This is a gorgeous waterfront restaurant. All the dishes we tried from were great, but my favorite has to be the mussels arrabiata. The sauce provided the perfect amount of heat- bold and flavorful, but not overwhelmingly spicy. The service was excellent as well!

My sister had made reservations in advanced but there were a few tables that I saw when briefly walking in so they may not be entirely necessary. Especially as it was a Friday night. For appetizers we shared creole shrimp which had a great Cajun seasoning. The garlic bread was ideal to soak up the flavorful sauce as well as for the sautéed mussels. We shared their buttery and heavenly garlicky Roasted Maine lobster. My sister enjoyed her crispy salmon which she ordered well done, too overdone for what I prefer. I loved the gravy and mashed served with the chicken Madeira! My half portion of bolognese also had hefty portions of lamb shank which was to die for. The broccolini was seasoned and cooking to my slightly crisp likings. I enjoyed my Evening prayer drink too which was beautifully crafted. Overall, I had a great experience. The view, the food, and the service was fantastic. Although a little pricey, I think it is well worth every dollar. Would love to come again and highly recommend others to enjoy their time here!

Came in for a Valentine's Day drink! Macy was sweet! Menu looks great and the drinks were awesome!

Wow. Amazing food and nice view. Hot, fresh crispy salmon skin on a bed of lobster smoked bacon and pea hash. This dish was everything I wanted it to be and more. I try to order dishes I can't get "just anywhere" and this one caught my eye. My wife had the shrimp scampi. Both dishes were yummy. Nice ambience with a dark nautical decor and decent lighting. It's a hip, trendy place and on the intimate/cozy side. I definitely recommend making reservations as we slipped in at 5m on a Wednesday and it was filling up with only 2 seats at the bar. Great service and fast service! We will be back!

I worked at this restaurant when it was Le Garage back in the 80s. The view has always been spectacular. Can't beat the ambiance. Relaxed feel. Personable staff. It was a rainy afternoon, just prior to any dinner rush and the restaurant was already full. We were seated at the bar, where you can order from the full menu, quickly. Bartender was very nice. The food was tasty but I feel like $36 for 5 small scallops and a bowl of risotto was a tad on the high end.

    View from the dining room.

Absolutely delicious - everything. From the cauliflower and haddock cake appetizers to the Crispy salmon entree. Service was great, views over the water were wonderful. A superior dining experience.

What a nice dinner out on the enclosed porch overlooking the water. Great ambiance in the place. Higher end price wise but the food didn't disappoint. Wife had Scallops & risotto I did the... you guessed it raw oysters and a shrimp cocktail. Also had a nice salad with chicken. Waitress was a local and incredibly nice. If you're looking for a nice dinner.... This would be a place to consider.

My family always goes here for a fun night out. Building itself is rustic and adorable. Cocktails are curated and delicious, the food is even better. The staff is always friendly and we love getting the same ones when we return. Everyone take a moment for their brussel sprout appetizer YUM.

Wonderful spot in wiscasset to have lunch although pricey. Delightful ambiance with a nice water view and excellent service. Brussel sprouts was good but the portion was super small. I enjoyed my half size shrimp scampi and BF his turkey burger. Really good truffle fries.

    Paella

We had the paella, which bills as 45 minutes, but with the view and the drinks went by fast. It was delicious and certain don't miss this dish!

It has all the credentials for perfection...outdoor seating overlooking a body of water...in this case the beautiful Kennebec River, including a spectacular view of the big bridge over it. Watching boats go by, and people walking in the walking path to get to the park right next door...perfect for people and dog watching. Plus, OysHers allows well behaved dogs at the outdoor seating area. The menu includes MANY varieties of sparking wines, including a mimosa flight, and all local oysters, all sourced from women-owned oyster farmers, plus they have their own oyster farm as well. The menu does include a few non-seafood items, such as the classic Maine red hot dog. The menu also includes some caviar in case there is a need for a special occasion caviar celebration. There are a variety of seating options outside and inside. There are firepit tables with Adirondack chairs, regular tables and chairs, picnic tables, and high top tables. There is a beautiful display of the days oyster selection inside on ice. The ordering process is simple...order what you want at the register, tell them where you're seated (we were are fire pit #2) and they bring your order to you. You can start a tab or pay as you go. Each table has a little sign that says what the table name/number is. We went on a Wednesday afternoon so we did not try the fire pit. It is a great reason to go back. We tried the mimosa flight (orange, grapefruit, cranberry, and lemon) and a flight of oysters (4 different varieties). I couldn't tell you which one was best...they were all perfect. I especially loved how expertly they were shucked and cut loose. Every oyster slid out of its shell without any resistance and each oyster had all of its liquor. They were perfectly clean and chilled and served with lemon, a cocktail sauce and a delicious mignonette. My friend also tried a local canned cocktail, Dasch seltzer, that was excellent...not too sweet, lots of blueberry flavor. I can't wait to go back!

The Crabster sliders were excellent and the chicken salad (ordered on a roll instead of sliders) was plentiful and very tasty. Great cocktail, mocktail, and wine selection. We got to sit on the back patio and enjoy the river view. Well behaved dogs are welcome on the patio. Orders go in at the bar and servers deliver to the table. Polite, smiling, friendly service. Not a ton of parking immediately in front but it's super easy to walk from the many municipal parking areas downtown. Highly recommend for anyone in the area looking for a comfortable and delicious spot for a bite and a beverage.

The atmosphere of this wine shop is completely retro and fun. Great old records for sale, vintage clothes rack out back for some thrift shopping, fun and fresh bottles of wine to take home. We sat right at the bar next to the records were playing and the owner switched records frequently and always had something fun playing. The wine here was so much fun - as someone who works in wine sales it's always refreshing to see a bar changing what wines they serve and have something new open every day. They don't have a set wine list, i believe they just choose what they want when they want and display what they are serving by the glass on a shelf behind the bar. I love that idea so you can go often and always be able to try something new. I would have had some snacks along with my wine if we had not just come from lunch but i will definitely be back since this menu always changes with what is fresh. A great spot in this area and i'm excited to go back already.

Thankfully we made it for their last open weekend for 2021! Service was extremely friendly - and we learned a ton about the winery and their practices. My husband listened to a podcast about the winery (which is why we'd wanted to visit), and the owner used to plow only using a horse. They have since switched to more modern ways - but I love that their wines are all-natural and with as minimal intervention as possible. The wines themselves are fantastic!! We had a 1/2 pour of each of the six offerings (sparkling white morphos, sparkling rose morphos, Chardonnay, cab franc, merlot and a cider) and I truly was surprised to find they are all GREAT!!! The sparkling white and Chardonnay were my favorites, but the reds were nice and dry and full of flavor. The cider was also dry and tart - it is lovely! The rose morphos was a bit too sweet for me, but tasty nonetheless! We will absolutely be back next time we are in the area!
