I. Love. In-N-Out... emphatically. I'm not sure if there is much more to elaborate on other than that, but I shall certainly do my best. There are a handful of locations in the 805, but this is by far my fave. It's centrally located, and I've been coming to this one exclusively since high school. After football games, church, just because it's Tuesday... there's always a reason to celebrate with a Double Double and fries. ALWAYS. The food is fresh, the menu is basic, and it's just so damn good. Not to mention they stay open late. Best evening snack ever. The other locations are a little farther away than I typically travel when I'm home in VC, and the one in Camarillo stays ridiculously packed with not much room to navigate a car. This one, however, has a large parking lot and a decent amount of seating. But considering In-N-Out is arguably the most popular burger chain native to CA, I normally expect to wait for a table to open up. Not really an issue because they make your food to order. Plenty enough time to hawk a free spot. I honestly have nothing to complain about. Just praises from this loyal 10+ year customer. read more

They filled 50 orders in the 20 min I was there, plus a drive thru they had to direct through the parking lot. Despite that, quality still on par and employees were polite. What is not to like about In-N-Out they have great food and great service. I think the service is great and they are very consistent on their quality. The only downside to them being so good is there are almost always huge lines but because they are so efficient you get helped fairly fast considering the lines bravo. read more

The fries were hot but my burger was cold, not warm.... cold. Better version of McDonald's and they're fries are pretty good. Their service is pretty good and we don't have to complain often. They're ambiance is good and it is is pretty nice and cool. The only complaint is that they're cheese fries are pretty lackluster. I would recommend them way more than McDonald's. I sometimes see people saying the fries are bad but there fresh unlike del taco and McDonald's. I'm not saying the other restaurants are bad but they do a lot of things better, they do have less items but if you love hamburgers and good fries and maybe a good milkshake then go here. Also they're fountain sodas are full most of the time and I don't think I've ever experienced their fountain soda being out. I did mention this before but they're staff is good, sometimes they give us a wrong order but most of the time I like it more. You would they they're all the same, right??? Not this place. I honestly, would drive 20 minutes away to get to another one. I understand the labor and hard work behind what they have to do! It's always 3 meals that total around $20. I understand this place is reasonable but, come on... once your bill exceeds over $20 you should be getting what you paid for! The FRIES are the worse here. Very aggravated with the service, wait time, and the fact that they still messed up my order after me clarifying the order twice. I am 8 1/2 months pregnant, running around getting a bunch of errands done, and decided to go through in and out for lunch. The girl outside who took my order was not very polite, but I looked past that and continued with my order. My husband wanted a double double with no cheese and no onion, and I wanted a double double with cheese and grilled onion. We got two double doubles with no cheese and one with raw onion. Raw onion makes me vomit. Then as I go to pay, the girl who swiped my card had dripping wet hands and manages to completely soak my card and smears my name on the back of it from the water. I pulled forward to the next window to receive my order, I informed the girl there that she handed me my debit card back dripping wet and that it could mess up my magnetic strip and had already smeared my signature. She just said OK I will let her know. She then reads my order back to me the way I had asked for it and I drive off frustrated and annoyed and then really upset when I see that my order is not even correct. This is not the first time I've had issues With rude staff or getting an incorrect order which is why I felt compelled to finally write a review. Here's a quick run-down of what you don't see on the regular menu. - Animal style: mustard-cooked beef, extra pickles, extra spread, & grilled onions - Protein style: any burger minus the bun (wrapped in lettuce instead) - Flying Dutchman: 2 beef patties, 2 slices of cheese, no veggies or bun - Grilled cheese: everything a burger has minus the meat - Veggie burger: whole grilled onions, spread, lettuce and double tomato - 2x4: burger with 2 patties, 4 slices of cheese; can do any meat/cheese combo, i.e., 3x5, 10x10, etc. - 3 by meat: 3 beef patties, no cheese; again, can do any amount just add "by meat" at the end, i.e., 4 by meat, 8 by meat - Animal style fries: french fries covered by slices of cheese and smothered with grilled onions and spread Also, since the food is made to order you can specify how you want it cooked. I went here for a late night dinner during my trip to California. There is no In-N-Out Burger in Washington, so I decided to stop by. For some reason, there is so much hype about these burgers. To be honest, I rarely play favorites, but this place is like the Dick's Drive In Restaurants in Washington, except you can also choose to pay with a credit card. Their burgers are pretty similar, but I think In-N-Out stole a part of my heart (and my diet) with the animal-style fries. They are like fries topped with melted cheese and the special sauce that they put in McDonald's Big Mac's. The special sauce is good, but man, I cannot resist melted cheese. Om nom nom... But you know what makes this place (this location in particular...I'm not sure if it's the same for others) better than the McDonald's I go to in Seattle? Cashiers speak English. Double double animal style with animal fries. Have lovlier words ever been spoken? I don't live anywhere near an In-N-Out, so if I'm in the region I can't help but bee-line to the nearest one. This particular establishment just happened to be the closest one to me, but it lived up to the expectations I've come to have for the place.
