My wife Michele and I eat at WSK at least once a week. One our favorite things to get is 1 order of…read moreCajun Shrimp which has 3 large shrimp in a delicious but fairly spicy oil, butter and garlic sauce. We also get one order of Shrimp Scampi with pasta AND an extra plate. We mix both plates together at the table and have two meals that is delicious and more than enough for two. And if it's not, there is always a choice of deserts made off site by Daphne!

**November 2025: Friday Early Afternoon Visit**…read more My friend and I were wandering Wiscasset and were in need of a restroom. We couldn't find one and decided to dine in to use their facilities. I think we were among the first diners and realized that the restaurant was really nice and had such a wonderful view of the water. Our server was incredibly kind and hospitality. She informed us that the soup of the day was clam chowda to which both of us wanted right away. The chowda was flavorful and had a good amount of clams (many other restaurants choose to load it with potatoes, but not this one!). The soup does lean more brothy versus gravy-like which is a personal preference but taste wise it was still soothing. The menu had a lot of really great seafood options so I decided to try their Maine mussels. Our waitress said that the broth was really wonderful and would pair nicely with garlic bread which I also ordered. The entrees came out pretty quickly and the serving size of my mussels was double what I thought it would be. The mussels looked massive and the meat was as fresh mussels should taste. It was an excellent dish. The garlic bread would be a great vessel to soak up the mussel broth, but I felt that the bread was a little thin and slightly over-toasted to really soak up the broth. Nevertheless, I really enjoyed the overall experience and it does feel like a local spot.

I absolutely love the street that Table Bar occupies, such a walkable area with so many cute stops…read more Great for my mother's day weekend to do some shopping and have some great wine. The atmosphere of this wine shop is completely retro and fun. Great old records for sale, vintage clothes rack out back for some thrift shopping, fun and fresh bottles of wine to take home. We sat right at the bar next to the records were playing and the owner switched records frequently and always had something fun playing. The wine here was so much fun - as someone who works in wine sales it's always refreshing to see a bar changing what wines they serve and have something new open every day. They don't have a set wine list, i believe they just choose what they want when they want and display what they are serving by the glass on a shelf behind the bar. I love that idea so you can go often and always be able to try something new. I would have had some snacks along with my wine if we had not just come from lunch but i will definitely be back since this menu always changes with what is fresh. A great spot in this area and i'm excited to go back already.

Probably the best polenta I've ever had besides my Tia Rosanna's! Umm you MUST try. I have no photos to prove my consumption of this decedent meal, you'll just HAVE to take my word for it. K thanks bye

Thankfully we made it for their last open weekend for 2021! Service was extremely friendly - and we learned a ton about the winery and their practices. My husband listened to a podcast about the winery (which is why we'd wanted to visit), and the owner used to plow only using a horse. They have since switched to more modern ways - but I love that their wines are all-natural and with as minimal intervention as possible. The wines themselves are fantastic!! We had a 1/2 pour of each of the six offerings (sparkling white morphos, sparkling rose morphos, Chardonnay, cab franc, merlot and a cider) and I truly was surprised to find they are all GREAT!!! The sparkling white and Chardonnay were my favorites, but the reds were nice and dry and full of flavor. The cider was also dry and tart - it is lovely! The rose morphos was a bit too sweet for me, but tasty nonetheless! We will absolutely be back next time we are in the area!

This place is awesome and most definitely worth a stop when traveling between Portland and Acadia…read moreNational Park, as we were. It's a big ol' barn full of haphazard seating at and away from the bar. There's a good selection of wines, and the casual atmosphere only got better during our stay as more people filed in and filled the place up more. But even without a crowd, it was a peaceful spot to sit and decompress for a bit after a busy several days hiking at the national park and driving around Maine. The wine was very tasty, with my wife saying one of the sparkling wines she had was particularly good. I went with a blueberry wine because Maine, right? Also quite good, as well as thematically appropriate. Shoutout to the cute pup who greeted us when we pulled into the parking lot and walked us to the front door. He was chilling on welcome-dog duty when we left a while later haha. Great mascot. Great place.
