Everything looked clean, and the design of the place was warm and not intimidating. Emily Plumadore, the friendly hygienist, explained calmly what was going to happen. The taking of X-rays went fast (additionally, the equipment used was new and definitely seemed the latest). The cleaning was painless, with Emily regularly checking in on me to see that everything was OK. Dr. Maria Szmigiel, a warm and friendly professional, introduced herself. We talked about things just to get to know each other. What really stood out to me was that Dr. Szmigiel asked Emily, the hygienist, for her findings, thereby showing that she trusted Emily's professional input. Following her examination, Dr. Szmigiel patiently shared her findings with me, outlining potential treatment options. I never felt that I was "pushed" to accept an expensive treatment, something I have experienced often with dentists. I felt that Dr. Szmigiel accepted and respected my "conservative" approach to treatment. Nevertheless, I place my trust in her when necessary. Upon check-out, I observed that the clinic's administrative system, including finances, demonstrated a focus on supporting the patient, not just the clinic. All in all: a very positive experience...and this for "going-to-the-DENTIST"!

She then left the practice unexpectedly and my follow up procedures were canceled. We were able to reschedule with Dr. Hines. On the morning of I notified the office right away that I was sick all night and had an elevated temp. I was told not to come in. I then called to reschedule when feeling better and was told I could not schedule my procedures because Dr. Hines considered my illness a no show. Very disappointed on the lack of empathy and rudeness of the associate when I was explaining as she was not the associate who handled the call. Very disappointed in the Dr who allows his patients to suffer and basically punish someone for being sick. When I said I would have to go elsewhere for care as I am in pain, his associate stated "okay, good". So professional, so caring. Just disappointing.

They also have another instrument called a diagnodent which is a laser that they put on your tooth to determine tooth decay that might not show up on the x-ray. I did not like the fact that they have to set up a consultation visit before the actual cleaning that took about 4 hours out of my day and seemed like a way to get extra money out of me. Alright now why the 2-star review, well I understand that the economy is bad but they tried to tell me I needed 4 fillings and I had NO cavities! Because there might be the chance that I can get a filling in this spot because it is starting to show signs of tooth decay....needless to say I will be getting a second opinion.

I have yet to have a positive experience here. Both crowns they did for me lasted less than 4…read moreyears. When I had one replaced earlier this year, it was such a bad fit I couldn't even close my teeth together and it hurt if I bit down. The dentist blew me off, saying "some discomfort is normal" until I was sobbing, then decided to check the bite and low & behold it needed a ton of adjustment. I complained for the past year about a tooth where food was getting stuck between it and my gums. They told me "make sure to floss" - thanks, I do. Said tooth finally chipped and they told me there's a big cavity. Really? Why didn't you find it at any of my previous appointments where I complained about it and had x rays done? Of course it took them 3 weeks after it chipped to even see me to tell me that. And they didn't even schedule me an appointment where they could do anything about it because they had too many other people scheduled at that time. What? What was even the purpose of this appointment then? They told me to come back another day then promptly cancelled my appointment even though I responded yes to their email confirmation. Apparently it's policy now that they need phone confirmation, but no one bothered to communicate that to me, and I work a job where I can't have a phone on me all day, so of course I missed the call when they tried to let me know an hour and a half before the deadline to confirm. I am done here. I would rather drive two hours to get to another in-network dentist than waste any more time or money here. UPDATE: They did give me my appointment time back last minute. I couldn't make it on time (I work far away), and they still saw me even though I was an hour late. And FWIW, the dentist I saw today was very considerate towards me compared to the one I saw in January. Unfortunately, part of the way their office works is you don't get a say in which dentist you see.

She was quoted under $200.00. When she arrived at her appoint ment today. The office was incapable of opening the email with her x-rays and told her that will be another $200 plus. She will need to have the doctor look in her mouth for another $100 plus. So the cleaning will be over $550.00. We had used this office before with great results, and found out today the office was sold since December and have now policies. Ww will not be using the services here or returning.
