I was the first appointment of the day at 10:30 am. My mom drove in from New Braunfels to come with me. I had to create a Pinterest board and answer questions when I made the appointment so they'd know what my vision was. The website said there would be a good selection at a good price, I was very hopeful. I walked in and it seemed like it was a bother I was there. There was not any excitement or bridal feeling. They directed me to the racks and told me to pick out what I liked and they'd pull them. Well then I get into the dressing room to start trying on 2 dresses were 14s when they knew I was a 16. Who puts a woman in a dress that's smaller than their size?! I am trying to imagine getting married and it won't even zip up!! At least pull it in a size up and clip it in the back. Absolutely awful way to make a bride feel. The selection was very very small and overall the experience was terrible. I could've been shopping at Ross for the amount of enthusiasm and care I got from any of the team there. Also, what's the point in making an appointment and creating a vision board, making a profile and filling out all this information to walk into the store and have to find your own dresses? I get it, it's David's bridal, I wasn't expecting a parade but damn way to make a girl feel special.

Last week, I called to ask how much my alterations would cost. I was told the total would be $180 plus tax, which came out to around $194. When I went to pick up my items today, the owner insisted that he had written down $194 before tax, even though that was not what I was told over the phone. Then, when I was ready to pay the $210 he added a credit card processing fee, bringing my total to approximately $218. To avoid the additional surcharge, I left to get cash and returned to pay. I also asked for an itemized receipt so I could understand how the charges were calculated. He told me he didn't have one and that he simply calculated the price by looking at the number of pieces. I found that very unprofessional and lacking in transparency. On top of that, one of my dresses was returned with a crooked raw hem. When I pointed it out and asked if it could be corrected, the owner became visibly irritated. I also questioned why the hem had been left raw, and he insisted that was how I had brought the dress which I know that was not the case. Overall, I felt dismissed as a customer and uncomfortable throughout the interaction. Between the inconsistent pricing, lack of an itemized receipt, unexpected fees, and the owner's rude attitude when concerns were raised, I cannot recommend this shop. There are many tailors who are transparent, professional, and treat their customers with respect.

I was an out of town bride and needed the alterations done on an expedited timeline over the course of week or so. They said no problem. When I showed up for the fitting they said the alterations would be a couple hundred dollars more than the quote (they said redoing the straps was more involved but it was exactly what I laid out when I sent through the photos). It was clear the person actually doing the fittings/alterations was not the person I had been emailing with and had no idea about the agreed to timeline and seemed alarmed. My friends who (thankfully) fixed my bustle and sew a lot of clothes said this was a hack job across the board and absolutely not worth what I paid. Look elsewhere.

My rep who took care of me that day was a great listener and helped make me feel comfortable. She was a great hype girl. I brought my mom, SIL and my little nephews. They were so sweet and brought them drinks and some snacks for the kids. After a quick consultation, my rep went to pull some dresses ever mindful of my budget and the style I wanted. She provided a variety of different silhouettes and cuts. She was patient with me and we finally found the right one. It will take some time to order your dress so definitely plan ahead. They don't do alterations here but have a vendor they can refer you to who is equally amazing. For me, I am so grateful I didn't dismiss them. I am very happy with my wedding dress and experience.
