It's a good sized portion... three large breast pieces and crispy fries. I got the Level 1 spice, which was just right, and the House Sauce for dipping. The sauce is like Raising Canes-style. I got their chicken sandwich level 2 and their wings at level 3. The chicken sandwich didn't taste spicy at all to me so I kind of wished I got level 3 for my sandwich also. The wings were spicy and a bit painful to eat, but it wasn't too bad where it was inedible. He chose "burning love", which is a level down from signing a waiver, but he felt he could have gone to the spiciest level since this didn't get him. He swore he chose the same spice level, but this didn't give him the same head-sweating results! Did someone complain that it was too hot?! Ordered food from Love Burn wow bowling with some friends. Love Burn is located inside Hometown Bowl And can be ordered a couple different different ways, including to go, dine in as they have a couple chairs, or during bowling if the alleys are open. We were bowling and it was very easy to walk right over to the restaurant and order through a kiosk, which will then alert your phone when the order is ready. I've always enjoyed Love Burn and think that they fry their chicken incredibly well. I typically opt for a chicken sandwich, but this time I ordered tenders with onion rings. The chicken for tenders were fried perfectly with a golden crispy exterior and hot, juicy interior meat. Love Burn known for their spice with levels including spice to level four. I don't do spicy well, so I got no spice, But the chicken was still flavorful with regular seasoning. The onion rings were crispy nicely with the house ranch. There is only street parking in the neighborhood OR on El Camino if you get lucky/wanna risk getting out of your car on that stretch of road. You enter the bowling alley and Love Burn is to the right, next to the bar, and has a kiosk for ordering and a small window for picking up orders. Easy enough! We considered grabbing a beer while we waited for our order - it was suuuuper dead aside from a birthday party at a few of the bowling lanes. Likely due to the torrential downpour outside, but we'll try to come by again for bowling on a lazy Sunday in the future. Boyfriend is a fan of spicy and considered getting the One Night Stand on his Hot Chicken Sandwich, but opted for Burning Love (level 3) instead of fussing with a waiver (and potential heartburn on a Monday). He liked the flavor and the spice level was definitely up there (I am trying to push my tolerance, but it was too much for me), but he'll take the time to sign the waiver next time we visit (and I will not be trying a bite, hahaha). Even though we had a 20+ min commute to get home and dig in. The slots in the to-go box is very clever - allowed the steam to escape and ensured the chicken didn't get mushy. Worth nothing the pickles served with orders spice level 2+ were also mostly spicy, less pickly. If you want a break from the spice, consider getting a side of cole slaw. What's interesting is there is no side option for fries. So if you want fries, at least according to the menu, you must get tendies. I didn't think to ask the employees if there was a secret work around, but why not just list them separetely on the public menu if it is possible? This is just... confusing to me. I feel like if I were at the bowling alley, I'd be more apt to get wings and fries for sharing at the lane... Shopping at Lowe's and needed some lunch - decided chicken sandwich would be good for teenager - no parking around the area - it's in a bowling alley! Ok can park a block away near the goodwill parking lot or surround streets - well that took a while - ordered sandwiches and was told it would take 15 minutes - eeek - deep frying a breast usually takes 8 minutes exactly at home but ok. Came with a large group on a Sunday for lunch. You order at the counter up front, and then you can grab a table in a roped off area (only 21+ allowed in the seating area though, since there's a bar). I ordered the hot chicken sandwich, which comes on a potato bun and with coleslaw and pickles, with 0 spiciness. The sandwich is really large, which gives it a visual wow factor, but it's unfortunate that the taste doesn't live up to its appearance. The chicken is really crispy, as fried chicken should be, but it was also very oily and a little too fatty for my liking. The chicken itself was juicy and not dry though, which I appreciated. Also, not sure what was in that cole slaw but it kind of tasted like celery (although that might have just been the red cabbage?) which I am not a fan of, so I eventually just scooped out all the cole slaw. The pickles were also not crisp and fresh; they tasted like they were boiled, which isn't my ideal way to eat pickles. I'd probably skip the fries too; they were denser than I like my fries and didn't have very good flavor. The service was really great though! The cashier was super friendly. Even after all the time it was realllly good. We got the hot chicken sandwiches (level 1 for me and level 2 for my partner). This place is straight FIRE (literally)! I first had the opportunity to try Love Burn during a Yelp Elite event. We were so impressed with the food (and service), we've eaten here around a dozen times since then! The chicken is always so juicy, and the heat is real. They have 5 spice levels, ranging from "No Spice", to "Must sign a waiver". I usually go with the middle one, which is "First Date". It's definitely got a kick, but manageable. I've seen clips of people having the spiciest one, I can't even imagine! At this point we've tried most everything there! The chicken sandwich was the first thing I ever had. This is legit the biggest chicken sandwich I've ever seen! It's one of the juiciest chicken thighs you'll ever taste. I've seen video and read that they measure the temperature on the chicken with a thermometer before serving, so I always feel comfortable that it's fully cooked. The other chicken dishes (Hot Leg & Thigh, Wings, and Chicken Tenders) are all just as good. The portions and pieces of chicken are huge! These aren't your tiny little baby wings, these are super meaty! The tenders are new(er), and a great option for those who love white meat chicken strips. Don't sleep on the SIDES! The fries are deliciously seasoned and rival some of the best fries I've ever had! The creamy coleslaw, mac salad, and potato salad are all solid as well! The cold sides are a great contrast to the hot and spicy chicken! The SAUCES are also bomb! The ranch is super tasty, and the hot ranch definitely has a kick. Level 3 hot chicken in a burger taste the same as level 2 in a wing -- maybe because you've got all that other stuff in a burger to contrast the spice. I love that you can get a big ass satisfying burger like that for $15! It's a real piece of deboned fried thigh with crunchy spicy batter -- so good. Fries were a little off today, not as double fried crunchy as I remember. Regular $5, garlic $6. Kiddo got the 3 piece tenders to try today $15 -- they're 3 chunks of breast meat, pretty juicy for white meat. Service is always excellent. I love how prompt they are on getting your order out as the promised time. Parking in the neighborhood was pretty easy and I also like that you can park at the Smart&Final lot nearby -- get groceries while you're there!
