Cute little hole In the wall place in Daly City. I got a plate with pancit, BBQ chicken and BBQ pork as well as 10 piece lumpia. The food was very flavorful. The cashier was kind enough to allow me to taste the chicken adobo, which they were out of (around 2pm). The chicken was very moist and soft and was the BBQ option I preferred. The lumpia was good too. The line person serving the food seemed rushed and our food was cold. The place keeps busy. They also have a catering menu. This is a cash and take out only place.

MY FAV FILIPINO SPOT IN DALY CITY. Loveee their lumpia and pork skewers. Don't forget cash! But don't worry if you don't bc they also accept Zelle.

Street parking, no indoor seating. The food was exceptional, the chicken skewers were one of the best I've had. I didn't get to try the pork skewers as by 11am on a Saturday they were already sold out... The staff honestly were very nice but extremely slow. From wrapping up the items to charging the card to getting the food, it feels like the DMV. I understand they are elderly but the reason for the line out the door is mainly because of this

For a casual bite of great Filipino BBQ, you can't go wrong with this place. The restaurant embraces a hole-in-the-wall vibe while serving tasty, affordable food. I ordered the BBQ chicken, BBQ pork, and pork adobo, and all were really enjoyable. The BBQ chicken skewer (9/10) was probably the standout. It had a nice sweet and tangy flavor, and the char added great depth. The BBQ pork (6.5/10) had a similar profile, but the meat was mostly fat, which made it less enjoyable. The pork adobo (8/10) was tender and came with a rich, savory sauce that paired perfectly with the rice. I also had the lumpia (7.5/10). They were super crispy but lacked much flavor in the filling. Still solid, but I've definitely had better. This is a great spot for Filipino BBQ and classic staples. I'd definitely order the BBQ chicken again while also trying some other items. There's a reason this place is so well known in the community for serving great, affordable food.

Fil-Am Cuisine offers traditional Filipino entrees, including lumpia and pancit, I only come here for the Pork and Chicken BBQ which is hands down the BEST Filipino BBQ you can find in the Bay Area! The portions are huge (2 servings worth) compare to those you see in other places that also sell Filipino BBQ. The place is very small, not intended for dine-in, ordering only for to-go, cafeteria style. Parking can be challenging, you're lucky if you find street parking close by. I always get dropped off while my family waits in the car. Prices are very reasonable, they only accept cash. If you have a large same day BBQ order, it's best that you call for availability so they can put it aside. Highly recommend if ever in Daly City! Make sure you get the BBQ!

BBQ Pork Skewers - These are the best Filipino BBQ skewers I've ever had. The marinade is sweet and savory perfection and the meat is tender, juicy, and fatty. Highly, highly recommend.

There's a specific kind of magic in a place that looks messy but smells like heaven. Fil-Am Cuisine is exactly that. * The BBQ: 10/10. These aren't your dry, over-charred sticks. They are succulent and heavily sauced. * The Spread: We grabbed 4 dishes plus the skewers for about $65. In 2026, finding a hearty meal for under $10 (like the $9.50 combo) is a rare win. * The Catch: It's cash-only and strictly a "grab-and-go" operation. The Reality Check: While the food hits the mark, the customer service needs a bit of love. The staff was pretty impatient, and the atmosphere felt a little unwelcoming due to some of the remarks made in their native language. It's uncomfortable when you actually understand the "private" venting! I'm coming back for the food, but I'm definitely lowered my expectations for the "service with a smile."

You could pass by Fil-Am and get a whiff of BBQ that'll wafts in the air drawing you in like a moth to a flame! It might be a total "hole-in-the-wall" take-out only joint that's never been updated or upgraded, but many times there's a line out the door! And for good reason, because they give huge portions for a reasonable price and the food is tasty. One take out could last you a few days, so you'll get your money's worth, for sure. For two take out boxes, it was about $23. We've been here a few times, but I keep forgetting to snap a pic of their menu and the stews on display. ***OUR PICKS*** PANCIT AND BBQ CHICKEN SKEWER ~ I like pancit and a few times they ran out. Luckily, this time they had it! There's a bunch of veggies and meat in this dish. And I asked for a chicken skewer because it's less fatty than their bbq pork. Plenty of yummy food to last me a few meals. 5/5 BEEF KALDERETA AND PICADILLO ~ My guy ordered this. He liked the kaldereta but the picadillo was new for him and it was too salty even with rice. He has had their adobo and liked that better. 3.5/5 I usually play it safe and get the bbq meat on skewers. Pancit was an added bonus because they don't always have it. My guy likes to gamble a little and sometimes he wins and sometimes not. This time, he broke even. Next time, he'll get something tried and true like their Kare kare or adobo. We'll definitely be back when we're craving bbq meat or stew!

NOTE: CASH ONLY, TAKEOUT ONLY I've been wanting to try this spot for a while because I wanted to try their Filipino bbq skewers which they're known for. I ordered their 2 BBQ and rice plate special w/an additional chicken skewer. The skewers were pretty bomb. Also I love how generous the portion sizes are. This is a pretty good hole in the wall spot for Filipino food. I definitely recommend checking this spot out. Try it out if you like. :)

This place is cash only. The 2 bbq rice plate is good portion and great skewer of meat. I looooove Diniguan and it was delicious here! Definitely give it a try if ur into pork blood. Also got the lumpia. They were crispy I wish it had a tiny bit more filling! Parking was kinda tough but maybe I went at a bad hour

Wanted BBQ and Fil-Am makes that so accessible. Came in the morning on a Friday so parking was easy. The shop is takeout and the skewers were wonderfully grilled. Got a mix of Chicken and Pork Skewers and only needed to trim a small amount of fat off of the Pork. Service was friendly, and I felt well take care of. I will with Joy come back. Paid via Cash.

Ask the Community - Fil-Am Cuisine

What meat is their lumpia made of?

Usually pork but I think you can ask them to make chicken lumpia for catering order.

    Do they accept credit/debit card?

They do not. It's cash only.

Hello! I was wondering if this the spot owned by Tess Guevara?

Is this place open on Christmas eve?

They are open till 7 pm on Christmas Eve. I'd suggest you go in and place your order(s) ahead if you're ordering trays or a lot of food.

Have you had the crispy garlic fried chicken? Thoughts? Thanks in advance!

What's the difference between a half and full tray?

Are the chicken and pork skewers gluten-free?

    I don't think so.

We got a table of eight one hour before closing time. Our server told us last order was at 6:45 since the cook had to leave early for another gig. They used to close later at night years ago. Our friends embellished our spread with ginataang sitaw at calabasa (beans & squash in coconut milk), bam-i pancit, chicharon bulaklak (ruffle fat) and lechon kawali. Vinegar based sawsawan and Mang Tomas made this feast even better. We all had water because we were binge eating that weekend. Another large party satisfied at Chibogs. I really like the Misua Soup we start with, had a nice chicken flavor and silky noodles. The main platter had so many fun and delicious items. The Crispy Pata was probably my favorite, so crispy and delicious, especially with the various dips. The Longganisa was another highlight with a cross-sectional cut that enabled a lot of surface area to be nicely charred. The Chicharon was another highlight since it both crispy crunchy skin and some softer meat + fat. The Grilled Liempo had the strongest charred grill taste. Everything else was nice too, just too many to enumerate. For dessert the mixed halo halo with ube ice cream was the best. So many great flavors and textures together at once.
