I have yet to have a positive experience here. Both crowns they did for me lasted less than 4 years. When I had one replaced earlier this year, it was such a bad fit I couldn't even close my teeth together and it hurt if I bit down. The dentist blew me off, saying "some discomfort is normal" until I was sobbing, then decided to check the bite and low & behold it needed a ton of adjustment. I complained for the past year about a tooth where food was getting stuck between it and my gums. They told me "make sure to floss" - thanks, I do. Said tooth finally chipped and they told me there's a big cavity. Really? Why didn't you find it at any of my previous appointments where I complained about it and had x rays done? Of course it took them 3 weeks after it chipped to even see me to tell me that. And they didn't even schedule me an appointment where they could do anything about it because they had too many other people scheduled at that time. What? What was even the purpose of this appointment then? They told me to come back another day then promptly cancelled my appointment even though I responded yes to their email confirmation. Apparently it's policy now that they need phone confirmation, but no one bothered to communicate that to me, and I work a job where I can't have a phone on me all day, so of course I missed the call when they tried to let me know an hour and a half before the deadline to confirm. I am done here. I would rather drive two hours to get to another in-network dentist than waste any more time or money here. UPDATE: They did give me my appointment time back last minute. I couldn't make it on time (I work far away), and they still saw me even though I was an hour late. And FWIW, the dentist I saw today was very considerate towards me compared to the one I saw in January. Unfortunately, part of the way their office works is you don't get a say in which dentist you see. read more

He wanted to use partials( cheap costumish things with protruding sharp wires) leading me to believe that he cared more about $ than patients. He left in decayed teeth( he said they were ok) to use as anchors( fail!). I have been in pain for most of 10 mo since that horrific day. Every filling they did on me fell out or broke off. They tried to go good on one then the repair job broke off. They ultimately said I grind my teeth at night. I dont. the only reason I'm doing this is cause another one I had done not 6 months ago just came undone. They suck! read more

As a former medical professional, I will not tolerate body shaming, which I was subjected to. I have considerable dental issues and knew that I needed help. I had an x-ray in March and had transportation issues so I was not able to follow through until August. When I called to make an appointment and told them I was in considerable pain, the receptionist I spoke to told me that if I had followed through earlier I wouldn't be in pain and that I would have to get an authorization from my doctor before they could be scheduled. I called my doctor's office, and they wanted authorization to remove all of my teeth, when I only had two that were bothering me! One of the reasons why you go to a dentist is because you have a problem you want to resolve, not to have the receptionist be judgmental of your problem and dental issues! My first encounter with Aspen was great. I needed my tooth pulled, I came in and the doc pulled my tooth straight away and did a fantastic job. All good. This time around about a year later, was a complete waste of time and money. You have to understand that this place operates around a business model that only cares about profits and making money. In order to do this they will run you around with taking extra xrays and exams trying to get you to come back. They do NOT operate like a hometown dental service where you have a toothache or need a tooth extraction so you schedule an appoint to go get that fixed. No, not at all. I made an appointment to get my filling fixed because it was loose so they end up trying to get me to come back for cleanings so on and so forth. Anyway, thinking I'm going to go get my tooth fixed they end up giving me and exam and xrays that I didn't even need and cost me $150.00 out of pocket. I was not a happy camper to have to come back after a 40 minute drive. So they scheduled me for 10 days out. Well, I couldn't make the appointment and when I called to change it they tell me I can't get in till March!??? Really!? This place is an absolute fiasco. Do yourself a favor, stick close to home and find a neighborhood dentist that is there for you and your dental needs. These people are caught up in a system that is definitely NOT patient centered...for Aspen it's all about the money. Please do NOT try this place, there's a good chance you will not be happy with the outcome. I have done regular dental cleaning for decades and my co payment minimal. I have done $100 or less without dental insurance. Aspen Dental charged more than $ 800 for regular dental teeth cleaning. I believe they should have told me the expenses before regular dental teeth cleaning. Aspen Dental charged $700 for my dental insurance and more than $120 for out of pocket expense. All expenses have been paid and additional bills have been send by Aspen Dental for unknown charges. If you like to get rip off, Aspen Dental is the place to go. read more

Brought family member here for dentures. Surgery part was fine, temp dentures as expected. Final dentures not so much. After several attempts we gave up and had a retired tech fix them, paid cash. He was done in a day, family member can finally function as normal. I had previous positive experience with dif Aspen, very disappointing. 8/9/18 So I sat on this review for a few months hoping it would change. It did: it got worse! Made HUGE mistake by financing through them, with Comity (?sp). I paid off $2000+ March 1, bill due March 21. In full. To the penny. They added a $6.48 finance charge that grew exponentially to 38$ in June, I called and was assured it was removed . July a bill for $72+ shows up, back on the phone for another hour. I had a wonderful experience at this office as a new patient! Everyone was so nice and helpful and did anything they possibly could to accommodate me. Very disappointed in this dentist. Went in for filling and was told eventually would need a crown. I opted to have crown. The lady dentist was very nice and did a good job. I had left my other dentist who is wonderful due to insurance changes. What a mistake. My tooth was hurting really bad almost immediately after the Novocaine wore off. Went in told it didn't need a root canal and was given antibiotics. Saw the dentist for 1 minute. Didn't even get to ask him questions. Went in for my permanent crown, doctor had left was told he'd be right back, I left after an hour of waiting and rescheduled. Went in to get the permanent crown, requested Novocaine because I was afraid it would hurt was told they prefer not to do it. Tooth hurt so bad I was crying. Did Novocaine after he put the new crown on only because the kind assistant asked. I did get a script for pain meds and antibiotics. On the way out office staff told me to call if it was still hurting, doctor leaves at noon. I called at 11 was told I would get a call back (I was crying on the phone...I'm not a baby I had a baby with no pain meds)...didn't get a call back, drove to office after making an appointment at my old dentist for second opinion. Waited for 10 to 15 minutes before we were told the doctor was on his way to the ferry but would call in a stronger pain med. I was told if it didn't get better to call Monday. Got the new pain meds, still crying. Saw my old dentist and what do you know? I needed a root canal, nasty stuff came out when they did it. I'm now in no pain. My old dentist office actually cared that I was in pain and bent over backwards to make it happen today so I didn't suffer over the weekend. Will not go here and wouldn't recommend it to even my worst enemy. I will be contacting the office when they reopen. I will say the front desk staff and the hygienist are nice. read more
