Well the chicken stars were weird tasting but my kid loves every type of chicken nuggets and she said they were bomb. The air conditioner was perfect after a hot day. My daughter picked out the #8 combo guacamole burger, comes with fries and a drink. The price was a little steep around $12 bucks. I picked out the $6 box, came with drink, cookie, fries, cheese burger and a spicy chicken sandwich. The wait time wasn't too long. Before we knew it our food arrived. The customer service was non existent. But not knocking them down too much because of it. I just noticed the short staff on a Saturday night. Inside was pretty clean and the plus was the free WiFi. I really enjoyed my meal everything was piping hot and on point. No complaints on my end. My daughter thought her burger was going to have slices of avocado. She miss read the description. I ordered a Double Sourdough Star, an order of Waffle Fries and a Vanilla Shake, and I am happy to say that everything was delicious! My burger and fries were hot and fresh (I asked the drive-thru worker for them that way) and my shake was also good ( It wasn't too thick that I couldn't drink it thru the straw or too water). Where to start... you will need a front end alignment after using their drive through, but it's been that way for years. They got 3 parts of my order wrong, it cost me over $18.00 for one meal plus one side. The onion rings were so tough I literally couldn't chew threw them- did they re-fry old ones? Consistently one of the worst fast food places in the Salida area. Never order chicken here because it will always be overcooked to the point being a block of rubber. Slightly overcooked chicken at a fast food place is not that big a deal, but here they go the extra mile to make sure it's completely inedible. I used to get excited the rare time we'd go to Carls Jr as a kid for the Bacon Swiss Chicken Sandwich and waffles fries. Here, I have to remember to NEVER order chicken because they deliberately ruin it and when it's half the menu items, that's pretty remarkable. I've ordered chicken here maybe two times a year for the past few years in the evening (after 9pm) hours, thinking maybe I was just unlucky, but it has been that way every time. I was charged 4 times $1.25 from cmsverd*cv bay area ven S.J. but the store claims no responsibility and told me to call the bank, then to call the main office at 925 292 1024, who then told me to contact the owner of the franchise and ask for Mary at 650 583 6491. She said they don't charge for credit card use and don't accept debit (I used my debit card). She also said it was my banks fault. I asked to speak to the owner but she wouldn't let me talk to the person who was telling her what to say to me (I heard him talking to her) They also accept no responsibility.
