Awesome for 3 meals a day! I have not had any bad at Panera. It's always fresh, flavorful, and tasty. I tried the turkey and cheddar sandwich, and it had a generous amount of meat, super flavorful cheese, veggies, and soft bread. So delicious! The chicken and rice soup was new to me. The Tukwila Panera has plenty of parking thanks to a large lot shared with businesses nearby. Inside, the layout feels more long and narrow rather than open, but there's still enough seating to find a spot. I personally don't know the loud music, which made it hard to enjoy a quieter visit. I also noticed a few tables weren't cleaned off properly, and some were wobbly, which can be annoying when you're trying to eat and get work done. Restrooms are available and easy to find. Airport delay for In-laws, so got some lunch at Panera Bread pretty close by. Ordered multiple items. Can order thru the walk-in register or live in person which I appreciate. After relocating to the PNW, I revisited Panera, a place I hadn't been since my time on the east coast. Last week, I stopped by while in the area. The restaurant was spacious and well-kept. Opted for a grilled cheese and tomato soup, and though the staff was friendly, the grilled cheese was just average. The tomato soup, however, was fantastic. My written reviews for a chain restaurant are few and far between but the staff at this location was so great during lunch that I had to come celebrate them. They kept things moving, were full of smiles and a friendly demeanor, would address you by name (since it's on the order), and I could see they had rapport with regular customers who were there that day. As soon as my order was taken and there was no one behind me, the person was right off to sweep and the space felt very clean. I am normally a fan of Panera so it pains me to write this review. I just hope they had an off day because my experience today was pretty bad. I understand that they're busy, but that shouldn't compromise quality of their food or accuracy of fulfilling orders. I tried the curbside pickup today and pre-ordered ahead for a 1pm pick-up. Issue 1: the order was late and I had to wait 20 minutes after my scheduled pickup time. Issue 2: The sandwiches weren't labeled so it was impossible to know if my order was correct without opening each sandwich in the car. Really inconvenient for the customer for a this oversight. Issue 3: I checked my order before leaving and it was missing two items. Glad I checked before leaving. One of the items was a pretty obvious miss as it was a whole baguette. Issue 4: The quality of the food was bad. The greek salads had lots of spoiled and bad pieces of lettuce. It made me really think long and hard about eating the salad because I didn't want to get sick. I hope their management takes all of my feedback constructively. Panera is all about baked goods and that can be a challenge for a keto diet but they also have salads. I was able to use the app to order a Greek salad with sliced chicken and it came out quite well. I arrived a little ahead of the scheduled time and got to watch the manager/expediter/finisher pushing the kitchen to complete orders and get them ready for pickup. Definitely a hard worker there! Back at the hotel, my salad was customized as requested with plenty of chicken and two pots of their Greek dressing. Very good and while not perfect keto, definitely close to it. Not sure what the issue is with this location, but we will never order a group lunch from here again. We placed an order online for 17 lunches and estimated pick up time they gave us was 1145. We showed up and our food was not ready. We didn't get our order until 2pm. Ridiculous to wait this long. Instead of some sort of reimbursement or compensation, they gave us two free cookies. My Husband & I were at this location around 3 months ago and were disappointed that they were out of so many things well over an hour before closing with no other customers in the reataurant so the sandwich choice was slim. We were in again this evening and had a terrible experience so will not be eating at this location again! The restaurant wasn't overly busy at all but we had to wait quite a long time for our half sandwiches & cup of mac. In fact several customers that came in after us for both dining and takeout were served ahead of us. We noticed a few other customers complaining. When I finally decided to walk up to the counter to ask if they had called out our name, the lady appearing to be the manager said our order had just come up. We had both ordered lemonade from the four or five custom drink selections they had offered in addition to fountain drinks at the kiosk we ordered through. When I walked up to get my lemonade, one of the young female employees was emptying the lemonade and tea containers into larger containers of what appeared to be something they would store it in overnight. I had asked her where the other drinks were and she didn't answer. lI told her we had ordered lemonade and she continued emptying the lemonade and tea dispensers into the storage containers and said "I'm putting it away for the night". This was around 7:00pm ( 2 hours prior to close she was putting it and the tea away and they had none of the other custom drinks that were available on the kiosk). The lady that had appeared to be the manager said the fountain drink machine was down too and the girl was making more lemonade... so I told her what the girl had said and asked her what we were supposed to drink because the girl had said she was putting it and the tea away for the night. The girl ( employee ) rudely looked at another employee as I walked by and said, referring to me, "what did she say about me?". I replied " you said you were putting it away for the night and we paid $3 each for lemonade but have nothing to choose from because you're putting away the tea and lemonade and the fountain drink machine is down" and you have several customers in here trying to get their drinks but we have nothing to choose from . She then rudely said she "did not say that", turned around and made a very snarky face at me! My Husband went up to get some ice from the manager and as he walked by the young girl made an even worse face at him and looked at me and made another face!! She proceeded to take her time to even bother to refill the lemonade or tea dispensers for us even knowing that there were lots of customers in at that time that were also trying to get drinks and had nothing available whatsoever to choose from! She was off doing other things and never came back for quite a while. We felt it was on purpose. As we left the restaurant she was on her break and was sitting eating by the door, and even made a face at us then! read more

