I figured it's late on a Sunday night and figured I'd be in and out at In N Out but noooo... the lot was full and the drive through was to the street! When I pulled up to the order taker in the drive through he was very helpful and engaging. At the pay window, that employee was hilariously funny and in great spirits and finally, at the pickup window, that person was also very personable at 10 PM on a Sunday night. This is the closest in n out to us. And having grown up in SoCal, this literally hits home for me in times of me craving a burger or in n out. The best thing about this place is the taste is always consistent among other in n outs so that's a plus. Service here is always good. The drive thru line does take a while though to get through. There were plenty of times where I timed myself from the time I got in line in the drive thru line up until I received my meal, on average it would take about 20 mins. If I'm in and out in 5-10 mins that's a major shock lol. But of course, you will definitely get the full experience of eating a fresh hot meal if you dine in. Unfortunately getting your food through dine in is basically the same amount of time as well as going through drive thru if they're busy. It's all good, they're busy which means the food is good. Onto the food, I normally get a #1 and would ask for onions, grilled onions and extra tomato (good think about in n out is they don't charge for extra vegetables on your burger) and in times when I'm craving softer cooked fries I would ask for a fry light but usually that takes a bit longer to make since they would have to make it fresh, so I normally get regular fries and to top it off with a Dr Pepper drink. Their burgers are really good, my only comment is that I wish they were much bigger lol. Because in times of being super hungry. One burger doesn't really cut it for me, which then I would order two cheeseburgers instead of a double double. (On a side note, I remember when I was in middle school, as a growing boy, I would be able to eat 2 4x4s. Yes two 4x4s. Really great experience at this location! The service was fast and the food was hot and fresh! The fries were nicely salted and crispy. The burger (I did a double double protein style) was so good. Love this place if I want a quick and good quality burger without paying over $10 for a burger meal. Honestly put in n out and McDonald's in the same category solely because of price, but the quality of the burger at In n out is far superior. Let's talk about In-N-Out! For some reason it feels like people don't always like it, which I don't understand, because I love it! To me it is the quintessential California burger. I love that In-N-Out keeps the menu simple, even with their "Secret Menu". Keeping it simple means that what they do have on the menu is done really well! It for sure helps that In-N-Out has a culture of supporting their employees. Happy employees equals happy customers. Customer service has always been exceptional, I've truly never had a disappointing run in. So, let's talk about the food. I always get a Cheeseburger Animal Style (which means pickles and grilled onions) and half of the time I'll also get it Protein Style (meaning no bun, wrapped in iceberg lettuce). In case you didn't know, In-N-Out also has these small, super hot, little yellow peppers. I love taking a little bite of the pepper and then a bite of my burger or fries. I love spicy, but be warned, these peppers are NO joke! As for their French Fries, if I'm being honest, for a while I wasn't a fan of their fries. After experimenting a bit I discovered the perfect combination. I get my fries "Well Done" (meaning twice fried) and "Animal Style" (in this case, meaning covered with cheese, grilled onions, and spread). I love my fries a little crisp, especially if I'm getting them animal style. I'd say about 65% of the time I need to add extra salt to the fries, and 100% of the time I get a minimum of 2 extra packets of spread. Sometimes, if I'm feeling fancy, I'll get a milkshake (instead of my normal Diet Coke) and the only way to get it is "Neapolitan Style" (which is their Vanilla, Chocolate, and Strawberry milkshakes combined). The perfect sweet treat to balance the salty (and spicy, if you get the peppers). In-N-Out is always consistent, always tasty, and always hits the spot. What are your In-N-Out favorites?! read more

Every time I come to this location, I am blown away without fail. Every single employee works hard to make delicious burgers as quick as they can. When I look into the kitchen I never see a single person sitting around, everybody is busy and working quickly. When the restaurant is slow and there's nobody at the register, I have never waited longer than 15 seconds to be helped and have my order taken. My absolute most favorite thing about the Riverton In-N-Out (besides the amazing food) is how polite the staff are. I am always greeted with a smile and a "how are you?" no matter how busy it is. For example today the drive thru line stretched all the way out to the street but Matt took the time to ask me how my day was with a smile and then quickly took my order along with my girlfriend's, and then we waited about 5 minutes before we had mouth watering burgers in our hands. I love the environment of this store, I always feel so welcomed and valued whereas other burger places like McDonald's or Wendy's tend to try and just get me out of their face. I also would like to add that no matter how busy it's been, they always have somebody keeping the store clean. I have never once seen a mess not getting cleaned up as soon as it's noticed. In conclusion, I am absolutely blown away by the quality of service here! Every last employee strives to make In-N-Out a friendly and welcoming environment, along with providing amazing food quality very quickly. Say what you want about your preference In-N-Out hamburgers/menu (which I personally love) but the experience ALWAYS delivers on consistent/efficient/transparent process, friendly & well trained staff, and fresh ingredients & product. I love the open kitchen concept at this location and that you can see everything cooked to order. The menu prices and not asking me to tip their staff (at least through drive thru) is another bonus. I really don't know how they accomplish it but even though their line of cars comes across as intimidating, making you think the wait is going to be long, they are actually extremely efficient, and I have never had to spend more than 10 minutes in their drive thru. The location is a bit off the main road you have to drive around to the small roads to get in. The drive thru service is pretty good though. They would walk up to you to take your order if the line is too long. I do like their service that they care about keep your car clean with food. One time they still let me order like 3 mins before they close. Their burgers are good, but not any better than other locations in my opinion. Finally open! This location is fantastic. I popped in here late last Friday with a friend. As soon as I walked into this location, the staff seemed very friendly and excited to take our order. I ordered a double double animal style with fries and a lemonade. Freaking amazing!! Everything was up to par. The meat was perfectly cooked. The fries were delicious and had just the right amount of salt. The lemonade was absolutely perfect. Actually this place was so good that once I started writing this review, I bumped it from four stars to five. I can be a little bit critical of In-N-Outs because I've been to so many over the past few years in California and Nevada, but the standards at THIS particular location seems to be higher and better than at any of the others that I've been to. I will admit I was one of the skeptics, sure I've seen In-N-Out burger places in other states, but it just looked kind of, well.....boring? Then when they came to Utah, I could never understand the insane line, especially at the Draper one when it first opened. When the Riverton location opened I finally caved, and I get it. Compared to most fast food joints and all their flashy locations, menus with 280 different combos you can order, non which you "really" want etc....well it is boring. And it's a good thing. If you want a good fast food burger and fries, with fresh ingredients, actually prepared as you go through the (slow as a result) drive through, there's no where better. I know everyone loves their fries but I'm not a big fan. Perhaps it's because I prefer more of a steak fry where these fries don't seem to have much in them other than their crispy outside.
