    Almost escaped!
    Melissa H.

Just got home from almost escaping! Took my 13 year old son and his three friends and they had a blast! Very fun and challenging. Always looking for fun, new, interesting things for them to do and this was definitely it! Very affordable prices compared to other places. Brooklyn was very helpful, kind, and patient. We will definitely be back!

We had such a great experience here! This was both of our first times trying out an escape room, and we'll be back for sure(: They took us in as a last minute walk in, and we were greeted with a warm smile by the lady working there who was patient while she answered all of our questions! Also was very helpful, 10/10 recommend!

I would give less stars if I could. I worked here and I have to say the owner Adam does not care about his business. he did not care about paying his employees or actually fixing the issues with the rooms themselves. We had multiple issues with the locks on the "iron man" room to the point where the manager (a 17 year old girl) had to scale a wall because the owner Adam wouldn't fix them. Not to mention the fact that they are horribly overpriced, the puzzles don't make sense without hints & the employees are severely underpaid. Oh but on the bright side they do have fun contests where employees can win extra money! Unless you win more than one and then the owner "forgets" about the contest. So you have to get a second job to support yourself and they start taking you off the schedule and fire you because you "abandoned your job" instead of just paying you a livable wage. Don't waste your money. They charge you for the things you "break" as well. here's a little secret: if the employee didn't notice something broken before the last group left & you touch it during your time, they'll say you broke it and charge you for it! Plus none of the rooms are soundproof so you can hear everyone in the other rooms. Find a better escape room.

My husband and I came in tonight for a spur of the moment escape room challenge. We were lucky to be able to get in right away. Our room was the Warwick room, it was Harry Potter themed, spells and wands and such. To our surprise it was soooo challenging. Even with hints we still weren't able to complete the room. But it was definitely fun trying. We are actually in line to try their Stark room next just to get our W for the night. Wish us luck. I 10/10 recommend if your looking for something to do.

The new owner doesn't pay his employees and the rooms always have broken puzzles. If you want to not have fun, this is the place for you.

I recently went with a group of 7 and we took on the Prison Break Room. You're essentially locked into two separate cells at the beginning and your party is split into two teams. You need to rely on eachother's clues to move on to the subsequent rooms. Each room came with a hint buzzer in case you get stumped. Honestly, we could've pressed it more as this was a tough one, but we let our egos win haha. I loved seeing the attention to detail across this set of escape rooms. There were prison jumpsuits, secret compartments, a spooky boiler room, and library straight out of a murder mystery movie. Unfortunately, we didn't escape this one! However, for those who do escape, you're eligible to buy exclusive shirts for that specific challenge. There's merch available even if your don't win, I bought a cool trucker hat and a chess piece pin symbolizing "Prison Break" to commemorate this moment. Note, "Prison Break" is the game at the highest difficulty level. I'd suggest doing it only if you're with escape room veterans. Otherwise, there's other rooms you can try at a lower difficulty level. The guy at the cash register was AMAZING, I loved his vibe and he had excellent taste. He had also bought the trucker hat I selected! My only suggestion for improvement is that the rules could've been explained to us better, our host was a little too rushed and she left some things out. Overall, I'd highly recommend this chain of escape rooms! I found out they have other locations across SoCal.

The qualities of all the rooms are amazing - there's so much thought and effort put into building all the rooms. Experience: I want to call out our game masters - Alyse and Vienna were amazing! They were so friendly and helpful, answering all the questions that we had. It was a joy to have them as GMs. Overall, I loved all three rooms - the puzzles, decorations, and story were all great! Inside Job: This room has a minimum for 5 people which makes sense because there's so many puzzles you can do which is perfect! I appreciated the variety of puzzle that they had and it was nice because everyone was always working on something. This is also super unique since it's a former bank! Definitely worth the try! Villains Vendetta: This room is a lot smaller compared to knightfall and Inside job but it utilized the space well. There were so many puzzles - some easy, some challenging. It was super fun and I loved the theming and decorations. Knightfall: If you're into medieval themed rooms, this is the room for you! I loved the interactive pieces through out the room. Similar to the other rooms, there are multiple things you can work on which makes it more satisfying for larger groups. Price: Average price for an escape room. I would say it's pretty affordable and there are deals often! Parking: There is plenty of parking - we had no issues finding parking.

There are a few and we ultimately decided to come here and try Mutiny: Skull Island. They are located on the second floor of The River, which is an outdoor shopping center in Rancho Mirage. The majority of the parking lot on their side of the center is mostly covered and keeps your car out of the hot sun. There is a very interesting elevator you take up to the second floor. Their lobby is spacious and it is nice and cool inside. There are several comfy seats and a couch as well a cold water machine while you wait. I would say this room is mostly non-linear, but with a few linear elements as well. A group could definitely split up to work on different parts of the room. It is very immersive, and the décor is excellent and perfectly fits the theme. There are quite a few locks and the method by which clues are given is great. The production quality of the last part of this room is amazing and close to something you might find at a theme park. If you happen to escape, the ending is great and dramatic as well. It was only the two of us, and we escaped with only a minute or two to spare. Our game master was very helpful and friendly. When you exit the room, you will go out of a different door than the entrance, but it is just right across from the entrance door. For only two people doing a room, they are very reasonably priced at only $42 per person. This was a very fun room and we will definitely try some of their other rooms when in the area again.
