I've been to this place many times, and I just love it. Their strawberry shakes are delicious and their fries are great. Sometimes the wait has been ridiculous, so I appreciate it that they had a kid taking our order at the drive-thru today. I understand that they are busy because their food is good, but today my fries were mostly burnt, and we had three orders of fries (all burnt). The employees have always been friendly, and some have asked me if I have kids in the car; they have given my kids stickers and puzzles. I was so impressed by the wonderful service here. We had 4 hyper children come in demanding hats and stickers, but the staff handled the situation gracefully and kindly. We loved seeing the smiles on the workers' faces! I love how they keep the area so clean, the tables were spotless! My family loved the burgers, as the burger patties were juicy and tasty, and the burger toppings worked well to enhance the overall taste of the burger. The buns were fluffy and their secret sauce is fantastic! The fries were great, but the main star of the meal was clearly the burger. Definitely looking forward to coming back soon! read more

The cashier was terrible. He didn't count the cash I gave him properly and made me pay an extra dollar for my food. He told me the total twice then gave me change back for a different total. After that he gave me the food in a tray though I specifically asked for it to be bagged and they even repeated back to me that it would be. Disappointing, food was how is always is. read more

I personally love coming to In-N-Out whenever I have the chance. I love their fries especially. You can get single or double patty burgers, but if you want more, just ask, even though they aren't on the menu. I usually get a 4x4, which is four patties and four slices of cheese. You can include or exclude as many toppings as you want. You can even get down to just meat and bun, if you don't want anything else on it. They offer lettuce, tomato, onions, and a house sauce, which can be substituted for ketchup and mustard. They also have great shakes. They offer vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry, but you can mix as many of the flavors as you want. You can ask for just two of the flavors, or you can get a full neapolitan shake with all three flavors, which is what I get. They have a secret menu as well, which is fun to order off of because they aren't on the normal menu and the employees act as if they are on the menu if you order them. Overall, I would rate 4.5 stars, but since I can't rate that, 4 will do. read more

The burgers are good, the milk shakes are very good, but as much as I wanted to like the fries, which are fresh cut right in front of you, they just aren't that tasty. A great French fry is fried in moderately hot oil to cook it through, left to rest and cool, then fried a second time in hotter oil to crisp the exterior. In-and-out only fries their potatoes once, and you get with fries with the texture of styrofoam peanuts. What a shame. However, this has to be the cleanest, friendliest, most efficient burger joint I've ever seen, and it's a lot cheaper than other "premium" burger places, so we'll continue to visit occasionally. How can anyone ever rate an In & Out a 2?! Well this is partially my fault. I should know better than to expect anything quality coming out of any restaurant on a Sunday in Riverton/South Jordan, UT. But in my defense, I was driving around with a peacefully sleeping toddler and I held out as long as I could. Pros: The menu is very simple so you don't have to sit there looking at the menu trying to figure out what you want to get. The food is quick and it all tastes fresh! I really enjoy their milkshakes. Try the Neapolitan (hint: it's not on their menu) Cons: The drive-thru usually has, on occasion, a monster of a line so I always recommend just parking the car and walking inside, although there can sometimes be a line inside as well. I got my burger without cheese because they only have American; one of my least favorites. The burger was juicy & cooked about medium well & came with lettuce & onions. The lettuce was a little wilted, but it wasn't too bad. I really enjoyed the French fries. They were a shoe string type fry. They could have been just a bit crispier though. There were some dark brown, almost burnt little fries at the bottom...Yum! They were also seasoned very well with what seemed kind of like an Old Bay, but milder, type of seasoning. In N Out has some good options. I love their Strawberry Shake the most. The Burgers are good, i just feel they are really missing out on the fry sauce option. Since they have only Ketchup or Salt for Fries and Burgers. Their Secret Spread pretty much tastes like Thousand Island Dressing to me, I'm not a fan. Their fries are pretty good though if you are adding salt to them. The real appeal here are the simplicity of the options. Cheeseburger, Hamburger or Double Meat Double Cheeseburger. They have a Secret Menu where you can add mustard fried Onions or Animal Style Pickles or Onions to a Sandwich. I prefer mine without. You can get the Burgers in a combo and add a shake to top it off. The Vanilla Shake is bland. Get the Strawberry!! The Drive Thru takes a good 15-20 minutes at times. I was at the Riverton hospital and decided to stop here after I was done. Darren took our orders and was very nice! Our order was simple, 1 grill cheese with spread only, and another grill cheese with everything on it. No matter if In N Out is busy or completely empty, our order always takes forever! The way to enter this In-N-Out's not well planned. You gotta do a bunch of turns just to get into the parking lot here and even then service is slow. They make burgers with lots of vegetables, which is alright. I tried ordering well done fries here before, but they always give it to me cooked normal, so I don't know if it's because they are just lazy or don't know what well done means. Either way, it's decent especially for the price. I recommend the animal style double double cheeseburgers and animal style fries. Both pretty good. Shakes are good too--if you like neopolitan ice cream, you should order the neopolitan shake (secret menu item). I'll come back. read more

I'm just not a huge fan of In-n-Out Burger. I don't understand what all the hype is around it. Sure, the burgers are pretty big, and extremely inexpensive for what you're getting, but they aren't very good either. I swear they have a grease machine that they coat the bun in before giving you your burger. The bathroom is tiny, with 2 stalls and 1 sink for the 100 people that are in the restaurant at any one time. The whole experience just seems really cheap, kind of like McDonalds. My biggest pet peeve of all, they have no fry sauce. Who doesn't have fry sauce in Utah!? Really, I can think of a hundred places I'd rather eat at than In-N-Out. read more
