Today I went to impressions bridal to look at wedding dresses. Shelley was my consultant and she was phenomenal! She was very attentive and listened to what I nitpicked at each dress I tried on. As I tried on the third dress, I instantly fell in love. I did nitpick at it and wanted to add more to it. Shelly listened and worked her magic and was able to provide me with a wonderful options to add to my wedding dress and discounted too (military). This was the last of four appointments I had booked today; so let me start this review by summing up the first two. The first appointment was great, the stylist was sweet and helpful, the atmosphere was intimate and pleasant, but didn't find "the one." The second had some good dresses, but the stylist made me feel like I inconvenienced her by even showing up... she got irritated when my girls and I looked for a couple minutes and were finding a good selection. She told me I "have plenty" and took me to the back without inviting my girls along (they eventually, and confusedly, came back to find me). To "fit" the dresses she would either just grab at It while I looked in the mirror or would stand and watch while I pulled on It myself to tighten spots... and just handed me dresses to put on myself. Made my sister feel dumb for a (good) suggestion she made. You get the picture. We called Impression Bridal to see if we could move our appointment up to an earlier time (so we could get the heck out of #2). SO... Needless to say, I was feeling discouraged, stressed and annoyed by the time we reached Impression Bridal. We were all impressed with how nice this place was from the moment we walked in. It would have been nice to get a smile from the reception desk, but It was quickly made up for once we began meeting others. My stylists were Heather and Joe (training), and they immediately made me feel better. They were equally professional as they were fun! I was a little confused when we were taken straight to a dressing room - we'd helped pick out the selections at the other salons, but Heather really seemed to know what she was doing and told me to trust her. I was floored at the selection she brought! Even her "wild card" pick was amazing! She interviewed me initially to get to know me and figure me out. She really listened to what I said and It was especially evident in her picks. In the dressing room they were both so helpful, paired each dress with appropriate undergarments to give me the full effect, clipped everything back to give me a great fit, entertained me with great conversation and really helped guide me to the perfect dress without ever being pushy. Joe mentioned It was his first day, but he jumped right in and was making great suggestions and really seems like he's going to be amazing at his job! And get this... when we found an "almost" dress they began customizing It with added pieces, essentially building me a custom dress while staying in my budget! The wait for paper work was a little long but I know they had some extra work to do with the customization and since Joe was training... we didn't mind though since the rest of the experience was so top notch! (My only suggestion in that case would be to offer guests a water bottle or something while they wait, but not a big deal!) Finally, when I'd been measured and finished my paperwork I second guessed the size on my order. I felt bad asking for more time but they were so sweet, let me try on again, and even called in a second opinion (a manager I believe), who was ALSO so sweet and helpful! They checked a few things out on the dress, talked again with me about sizing and allowed me to change my option, all with huge smiles and easygoing attitudes. This store does have a great selection. However, I felt like the dress I tried on was nothing like the dress that came in for me. It didn't sparkle nearly as much and even though they measured my body, the dress they ordered was so big I didn't even have to unzip it. It just came right up. I was devastated. They assured my that it would fit me for my wedding. I went every week to get it sized and every time they would take in 2 inches. Now the seamstress is amazing, the very large dress no longer did it for me. It was my "this is it" tears moment dress, and all I could do was hold back my tears when that larger dress came in. They thought that by putting cups...very large cups, would help...yeah very un natural but I had no choice. Now I look at my photos and I tear up thinking....I hate that dress.... I came at the recommendation of two of my other best friends who got their wedding dresses here. The experience was great, and I have now visited 5 different bridal salons to be able to compare. I was able to request an appointment online, which I'm always a fan of since I'm always at a computer and also as I think of things (often in the middle of the night after places are closed), I am able to pull up a website and send a message. My appointment on a Friday afternoon started on time, and I had just come from another bridal salon in the area. The dressing and display area was very open, and I loved the 360 mirror situation. At the last salon, I felt crammed and I was sweating while trying on dresses because it was so hot. Not at Impression. There was so much space to pull on and take off the dresses and for us to study myself in the mirrors. My stylist, Michelle, was fantastic. She listened to what I wanted. I liked so many of the dresses and ultimately found the