We usually order for pick up. EVERY single time I click that I don't want utensils - guess what we get? Yep, NOBODY reads that section of your order. Why even ask on your website? More than half the time we don't get the bakery item we ordered and they'll swap it out with something else (or they don't care and just grab any cookie - oatmeal raisin instead of chocolate chipper). We're not asked if we want the substitution. Since we're getting take out, it's not worth driving back to get what we really want. The chocolate croissant I got yesterday instead of the chocolate coconut macaroon was wretched and got tossed in the food waste bin. We won't order bakery any longer. I DoorDashed an order from here... I would have to say it was good!! The portions are smaller which was nice. I ordered the chicken soup and the tomato basil salad with a green smoothie. The tomato basil salad was nice and refreshing however I would work on making it less saturated in juice or whatever dressing is used because it gathered at the bottom and made the vegetables soggy. Went here to pickup a large lunch order for a meeting. It was right before noon so it was crazy busy. I was a little early so I had time to watch the manager and staff work their butts off. The manager was working with a customer on an order and mentioned they were short staffed but things still moved seamlessly with everyone's order. I had a chance to watch the ladies behind the counter making all of our food. They were super fast and really communicated well with each other. They were keeping up a good energy and laughing but man, so fast! They were even complimenting a newer employee about how she was catching on with the process. We often order food out and don't really see and understand all the work the staff at these restaurants do - their accuracy and speed must be on point to keep all of us happy with our orders, and these guys did it with a smile! Holding a funeral/celebration of life for my mother at Bonney Watson funeral home in SeaTac. At suggestion of wife, who's company uses Panera for catered events. Thought this would be easy. WRONG Placed $450+ order online on Weds for Saturday 12:45-1:00 pm window, wanted food to be warm as repast was at 1pm. Didn't receive order confirmation. Called Thursday, phone tree puts you into a loop, but someone finally answered. Girl advised got order, would resend order. Asked if any issues w/delivery time, "no not at all" Day of service 1:05 pm, no delivery, called South Center location, was told driver already left some time ago. Said I would call back in 15 mins if no delivery. 20 mins later, still no delivery. Family/friends waiting. 1:25pm finally get a call from driver, "I'm just getting on International Blvd, traffic is heavy." Over 45 minutes to go 3 miles? Even with heavy traffic, is not believable. Even when it finally got there driver had terrible attitude, asked if I wanted help setting up, then seemed put out that I said yes, as that's what was asked on the order. Repast was cut short because food arrived late. Didn't get a chance to eat sandwich myself until on my way home. Had about a dozen sandwiches was going to give to homeless camp near home, but after how sick I got after eating, couldn't bare to do so in good conscious so threw sandwiches out. Received online survey to fill out, provided negative feedback. GM Magen calls on cell phone apologizing, saying she wasn't' in store, but would provide refund, emailed receipt and phone call Sunday. No contact. Thursday, I call store, GM Magen says she didn't call because out sick Sun, Mon, Tues, but was going to call Today (Thursday) I asked why not Wednesday. She said she lost my phone number (after being stored on cell phone?) I asked why she didn't' get it off the order. GM tells me the order is deleted after 48 hours. I asked then how she was going to call me today (Thurs) if she didn't have any contact info? Crickets. She said she would refund the entirety of the order and send me email of refund. Asked for my email address and CC, which I provided. I realized after the call she didn't ask for the order info or the dollar amount. She provided refund that was about $2 off, but if she didn't' have the order info, how? She lied to me. She had the info, she had my phone number on the order, and her cell phone. Sent complaint to regional catering manager, who merely deferred me to the Panera customer care team rather than forwarding the complaint themselves. Keep being told that someone would reach out, nobody has reached out except for me to Panera. A bad day with the loss of my mother, made worse by Panera. Would not advise using them for catering or anything else for that matter. read more

Ordered online to pick up on the shelf. The soup was still hot when I got it, but compared to previous chicken noodle soup I got from any Panera, this was tasteless. It's like they forgot seasonings, and taste like it was burnt. Like how do you burn soup? Then the half steak and cheese sandwich was just as bad. Sloppy, smashed, with no flavor. My daughter stated that probably because it's a bunch of teenagers working there. To me that's no excuse because when I was a teen, 14 to be exact I worked at a pizza joint, and I worked hard. I was known for my customer service, and I made pizzas the way I would like my pizza made by following the directions my managers/trainers told me. So I blame it on management. Has the quality gone down hill. To me that would be sad during this pandemic. I would think the company would make sure that they would serve quality ingredients. So people would come back and support. So many small mom and pops have to close down. I would prefer supporting the ones that are closing down than spend good money for mediocre food. Son unfortunately I don't think I'll be back. At least to this location. I'll try others to see if the quality would be better.
