I attended the Atlanta Black Girls Book Fair. The store was very cute and well organized. I was able to pick up a cute tote bag and a couple other my friends purchased books for their kids. The book fair was lively with variety of vendors. They even had a cute selfie stand. I look forward to making more purchases in the future.

Seating is a bit limited, so something to keep in mind. The manager was nice & personable. Overheard me & my writer friend talking about his comic book series (Scarlet Ranger x Ro Lamb), so he inquired about the series and they had an engaging conversation while I browsed the bookstore. The price of the books are market price. There's a paid parking lot the next block over---look for the blue "P" on your left, I paid $10 for an unlimited amount of time. The Cultural Center has always been known for its solid selection of books dealing with the Pan African experience. In addition, they offer a good selection of African ceremonial masks, instruments, and wood sculptures. Also, connected to the bookstore is an African Holocaust Museum. I've been going to the bookstore since I was in college and they always have the popular titles and the classics. I went in recently looking for a copy of Tony Browder's 'Nile Valley Contributions to Civilization' (btw - never loan books with the intention of getting them back). They did not have it in stock, but quickly called a 'competitor', determined they had the book, and directed me there. that tells you something about how they conduct business. And unlike the members of the church that wear red and black to the Sunday services, you only need green when you visit the Culture Center. Go here and buy something to raise your consciousness.

It was also awesome getting to meet Yelp Atlanta's Community Manager, Erica E! Two Best Friends Cafe and Books is definitely a hidden gem. It's a little tricky to find at first (I got turned around), but it's worth it. The space is cozy, welcoming, and perfect for a coffee shop/bookstore vibe. I ordered a green tea from their limited menu for the yelp event--it was only $3, good quality, and the service was friendly. Great experience overall. Supported a local business, discovered talented artists, and made some good memories. 5 stars!

There is a mini bar area plus a small stage. A modern day apothecary, the Bookstore Gallery offers THCA products, juices, dabs, pre-rolls and edibles and more. Staff was super helpful and patiently explained what was what. I enjoyed my time here and will be back.

I had picked something out online but didn't order it because I wanted to see it in person. When I couldn't find it, the college student who worked there helped me look for it. She said that sometimes there are things online that aren't in the store. Instead of walking away, she helped me look for something comparable in the correct size. They have moved since I was last at school and for the better! It is now located at Emory Village. They have formed a partnership with Barnes and Nobles so the first floor was like a mini B&N store, the third floor had all the clothing wear and accessories. The place was just magnificent. This was a great shopping pleasure and next time I'm in town I have to explore the campus a bit more.