unanimous favorite. The favorite ended up being a style that I would have never picked out on my own, yet it brought a unique element to the style I was going for. And most importantly, Michelle stayed within my budget that I asked for with most, if not all, of the dresses I tried on. Even after the appointment, Michelle followed up with me via email and answered many of my questions. My consultant was Valerie and she was wonderful. She was not pushy, I told her what I was looking for and she let me and my maid of honor pick out some dresses while she picked one she thought was best. I have been dress shopping for a very long time and she is the only person to ask me how I wanted to feel while walking down the aisle. I told her beautiful and sexy lol. Needless to say I tried all the dresses that we picked and Valerie saved her pick for last, hers was the one I chose! She was very personable and friendly, I recommend anyone setting an appointment to request her. She had the vision for my dress lol. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because my bridesmaids ordered there dresses from here and alterations suggested they order a size up, their dresses came in and they are almost swimming in them lol. I had the best experience here. I tried a few other shops before this one, and none of the other shops had a selection quite like Impression. My budget was 1,000 and there were so many options! I love how the gowns are separated by style, and they aren't hung in bags. This makes shopping so much easier!! Karyn really listened to me, understood my style/taste, and helped me to find the perfect gown for my wedding. I had the gown altered here as well, which was also a great experience. I wound up losing too much weight right before the wedding so my dress was a little big on me, but the structure of the dress kept it from being noticeable. I received so many compliments! I had the most amazing experience at Impression Bridal! I wish I had gone here when I was originally dress shopping back in February. Our original destination beach wedding had to be modified due to COVID so we decided to have a small family wedding at the last minute. So, as soon as I walked in, the environment was spacious, clean, and very professional looking. I was greeted by the manager, Jenn and she was super friendly. My consultant was Mary; she did a great job at getting to know me and setting me up. I love how after she got me into my first dress she even accessorize me with their jewelry and even a veil! She asked me how I was going to do my hair for the day and we tried to make it as realistic for the day as possible. My experience on trying on wedding dresses at Impressions was wonderful; the manager even took her time to give me her opinions to see which ones look better on me. They made It really difficult for me to choose the right dress because I loved all 3 that I tried on. This place was awesome! Shelby was my sister's stylist and was perfect! My sister had tried on dresses at another vendor and we had a terrible experience. We came to Impression Bridal and Shelby and the staff at Impression Bridal we very patient and accommodating of our large group. My sister was never rushed nor was she pressured to get something she didn't want. She tried on so many dresses then narrowed it down to three tried those on another two times she was given belts and head pieces to make the whole thing come together. Absolute worse bridal shop I have ever been to. The person helping the bride told a previous bridal party to leave because their bride had found her dress and they were in the way (and those were the words that were used). Then when the bride I was with showed the sales person pictures of a dress she liked the sales person asked "well why didnt you just buy that one there, they dont have people who do alterations " I could go on and on about how horrible it was. I made the mistake of trying to go to David's Bridal, and was accosted by their sales team. Disgusted with the rude staff, i walked out, vowing to never darken the steps of David's again. Fast forward....I was in desperate need to find an affordable wedding dress...nothing too poofy or over the top, simple and elegant. In a world where people think that it's ok to spend thousands of dollars on a single dress with the delusions that getting married somehow makes you a princess, so money is no concern... makes my skin crawl. Anyways, the sales person was pretty nice. It was actually her last week there, but she was very attentive and was gracious to find me gowns within my price range. The store is definitely smaller than David's bridal, but the Bridal salon is clean, boutique-ish and have a wide variety of dresses... from a few hundred dollars upwards to tens of thousands... They also have a whole section in the back of bridemaids and special occassion dresses. They don't really have that many accessories or shoes, but they do have a great selection of bridal gowns to choose from. The sales team doesn't rush you, and they really work with you and what your needs are. I was of course, one of those difficult brides... I really fell in love with a bridesmaid's gown, and they helped me order extra fabric and lace, and got me in touch with their in house seamstress and together, we figured out how to re-construct the dress and make it into my dream wedding gown. They were all pretty excited about it to, as no one had ever done that, so everyone has their fingers crossed