are worthless. Don't buy this seesaw from Amazon, Costco, Wal-Mart. the seats are junk and will rot if you use the see saw outside, as it was intended. also, they sell covers for the replacement seats which will also rot, fade in the sun and rip after one season. Would definitely NOT recommend. The customer service is terrible. I called to get a part for an older piece of equipment that I have. The girl I spoke with said she would check and see because she didn't think that there were any and she would call be back that afternoon or the next morning. I never heard from her, so I called back and was assured that she would returned the call when she returned from lunch. Again no contact from her, so I called back a third time. She gave no apology for not calling me back, just said that she had an answer and no they couldn't get the part. As a company that sells equipment you would think they would be able to get it or at least come up with something comparable. She did not offer any other assistance and basically had an "I don't care attitude". I would go somewhere else to purchase any piece of equipment in the future. read more

worst customer support I have ever experienced!! Bought a treadmill and as per the manual the treadmill should drop by pushing a bar under the the bed when in the up position. Per the manual "do not apply pressure to drop the bed." When I spoke with customer support I was told that it will get better the more I use it. I purchased in 2003 an Impex Marcy Corner Gym CR 5N at Sears in New York. I recently moved to Florida and reassembled the Gym. At this point I realized the (2) selector pins which are magnetized which are used to select the amount of weight in the stack are missing. I called customer service for replacement parts. I found customer service rude and aloof. And the supervisor was worse. The part is no longer made, therefore can not be back ordered. I also asked for the manufacturer of the selector pin to have it made. But Impex refused to give me the name. Now I have a worthless gym which is not functionable.
