We paid for services that were not done, and to confirm my suspicions I took it other places for a second and third opinion, which confirmed that the work that was paid for was not done at all. The other work I had done on other jobs was also done with (I think used) third-party parts, and he admitted that he makes his own "parts" DIY (an example of his own admission: a transmission line). He refused to give us our work order, or the information of the windshield replacement "professional" (since they would be held liable, not Wrenchmasters) because I highly suspect that instead of hiring a certified windshield replacement professional (I had bad seals and was worried about the safety of my windshield in a car accident) they did it themselves, AGAINST federal law. They just put my old windshield (with rust on the edges) with my original seals (some sections were missing before, and were still missing), although we paid to replace the seals. They were very unprofessional. They would not give us any money back, and would not even cover the cost of the seals that they couldn't find (but we easily could), but they said they could "look at it" although he still insisted we could not be around for the windshield seal replacement. I do not believe he is honest, and I would NOT recommend his services. I believe he takes advantage of his customers.

Not honest. When we moved to the area the stem for our tire valve broke. I had a injury so I called…read moreahead of time and had a female family member bring in the tire. I knew the valve could simply be replaced by removing it from the tire pressure monitoring sensor (TPMS) threaded inlet. Well they failed the honesty test for a simple cheap repair. She was quoted $200 to order a new TPMS and valve assembly. That's what happens when you own a car with a fancy emblem I suppose. Too bad for them I know a thing or two about cars and didn't fall for their inflated quote for an unnecessary repair. All they had to do was unscrew the valve assembly and replace it but all they cared about was screwing us over. She brought the tire to discount tire who fixed the valve for free while she waited. I wouldn't trust this shop especially if you're an "outsider" and new to the area. This was a easy repair imagine if I brought it in for a check engine light they could have really inflated the repair estimate.

Wow, they are horrible to the customers once they take your money. They looked at the vehicle, told us he will replace the engine with a junk yard engine for $2000. On a junk yard engine that may also break?! Now I question how many rigged cars they sell besides ours. He may have a nice smile & a good talker. But, to sell a lemon knowing it was pretty much dead. Unacceptable ‼ Guess BBB will have to get involved. I have made reviews along with many friends. He deletes any bad comments & keeps the good. What a way to cheat the ratings numbers. Anyhow, he called today telling us because I made a bad reviews he refuses to even consider working on it & to pretty much get it the fuck out off my lot. Terrible place. This is a review of their automotive repair department. We went to Frey with our Buick Enclave…read morebecause of transmisson issues. With the prices of used cars these days, we were willing to consider repairing the vehicle vs. purchasing a new car. Three weeks ago we were quoted $5500 but could go up to as much as $7000. This was a verbal discussion, of course nothing was in writing. Three weeks later, with very little communication on their part, they let us know the Buick is ready to go. During this time, if we enquired on the status of our vehicle it was all on our part. The most we were told was "not ready yet, check engine light is on now, we're trying to figure that out". So today my husband goes to pick the Buick up and the total is $9,500!!!! Almost double the original quote. We never would have spent that much on a 2010 Buick! We were not even given the option of agreeing or disagreeing to this price. Most reputable businesses will call and say "Hey, we found this wrong with it now, it will now be this much....." . Or even better, have us initial off on a quote. Not ONCE was this offered to us, only verbal quotes. The best part of this poor business practice is when I called to express my outrage, "Scott", only argued with me about how he never said "$5500-7000", I said "$8,000". Now they are insulting our intelligence as we NEVER would have agreed to that much on repairing a used car. But of course, there is no PAPER trail to this quote because they put nothing in writing!!! We only have our word against his and he is LYING. So, this is my first review of any business but didnt want anyone else to go through what we did, especially with how hard times are these days. Inflation is not keeping up with wages and this is very hard on our family.