on what it will eventually turn out to look like. So, as most places go, wedding gowns have their own sizes... it was like the world was crashing down to go to such a high dress size... and when ordering, it takes practically a month for the dress to arrive, as they don't sell the floor samples, and the dresses have to be made overseas. They do have an in house seamstress that comes in twice a week for appointments. The best part of the store is probably for military. they do give a military discount (10%) and they also participate in Brides Across America... I believe it is a twice a year event, where if you or your fiance is Active Duty Military, recently deployed, you get a free wedding dress...no strings attached! I swear it! They participate in this event, so they get tons of new wedding dresses donated, and they give it away on a advertised date. You can look online for the program. I am Active Duty as well as my man, and I had to work all day. I ended up going there at the very end of the day, and there were still a handful of gowns left. A couple fit on me, and they pretty much forced me to take it, saying, it's free... So I now have 2 wedding dresses... Oh yeah, if anyone is interested, I would gladly donate the dress I got for free to someone in need. It's ivory and a size 16... I decided not to wear it, as I didn't want to spend more money trying to alter it to fit. it also comes with a matching veil and is already bustled. Since it was free, I can't really sell it, but I would definitely "pass it on". :) Check out the Bridal Salon, for the San Antonio area, it was one of the nicer ones I've been too. It's in the same complex-y area as the Alamo Draft House. Had a bit of a hard time finding it, but, like I said, it has a nice look, the staff were pretty nice and helpful, and the selection was great... who really wants to say they got their dress at David's Bridal anyway... how tacky. read more

This salon should be in Stone Oak or La Canterra!!!! I have visited this Bridal Salon twice. Once to check it out for my daughter, who has limited time to try on Gowns and second when my daughter tried on multiple gowns. I cannot tell you how pleased I was that they totally blew us away from the time I walked in to check them out to walking out the door after trying on gowns. Everyone from the receptionist to the manager was very accommodating. They were happy to show me the fitting rooms and staging areas and I was even encouraged to look through the gowns. My daughter is claustrophobic and they put us in their largest fitting room which was totally private. We loved our stylist, Mikaile, as she was extremely genuine and very patient. She listened to my daughter and had great suggestions.She never pushed the "mothers" out of the picture. She knew how to determine her needs in a very subtle way. They were not pushy and we had an amazing and very fun experience. I also should add that this Salon was very clean, roomy, and had an amazing selection of quality gowns to choose from. I wish I could recommend Impressions Bridal. When you walk into the store you are greeted with a beautiful space and lovely gowns organized by style. However our experience was less than stellar with the consultant. I was part of the bridal party shopping for one of my dearest friends. Our consultant was Sonja and she left a terrible taste in all of our mouths. She was pushy, did not listen (kept bringing out gowns that were the opposite of what my friend wanted) and dismissive of the bridal party and family of the bride. I understand it can be be frustrating to have a large entourage offering opinions to a bride, but I think the fact that we were mostly silent is very telling. The store is full of beautiful gowns, and if you should find yourself wanting to shop here, make sure and verify who your consultant is before the appointment begins. read more

This place was horrible and made my wife's best friends wedding a disaster. We expected a great experience and got the complete opposite. Impression's ordered the wrong dress for the maid of honor. It was ordered several sizes big. They did not offer any type of refund or discount for messing it up. They ordered everyone's dresses in the bridal party to big. Then alterations were needed and it was super expensive so they made extra money that way. All Brides maid dresses were glued instead of sewn. When we brought it up about the dresses being glued they didn't seem to care. Because they made wrong orders the Bride did not even get to pick the dresses Impressions did. They lacked professionalism and communication. We will never recommend anybody to this company. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Absolutely the worst experience and it's unfortunately still not over. My bridesmaids went in and ordered their dresses In June. We were quoted 12 weeks for normal delivery. They gave us the option for rush delivery which put us at 8 weeks. I paid for the rush for each dress. 