Tri-tip, smoked chicken, Hawaiian bread and smoked Brussels sprouts.

I have had the pleasure of experiencing the bbq yard both as a customer and as an invited guest of pit master Renea and here are my takeaways. Corporate bonding Event: From beginning to end, you are treated well and feel as part of the experience. Hands on from preparation, what cutlery to use, how to pick and prepare your meats, seasoning, and preparing your grill. Everyone is encouraged to take part in preparation and every safety precaution taken. No Burns! You are taught controlling your grill temperature as Pitmaster Renea meticulously watches over each attendee and interacts with questions about your experience and what you feel your weaknesses are grilling. After grilling and smoking we have a community feast and everyone laughed and talked about their favorite parts of the day. I still have clients ask about the next outting scheduled. Dinner Guest: The attention to detail is in every aspect of the evening. A great date night location. Great food and atmosphere. Relaxing homey venue with night lighting, smell of smoking meats and dinner by the pool.

Couldn't have asked for a better pit master teacher! Renea teaches with passion and care. She is patient and detailed in every step. Would highly recommend!!

I got to make tri tip!

On top of being a champion Pit Master, the owner Renea is an incredible host and a phenomenal teacher. I have attended several of her BBQ classes and keep bringing friends and family to each one. Wherever I travel I have to try BBQ, and this is THE BEST BBQ I'VE EVER HAD (honestly, my mouth is watering as I'm writing this thinking about when I can go back and have more). The best part is that she showed me how to make it! And don't be turned away if you're a vegetarian either because I have vegetarian friends who also love coming here because the classes involve several equally delicious sides, and even non-meat options like Veggie Meatballs! Her classes range in time depending on the dish, but there is always entertainment or something to do. Some meat might take an hour or so to smoke, but that time is then used to make the sides. So it's always timed perfectly with some appetizers to get you warmed up and drooling for the main event. Renea does a fantastic job of collaborating with other groups to create amazing events, on top of classes. She's hosted some non-profit events and very romantic date nights. Renea is a very humble owner as well. She loves winning competitions and bettering herself and she knows that the best way to do that is to get helpful feedback and improve from there. In her classes, she really wants to know honest opinions so she can know how to give her guests the best experience possible. I haven't even mentioned yet how beautiful her home is. As soon as you enter the front gate you'll be blown away by the path leading to the house. You might even see some of their horses. The classes are held in the back yard where there are plenty of smokers to learn about as well as a custom-built brick pizza oven. I will continue to attend every class possible and you should too. :)

Renea and Daniel taught us SO MUCH! They were super welcoming, friendly, and patient when teaching us their pizza making and BBQ techniques. What better way to learn?! And all while eating yummy appetizers. It was such a nice experience for my family and I. I can confidently say we would take another BBQ workshop in a heartbeat from Renea and Daniel. Best BBQ ribs and tri-tip we have ever had!

What an awesome experience and intimate setting. Vintage ranch style home on a acre beautiful grounds. Renea is a Pit master & bbq extraordinaire! Daniel her husband is so warm & hospitable! They're are a unique couple! This is a must if you've never been & want to learn about smoking & grilling. We'll be back.

My husband and I attended the tri-tip class. I loved the set up. The backyard was beautiful and it was cool to see the different types of smokers/equipment on site. The class is hands on and very informative. Everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable. Our appetizers and tri-tip turned were fantastic. We couldn't eat it all. We definitely want to come back and try more classes.

It was very obvious that Chef Alex had conducted multiple corporate team building events as well as being a skilled/seasoned chef. We had 22 people for our team building event and there was plenty of space for us to each have our own cooking stations (teams of two) and there was ample seating for all of us to enjoy the fruits of our labors after the cooking was completed. We prepared thai food for our event and, WOW, was it amazing. I mean (literally), this was the best thai food that I'd ever had and this is coming from someone who's wife says "you eat way too much thai food!" The very tasty food is a testament to how well run this place is because we are just a bunch of accountants but we also apparently have an inner self that knows how to cook thai food. Overall, this place is clean, fun, there is ample parking and I would highly recommend. If this place wasn't so far from me, I'd definitely go back on a date night with my wife.

Chef Alex was absolutely amazing. He was incredibly accommodating, especially with our very last-minute booking request (less than a week's notice). Throughout the entire event, he was patient, kind, and engaging with the boys. He took the time to guide them at each cooking station, clearly explaining what to do and then letting them take over and experience it hands-on. He created a really fun, relaxed environment where the kids felt confident and involved. We all trusted the process, and the food turned out fantastic--but even more than that, the boys had a blast doing it. It was the perfect mix of learning, teamwork, and fun. I would highly recommend this experience for any team-building event, youth sports team, or even private parties like birthdays. It's interactive, memorable, and really well-run. Thank you again, Chef Alex, for an amazing afternoon! -- San Marino Little League All-Star Team

It was our first time and they made us feel extremely welcomed and invited. That's a HUGE green flag in my book. You want to be around people excited about their job and what they do. When I went to pick up my friend's kid, he was very excited for what he cooked. I got to try some of the pizza he made and honestly, the crust was better than a lot of the pizza joints out there and the crust I've made before. He's in the older class (pre teens and teens) and seemed to enjoy cooking with them. Afterwards, the front desk told us about the different classes and programs. We got the recipe for this week and past weeks so we can try them at home as some of the items caught my eye. He loved the class and will be going back. If your kid has an eye on cooking and wants to learn, I'd definitely sign them up here. It's always good to have some hands on help to ask questions and learn. Wish they had more classes and we missed out on sign ups for the summer. It's $40 a class or 4 weeks is $145 I believe. 90 minute classes. Since they already have the ingredients and everything, it's worth the price.
