So I have always heard raves about In N Out and the "cult" like following they have so when this one opened up near my house I thought I would finally see what all the hype is about. Well, I don't understand what the hype is about. The burgers are good, but would like a thicker patty. The fries are HORRIBLE! Not enough salt in the world to add flavor to the fries...I think the cardboard they serve them in would have more flavor. I didn't think it was possible to screw up fries but In N Out does. The shakes are okay but for the size and price are outrageous. I can get a much better real ice cream shake down the road at Sonic and 1/3 the price and 3x the size. The employees are real friendly and the place it nice, but the food is not worth eating. So if you want a good burger, but just a burger then its a good place but if you want a burger and fries, go else where. read more

Spent 20 minutes in the drive through to be told at the window that they're only accepting cash. You have popular burger joint that's always busy durring peak hours. This place is located in Modesto off the freeway in a high traffic area. It's a very clean place that serves burgers, fries and, milkshakes. In-N-Out burger constantly has a very friendly staff and they are always more than happy to help you. The only problem is that the fries are a bit stiff and very thin. We went through the drive-thru (only option right now of course) and it took 31 minutes from start of line to pulling away with our food. This was no problem, and they had a great system of having the line of cars routed to maximize space. Order taking was easy and well organized. My problem is that the FRIES were COLD! The burgers were not that warm either. The hold up appeared to be at the windows (weakest link); customers need to be prompted to have payment ready or have a way to pay earlier in the line so that the windows can be dedicated to passing out fresh/hot food more quickly. Surely there is a creative way to move the line faster or to ensure the food is hot at the right timing. This is not the quality we have grown to experience here, and how is the food not hot if the demand is so high? For $22 and at least a 30 minute wait, it's not worth it. Our one splurge every week or two won't be here anymore. read more

This Place is one of the best fast food places me and my classmates we have gone to. Definitely very busy, but the wait is well worth it. They also have a small menu, which makes it easy to order from. The ease of choice is surly one of the predominant stand-out factors. The three combos compared to others which has 15 combos with a various amount of options makes the ordering process much less complex. Another key factor is that its cheap. Other places like carls junior and jack in the box cost as much as a restaurant. Combining both of these factors makes this place an exceptional visit. Though heath-wise, It is still fast food. Came in here yesterday and today. Yesterday the service was okay, the gentlemen who took my order was nice but there was a girl there who I asked for a tray and she said okay... then walked away and didn't come back and I saw her doing other stuff. She forgot to get my tray.. lol ‍ but it's okay. People forget stuff. The gentleman who originally took my order noticed me waiting there for 3 minutes and asked if I needed something else and after he realized she didn't come back he swiftly got me the tray and apologized for the inconvenience.