8 weeks comes and no contact at all to us from impressions. I called 4 times before a manager finally got on the phone and told me the dresses were not here and not going to be here for yet another 4 weeks. They were not even going to call to provide us this update. Had we known it would take 12 weeks we would not have ordered the dresses. David's Bridal quoted the 12 weeks to us and we went to impressions because they offered the rush shipping. David's was half the price for much prettier dresses but we needed these done as quick as possible. They are offering $30 off alterations now when the dresses come in but my girls have their own seamstress who is obviously charging way less than impressions so the lousy $30 at this point is nothing for them. Dresses are well over $200 the $30 rush was paid by me just nothing done to compensate my girls or the fact that had we know it would take 12 weeks we would have never placed the order. We would have went back to David's. Hailey the manager has tried to be sweet but at this point im stressed I have girls upset who were promised these dresses a week ago and hailey has a manager she's constantly referring to that will never call me. DO NOT TRUST THIS BUSINESS.!!! The number one reason im so upset is because of the lack of communication. 4 times I had to call besides each of the girls calling daily for them to give us a straight answer. David's Bridal has dresses half the price and even nicer! The ONLY reason we didn't do David's was because they up front told us they could not do a rush order on the dresses we wanted. IMPRESSIONS has made these last 7 weeks before the wedding a nightmare. read more

Impression Bridal was added to my list because two [2] coworkers had recently found their dress there and said what a wonderful experience they had. Impression was my 2nd stop on "Tour de Wedding Dress" and when you walked in they instantly made you feel comfortable and a part of their family. Yes, there were a lot of other appointments taking place at the same time; but you wouldn't have known and it was fun interacting with the other brides and their loved ones. My sales associate was Shelby and she was FABULOUS! If you're going to be in a changing room stripping down for someone it was nice to have someone that made you feel comfortable and beautiful. One of the Store Managers was constantly swinging by to check on us which was extremely helpful and made me feel more confident. They both truly listened to what I had to say and got a grasp on what made me happy. They suggested things that I could customize on my dress as well and informed me how the whole process would go from trying on a dress to purchasing and through the wedding day. Another bonus was other store associates walking by and making comments on my dress and giving their positive feedback on my selection. One lady raved about my dress and how wonderful it looks after it gets fitted properly and it made me feel all warm and bubbly inside. Any company that handles brides and weddings deserves so much credit because every bride deserves to feel special 100% of the time. Shelby and the team truly made me feel like I was a part of their family and if at any point during the process I needed something, in regards to my dress, they would be there for me. This is one of the most important purchases for my wedding day and knowing my dress is in wonderful hands makes me feel more confident in my decision. Overall I am happy with my experience here. I walked in one Sunday afternoon before heading back to Dallas, not really expecting much, and found my dress! Jennifer helped me pick dresses in my price range. She was very helpful and attentive. At the same time she wasn't overbearing or pressuring me or my bridesmaids to buy anything. The dress selection here is far above anything you will find across the street at DB. BONUS: My seamstress who only works on bridal gowns says the dress is verryyy good quality. I will post pictures after my wedding. The reason I didn't give this place 5 stars is due to the other staff. I would describe their attitudes as cold and bothered, this is coming from a low maintenance bride. Again their customer service still isn't as bad as DB, but something they could easily improve on to take this place to the next level. I see another review mentioned it, so let me emphasize, do not size up! I know my size and I know European sizing as well. So when another stylist came in to do my measurements she very loosely measured my waist in an attempt to get me to size up I said no thanks. I'm a size 00, so no I will not be ordering a size 4. I'm so glad I went against her strong 'suggestion' because the dress fits great, and even has a little room to spare. I can't imagine what alterations would have cost if the body was too big. Since I live out of town I took my dress with me and went to a local seamstress, so I can speak to their in house seamstress. read more

Jennifer was the stylist I was introduced to by appointment. She sat with me, listened to me, and didn't make me feel bad about having to find a gown in such a short time frame & within my budget! I am having a short engagement and the past three bridal shops Gasp at my wedding date. Jennifer worked closely with me for over an hour and I left wishing I could take her with me to every store I may have to visit. Although, I didn't find my gown at Impression it wasn't because of the service! Jennifer was down on the floor pinching and pulling, fluffing, and not annoyed by my lack of love for the "wrong" dresses. Today my maid of honor and I went shopping for her dress. After going to a few boutiques and stores, we found THIS store through google. They had an AMAZING collection for my maid of honor to choose from!! I wish I had known about this store before I had bought my gown (although, it wouldn't matter because I LOVE my gown) but variety never hurts! From the moment we walked in, it was beautiful and clean. A hostess greeted us and