This is the third time I have been to see Dr Manny, each time for something different. The first time, was over 15 years ago when I was struggling with plantar fasciitis. It was no quick fix, but he got me back running again. A bonus is that I am able to wear something other than my running shoes on a daily basis - although I do still look for supportive shoes. 2 years ago an issue flared up related to my lower back and he quickly noticed how out of alignment my hips were and after a few visits, I was feeling so much better. If you read any review on the planet about Dr. Manny let it be this one: I have been suffering through the most severe, debilitating chronic sleep issues for over 2 years. Being forced to take obscene amounts of OTC and/or prescription pills every night to even try and have a chance of falling asleep, yet still waking up every single morning feeling like I got hit by a bus. Seen every doctor under the sun - western, eastern, holistic you name it. I highly recommend Dr. Valle. After searching for over a decade (12 years to be exact) to resolve mid back and right shoulder pain. My husband started seeing Dr Manuel Valle for chronic neck pain that was getting so bad that he was having to take ibuprofen nearly every day to get on with his daily life. When you come in for a specific problem, the chiropractor explains his philosophy is to take a holistic approach by adjusting all parts of your body, which he says may be contributing to the problem, so he'll crack your feet, toes, knees, wrists, elbows, back, ribs, and neck, even if only one of those is giving you a problem. He recommends three sessions a week to start out and then lowers that frequency if things are getting better. On one of my visits, he slipped trying to crack one of my toes and unfortunately caused the toe joint to have instability, so now it's been giving me some pain when I step on it a certain way. I'm hoping it will get better, but I won't be coming back. You have to sign a waiver accepting these kinds of risks going into this treatment, so be warned, things like this can happen. read more

In 2008 after having to drop out of the San Jose marathon due to chronic hip pain, my orthopedic dr at John Muir Medical Center diagnosed me with early osteoarthritis and claimed I would eventually need a hip replacement. However, he claimed I was too young for the surgery and the only thing I could do at this point was to quit running altogether. Not wanting to believe it, I began my quest to find an alternative treatment, trying physical therapy, acupressure, acupuncture, chiropractic--you name it! I even did as my medical dr ordered and quit running. All to no avail. By the time I began seeing Dr Valle in April of 2011, I was in so much pain, at times I had to use a cane to walk. Follow up: I received a call this morning from In Motion Chiropractic. They apologized for the mixup on their end and offered me an appointment today free of charge. I decided to give them another shot and took the 12:30pm appt. Dr. Valle was very apologetic and friendly. He cares a lot about his patients and my last review was not overlooked by him. He wanted to make it right and he did. Dr. Valle took his time to diagnose my lower back pain issue. He had me go through a series if motions to see where the problem was stemming from. I am six and a half months pregnant and I have been experiencing lots of tightness on my right side and a sharp pain in my lower back. Dr. Valle noticed that the way I get up from sitting is incorrect and I am putting more strain on my back. He showed me the correct way to get up without putting strain on my back. (Having a big pregnant belly makes the simplest tasks difficult! Lol) Dr. Valle was able to perform a few adjustments on my back and massaged the areas that were tight. My back didn't feel as tight anymore. He also taped my back and said that it will help keep things in place and will give me some relief. I have to keep the tape on for 3-7 days. I had an injury to my hand that had left scarring and fairly constant pain. I happened to see Dr. Valle at a fair downtown, where he explained ART to me and gave me a demo to show how he could treat my hand. I was impressed immediately with this technique and came to see Dr. Valle for an ART treatment.. Instead of just focusing on my hand, he asked me many questions about prior injuries, type of work, etc. He advised he treats "head to toe" and gave me probably the most thorough chiropractic adjustment I've ever had. After suffering with chronic progressive knee pain for over six months, I went to see my orthopedic surgeon. His diagnosis: early onset arthritis. I've gotta concentrate on finding my happy place when he pulls out the tools. ART... have you ever had something hurt so bad yet feel so good. If you're in the waiting room and hear someone laughing and crying at the same time, that'll be me. Granted, Dr. Valle knows that I'm serious about treatment and to not hold back. He's never made me say "uncle"... a few other choice words perhaps, but never "uncle". The results of his treatments are felt almost immediately. I've actually limped into my appointment and skipped out. Bottom line: Dr. Valle is amazing. He kept his initial promise to me. Arthritis... what arthritis?? My knees don't bother me at all. He's also fixed various other injuries I've inflicted upon myself. Sprained ankle...done. Impinged shoulder...all good. Misaligned pelvis (don't even bother asking how I did that)...fixed. Dr. Valle has been adjusting my daughter and I for several years. He has made a huge difference in how we feel. We love the style of adjustments he does. Only chiropractor that has been able to relieve my foot and leg pain. My daughter was a gymnast and cheerleader and he relieved her back and wrist pain from years of tumbling. read more

Dr. Valle is still an outstanding Chiropractor IF you are lucky to get an appointment scheduled. The phone is never answered and if you leave a message you may or may not receive a message within a week or 2. I've referred 2 friends who have tried to make appointments and their messages were never answered. I don't give out many referrals but when I do and the office doesn't bother returning calls, it lessens my raving reviews. The last time I went to visit Dr. Valle I had to physically go into the office to make an appointment after several messages went unanswered. Once I made my appointment (1.5 months away) I find out my appointment was canceled (NOT by me). For someone who was looking for pain relief, I think I was pretty accommodating waiting a month and a half but when I found out my appointment had been canceled I nearly lost it. Note: Dr. Valle did squeeze me into his schedule that day. I tried again today to make an appointment and as usual I got the answering machine. Unfortunately, I do not have the time to walk in and make an appointment. Seeking back relief elsewhere. :( read more
