We had a small wedding (about 75 guests) with a lot of young kids and babies. I could not be happier with Nawakwa as a wedding venue. The entire camp is gorgeous, as are the surrounding woods and mountains, and the ceremony site in particular was breathtaking - the photographer couldn't get enough pictures of everything. Even more important, the entire staff was tremendously kind, helpful, and friendly, from the manager Patrick ("Puzzle") to everyone who prepared our meals, ran the programs, and generally kept the camp running. Our guests couldn't say enough good things about the entire weekend. We live two hours away in Los Angeles so we weren't able to make frequent trips to Nawakwa before the wedding to see to things in person, but Patrick was extremely accommodating and communicative over phone and email so we were able to have everything in place even though we were planning at a distance. I absolutely recommend Nawakwa to anyone looking for a beautiful, rustic wedding venue that's also very family-friendly. (I'll add photos once they come back from the photographer.)

If you are racist or prejuidice against a certain group of people FINE but PLEASE ANNOUNCE THAT so that group of people don't spend their money! I get to the place, and the people don't even greet me but greet the group in front of me. Ok fine, maybe they didn't see me... ok. next the cashier gives a trio in front of me a discount due to their race. now I should have left then but you know what it's the high desert, I just wanted to push through. Last, we are down in our activities, and we smell of popcorn, I look around and see every group with popcorn, complementary popcorn at that except me and my partner. im Not a confrontational person but thinking that since I'm not only spending money buying drink after trip but I'm also TIPPING I would think they would have been a better establishment. My family and I had so much fun here. The place is clean, and the workers are very attentive. They should think about adding more restrooms, as there is only one of each. So if the place has a lot of people, the wait could be long, and you will loose precious playing time. They dont serve much food (just chips and drinks I think), so come full, or bring your own. When our time ran out on our lane, we enjoyed a couple games of pool and foosball. Only one table of each but, hopefully when they expand, they will add more, and this will definitely be a family favorite! read more

I had the best experience for the first time here. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. What a great place to spend a couple hours unwinding from a long week. We had lots of laughs learning to throw an axe. We had a couple beers and the time just flew by. Next time we are bringing our friends for a little competition. I wanted some niche items like a hiking backpack and a fishing pole. I know Build-A-Bear is catered towards children, so they don't have certain clothing options, but a dedicated sports section would be great. To help target the most-wanted accessories, my top suggestions would be: a hiking backpack, a fishing pole, and a karate gi. These would be fun for both kids and adults, and I think customers would really enjoy having more variety in themes and activities for their bears. It's great that they offer scents that say they last up to 10 months, and the personal voice notes are supposed to last for 10k clicks, and you can return to the store to have the batteries changed when a recording no longer plays. It was a great experience. I love the little ad for the YouTube channel, and it feels like a great experience for kids and adults. They had a few bears under $20. I saw a $14 birthday bear with happy birthday on the underside of its feet and a $16 bear. During my visit, they had a buy one get one for $15 sale. They also had a buy a $10 gift card for $5 with any purchase. I was happy, curious, and satisfied. I would compare it to a quarter of the feeling I get when I go to Disneyland. It was a very pleasant experience. There were several new things, like the voice recordings: magnetic vs the old one, and there was no name on the birth certificate, but you can write it in at home. I prefer the old way because it looks better aesthetically. If someone has a super long bear name or a nsfw name or something that's private, then yes, maybe having the option of writing it at home is better, but for regular cute bear names, having the option to add the name at the store would be great. The bear housing is no longer included with the purchase of a bear. It is called a "condo," and it is $1, whereas a Build-A-Bear paper bag is now included in the purchase of a bear. I love the exterior of both, as I've always wanted to color them. They're basically a coloring book. Overall, I'm happy with the products and the experience. I feel the products are of good quality. My family was happy to receive the bears and did not mention the external noise in their recording. They were happy to hear my voice. I'm glad the gifts were well received, but I still think the recording situation can be a bit clearer.

I had a great 4 star experience renting space at The Dome on Nisqualli. We urgently needed two…read moreseparate offices to take a two-hour Zoom meeting and called them a few hours prior. Curt was incredibly helpful and accommodating right from the start. Payment via credit card was seamless, and the process was super easy. Curt even texted us a map of the office building and clearly directed us on which rooms to use. The office itself has a nice aesthetic, very modern with a white and gray color scheme and sleek glass tables. The chairs were perfectly comfortable, though they did have some noticeable scratches and patches on them from use. I really appreciated the amenities in my room; there was a printer you could easily connect to via an app if you needed to print, and the thermostat was zone-controlled for that specific room, meaning I could set the temperature exactly to my liking. My only real critique and suggestion for improvement is to install actual locks on the office doors. While I was in the middle of my important meeting, someone barged right into the room, even though the light on top of the door was glowing red to indicate it was occupied. Obviously, this isn't the fault of the owners, but people are idiots and don't pay attention to indicator lights. It was highly disruptive, especially when the entire purpose of renting a private conference room was to ensure I could be in a meeting completely undisturbed. Aside from that one hiccup, Curt was wonderful and very pleasant to do business with. It's a fantastic, modern workspace option, and with a simple lock addition, it would be absolutely perfect!

Further, the dance floor was elevated and posed a tripping hazard. During the first hour of the event I attended one person fell on the floor and several others tripped. No one from the management bothered to approach the person that fell. During the event music from the DJ was over 96 decibels and when I approached the DJ to let them know it was too loud and ask if they could please turn it down because it was over 96 decibels they simply looked at me and ignored it.