showed us the way to the area we were looking for. There were SOOOO many options to choose from!! A woman named Sherry began to help us! She told us she had 30 years in the industry and immediately knew what dress size my friend was without having to ask her! My maid of honor is the ONLY person in my party so all I was looking for was a long formal black dress. Something she could look great in, compliment me, but look just as amazing!! After a long day we weren't sure which direction we were going but with Sherry's help we were guided into picking the dress within an hour!!! We received THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE all day long from her! It was as if my friend was the bride! She was getting the perfect amount of attention and made this experience so much fun!!! For something that started out so positive, it turned into a complete nightmare, and when I tried to address it with the manager the blame was placed back on me. Poor communication from employees, a lack of professionalism, and terrible customer service! In November of 2016 I took my bridesmaids in to get measured for their dresses. It took them 2 HOURS to measure 3 girls. My bridesmaids were less than impressed and I was embarrassed. Then while I was trying on my dress, the consultant made remarks that definitely didn't build my confidence as a bride (being compared to "a giant cream puff" isn't exactly the look I was going for as a bride). And yes, you read that right... She compared me to a pastry! That same day I tried to pay the remaining balance on my dress before we left the store, but I was told by the manager I could leave it there until I came back for my alterations. Today, I called to see when I needed to come back in and it was implied that I hadn't tried to pay the remaining balance, and was told that I needed to come get my dress as soon as possible! When I explained to the representative on the phone that the manager had told me I could leave the dress there, she told me I was lying and that no one would ever tell me that. Not only was I told I was wrong as a customer but when I spoke with the manager she just kept asking me what I wanted from her, as if I was just looking for handouts. I simply wanted an apology and to be told that this could be handled however that was not my experience. Now I have an unaltered/non-steamed dress, and I'm just praying my bridesmaids even get their dresses at this point. Save yourself the heartache and headache and go somewhere else!!! read more

Brides, if you are looking for a VIP treatment... beware of this place!! From the beginning of my bridal gown shopping experience, to the very end I felt like I was bothering them. My first initial visit was with Sonja. She was amazing, sweet, funny and extremely helpful. She knew exactly what I was looking for and helped me pick the perfect dress. I waited a bit to long to buy my dress but the manager and the assistant manager worked their magic to make sure I got my dress right when I needed it. This had to have been the best part of the experience. However, the girls at the front desk (not sure what her name is, but she has dyed red hair) were sarcastic, rude and acted like I was bothering her!! When I went in for my first fitting, I told her I was there for my final fitting (mind you this is the only wedding gown I have ever purchased so I did not know) and I had an appointment and the seamstress was not there yet. Ok.... no big deal right? Only I had so many appointments to go to since it was 2 weeks before my wedding and I am from out of town!! After 15 mins I approached her and asked how much longer, she looked aggravated and went to speak with the manager. She then came back and said in a rude sarcastic mocking voice "You said this is your final fitting? This is your first." Then she laughed apparently at my ignorance. I then rudely told her that I did not know! The manager over heard and politely told me it was ok that I did not have to know. Finally the seamstress got there, nice lady, talked a bit much. Then she told me about another bride that had come in from the same town I lived in and how difficult that bride was and how she gave Sonja a hard time!!! I could NOT believe what I was hearing especially since I just so happened to know the bride!! Small world huh.... Long story short, with the exception of Sonja and the manager and assistant manager, this was not a very pleasant environment, I did not feel like a princess, and some of the girls are rude and stuck up!! read more

She initially started off with questions to find out about what I was looking for but she honestly didn't care nor did she care when my bridesmaid was trying to guide her in the right direction. She even told me oh we got to work on your dress so the other bridesmaids don't show you up. How are you going to say that to a soon to be bride. Also when my bridesmaid started to look at dresses she got super snippy at them and told them hello I will pull them off. And when I started to go try on dress I told one of them to stay behind and look because she knows me best and i felt sonya wasnt listening. Well sonya had the nerve to tell her no go sit down and watch. Once we got to the dressing room she tried to be with me in the dressing room even after I told her I am uncomfortable with people I don't know assisting me while changing. So she gets the store manager involved to tell us we are here to help you with the fitting and to let them help