I called 96 hours in advance, but when I spoke to the front desk, I was met with rude behavior. The receptionist asked, "So, what are you going to do, pay or not?" and questioned why I couldn't make the appointment. Now, as I'm writing this review, someone from the office called me, clearly upset that I left negative feedback. She was just as rude as the front desk staff. She called me on my cell, but I couldn't answer because I was at work. Then, she proceeded to call my workplace and harass me, attempting to bribe me into taking down my reviews. When I explained that I left messages on Thursday and Friday, she said those days "don't count," and I was left frustrated by the confusing and unclear policies. It's troubling that they seem to feel it's acceptable to treat customers poorly but will go to great lengths to harass them if they leave an honest review. If I had called the day of my appointment, I would've understood a cancellation fee, but I gave plenty of notice. The way I've been treated, including being harassed at work, is completely unacceptable. Please be cautious when considering this place. Don't let poor treatment slide just because of a polished online presence.

The post operative instructions were practical and easy to follow. Dr. Scholes uses state of the art technology including a CT scanner and an ultrasonic depth instrument so he knows exactly what to expect. I sure hope I don't need any more implants but if I do, this is the place I will go.

I actually decided on this office due to a positive Yelp review from Meg K. and was happy to learn my insurance was accepted as well. The consultation was very informative and I didn't feel pressured into doing more than needed for the grafting, so I decided to move forward in getting my surgery done by Dr. Tandy. Last Friday I had my first of two rounds of grafting done and it went better than I anticipated. The staff here is just great. Very professional, understanding, fun, and helpful. Dr. Tandy, Christie, and Sadia are all amazing and I am actually excited to see them soon for my next round. Reasons why this office is wonderful: 1. You get this awesome complimentary Shea Butter Lip Balm which appears to be custom made by Dr. Tandy. 2. The Relaxation Room is so cool! There is an awesome massage chair, tranquil music, and even blankets to keep you relaxed prior to surgery. 3. The staff is so much fun! While still completely professional, I can't stop laughing while I am visiting due to all of their jokes :) 4. Dr. Tandy and her team take their time in explaining each detail and really take into consideration all medical history prior to scheduling surgery to make sure nothing conflicts. They called before each session to make sure that we were all on the same page. I love their thoroughness! 5. They are very understanding in rescheduling. Dr. Price wishes he were an oral surgeon so badly that, in my experience, he was willing to…read morerepresent himself to me as an oral surgeon and use me like a guinea pig for procedures that ultimately changed my face and dental health forever. If I could leave -10 stars, I would. I trusted Dr. Price because I believed what I was being told about his qualifications and the treatment being recommended to me. I consented to procedures believing I was in the hands of someone qualified to perform the type of surgical treatment being proposed. Had I understood then what I understand now, I would NEVER have allowed this treatment to proceed without consulting an oral and maxillofacial surgeon first. Nearly two years later, I am still living with the consequences every single day. My face will never be the same. I have been left with a defect/socket in my upper arch. I am missing my front teeth and stuck wearing a flipper. My lower teeth have been flared and pushed forward. I have a food trap between #30 and #31. I have gone from specialist to specialist trying to figure out how--or whether--my face, teeth, bite, and smile can even be restored. This isn't a bad cosmetic result that I can simply forget about. I live with it every time I look in the mirror, eat, speak, smile, or put my flipper in my mouth. I pursued a malpractice claim because of what happened to me. Meanwhile, I am the one who has spent two years searching for answers, getting additional opinions and trying to determine what surgeries or reconstructive options are even possible. I originally sought treatment because I wanted a relatively small area corrected. I never imagined that decision would lead me here. Now I am facing the possibility of extensive reconstruction, potentially even an All-on-4 solution, just to get out of a removable flipper and have functional teeth again. The people involved in my treatment get to continue with their lives and practices. I don't get to walk away from what happened. I carry the result on my face every single day. Before allowing Dr. Price--or ANY provider--to perform significant surgical, bone-grafting, implant, periodontal, or reconstructive procedures, I strongly encourage patients to independently verify the provider's credentials and specialty and obtain opinions from appropriately trained specialists. Do not simply assume that the person recommending the surgery is the right specialist to perform it. I wish more than anything that someone had given me that advice before I trusted Dr. Price with my face.