diregarding how i feel . . At this point I was very annoyed and said thanks but no thanks I will go somewhere else. On the first dress I tried on she kept going on and on about how they can alter it even after I said I didn't care for it. I live out of town and wasn't able to try on the bridesmaids dress that was selected so I had to trust the San Antonio store to look at my measurements and decide what size dress I needed. I ended up needing a $150 alteration for a $200 bridesmaid dress because my tailor has to basically restructure the entire top half of the dress. The dress has an A-line skirt and I am super pear-shaped - should be perfect, right? I have plenty of A-line dresses and the size that ALWAYS fits me reflects my bust and shoulders measurements, not my hips (that's the point of an A-line/flare skirt!). Yet the associate on the phone insisted that because the dress has a "lining" that they had to order like 4 sizes bigger based on my hip measurement. I asked her to be doubly sure that I couldn't just let out (or remove) the skirt lining and order a dress that would fit me on top. Nope, she said, you definitely have to get the bigger size. I haven't seen the dress in person so what do I know about this? I grudgingly consented - maybe the lining conforms to your body or something. I was able to pick the dress up in person and could not believe how enormous it was. When it fell off my shoulders because it was so huge, the first thing the associate asked was if I was going to have it altered in-house. It all made sense then - altering the top is far more expensive than altering the bottom - I'm talking lace sleeves and shoulders, a lining and a bra-thingy - more money for them, right? Naturally you have to sign all sorts of forms when you order that state that YOU picked the size so if it doesn't fit it's your fault and you can't reorder or get your money back. I feel totally duped and should have gone with my gut rather than get screwed over. read more

This Place did not make you feel Welcomed or make the Bride feel excited or Special. I felt judge when I walked in. Rich? or Poor? The counter clerk was rude. When a Bride to be or Client walked in, The counter clerk quickly commented, "She has a balance". Since you go in by appointments only. The alterations are expensive and not exact. you need at least 2-3 visits. and even than, my dress Hem was never done, I had my shoes on. she marked it, and still the hem was not done. Oh my gosh! Where do I begin!!? So i walk in with my mother after a horrible experience at Bridal Galleria down the street,P.S I was almost in tears after being horribly mistreated. Went to David's Bridal next that Saturday and was slowly becoming invisible by the associate while I shared my stage with 2 other brides to be. Sooo! I walk into Impression Bridal just browse to see if they had anything just by glancing around worth booking an appointment. I'm in love with everything my eyes lay upon! Sparkle! Glam! Lace! Oh My!!! I ask to book an appointment. They asked if i had time today they could have an associate ready for me to try on dresses TODAY! I wasn't expecting to shop that day. My family and bridesmaids weren't with my on this Monday like they were Saturday. But hey, Mom was, so that was perfect enough for me! Sonja Hackett (associate) escorted my mother and I to our own private stage with 360 degree mirrors, perfect to capture every angle of a gown! The changing room was also gigantic! We talk about my wants and she gives me a detailed tour of all the sections of dresses in the store. Says were here to have fun and sends us out to pick 5 dresses to get started with! She takes them back to our changing room. We get started! I'm in love with the first gown I laid eyes on as soon as I walked in. I didn't think id like the bottom of the gown the way It fell off the hanger, but on me!! I couldn't take my eyes off of me! I cried! My mom cried! Sonja was almost in tears! You could tell she loves what she does! That was my dress! I finally found my dress! This place truly deserves a 5 Star rating! The staff did everything they could to make my experience a great one, since I had already explained my horrible weekend with the other bridal stores! Make this place your first choice! You won't regret it!! I certainly don't! I forgot the assistant managers name who visited with us in our room, but she came in with kind and wise words as well! Thank you a million ladies! I had an absolute fantastic experience at Impression Bridal! I was not searching for a wedding dress, but prom dress and I couldn't be any happier with the customer service and overall great vibes with this bridal shop! All the staff is very friendly and well mannered! It was a very successful visit for the second year in a row on finding a prom dress... Not only did I find a dress, but the alterations on the dress that Impression Bridal provided for me were stunning. I enjoyed how organized, well managed, and friendly this shop is ran. I have sent many friends and family in there way and would love to return in search for another dress in the future. read more

I really enjoyed my experience at this salon. They squeesed me in (we didn't have an appointment) after having the WORST experience at another salon. Christie was my sales associate and she chose dresses right along what I was wanting and helped me in and our of them. She was really nice and listened to my "entourage's" feedback and helped find accessories, etc that would add those extra touches to he dresses. If I hadn't fallen in love with a dress from another salon, I would have purchased a dress from Impression. It was a really great salon with up-to-date styles and variety of price points. read more

The only reason this place is getting any stars at all is because of the manager, who really went above and beyond (even talking to me outside in the rain) to try to fix things, however at that point I hardly wanted to set foot in this place. It started with me arriving to my appointment with my bridesmaids in tow. We were told our consultant was not ready yet, so we went to browse, but once my other bridesmaid arrived, she was not allowed to go in and look for us, and was reprimanded for looking at dresses and told instead to sit at the front and wait for her bride. I first met my consultant, and she was very forward. She seemed annoyed that my friends and I were looking at dresses, and quickly told us that we needed to find "a spot for you." Unfortunately she could not find one after leading us throughout the whole store, so we just kind of waited in the middle, until she found another bridal party that was finishing up and scurried them to the front. She proceeded to talk to me about wedding in the most condescending way possible. "You don't need to wear that". "It's pronounced 'UMMMpire'." "What do you mean 'drop-waist', you don't know the terms." It started to really sour my experience, but I kept my hopes up because the dresses are so pretty. I told her what I wanted, but again she insisted she knew better. I showed her a picture of a dress similar to what I was looking for that I had found at another shop. She told me to basically just go buy that one if I liked it so much. She asked me if I had heard of "alterations."(really?) Anyway, she puts me in a fitting room and tells me to get naked and put on the robe, except there is no robe. When I let her know, she went into another room and got the wrong size robe (XS), so I just stayed in my coat. I folded my clothes and put them along with my phone and wallet/purse on the little table. When she came in, she said "oh no, you need to move that.." and suggested I put all my stuff on the floor so she could put her pins there. (really?) When she brought in the dresses, it was all things she thought I needed to wear, nothing like what I had described. She literally handed me the dress and said, "here this one." She kept reminding me that she had so many years experience and had been married multiple times so "I know what I bride needs even when they don't know." This went on for a few dresses until I was getting tired of being left half in a dress in a dressing room with no robe. I had to keep calling my friend in to help me because I didn't want to rip a dress but I needed to get out of it. After about 45 mins of her constantly telling me why I was wrong and how she knew what I needed better and being left to get in and out of dresses by myself, I had enough. I could feel her distaste for a plus size bride, constantly telling me how hard it would be to find something (more out of concern for her having to look, not for concern for me). read more

My family and I have been here three times, and every time we have the same consultant who treats us like crap. The first time we went with my cousin, she was nice and the appointment started very well. However when my cousin was not satisfied and obviously because overwhelmed, the consultant gave up and sent us on our way. The second time we came with our other cousin, we had the same consultant and right off the bat our appointment was not off to a good start. After telling the consultant what my cousin wanted, she gave up, sat down in the chair, and told us to do it on our own and pick what we wanted. Now we went back today with my sister, who was simply just looking trying to figure out what she wanted and what looked good on her. The consultant just could not wrap her head around the fact that my sister had never looked at dresses. We told her two specific things that we didn't want (ballgown/poofy and dresses with sleeves) and all the dresses the consultant pulled were exactly that. The appointment continued and my sister just because more and more overwhelmed and frustrated, so we decided to leave. Now, WHEN WE LEFT the consultant pulled her co workers to the side and said that, I quote, "(We) probably could not afford anything and that (we) only came in for the flash sale and we still couldn't buy anything". After hearing that, I was furious. If the one thing your job is supposed to be, is to help the bride and her family find a dress, she's doing a horrible job. I didn't want to mention her mane but now I'm very upset. Her name is Mary. If you ever had her, please ask to switch appointments or consultants because she simply does not care. We have been there 3 times! THREE TIMES! And every time was just horrible. read more

We had an appointment here, and we're briefly greeted without instructions, so we started looking around until someone could help us. We pulled a few dresses to try on, as we did at several other appointments. When the consultant finally helped is, she was upset we had done so, and got pretty snappy with us about it. We wouldn't have done that if we would have known it was not allowed. They had a large selection of bridal dresses and bridesmaid dresses. There was 1 contender there, but we ultimately decided to go with another dress. read more
