You can never go wrong with in and out, but one thing I will say about this location, is they need to get rid of the people selling things at your window every time I come there's always 5 or more people at your window begging for money or selling you something it's lowkey annoying. read more

The service coming is always welcoming and employees are very kind from the jump, I came In with my service dog as i usually do a weekly basis but today was good at all ordered a 3x3 no salt with animal style fries no salt for health issues and they left my burger sitting there for a cool 15 minutes cause kept forgetting to get my fries so I got a cold burger and they still added salt even tho I asked for no salt and was on the receipt. The restaurant is always well stocked and very clean although one of the soda machines was out of commission and they didn't put some kind of sign. Drive thru is always busy. Inside was dead when we went, every single table was dirty. There was a few employees who weren't doing much but talking, and didn't bother to clean tables or pick up trash left behind. I went to ask for something to clean a table, and so he came and cleaned our table and the one next to us. But after cleaning the table put the trash back on it instead of throwing it away. And left the pile of trash on the floor under it as well. Also figured food took forever because they were talking. Nice to see them enjoying the job. But I mean could've cleaned a bit too. I went through the drive-thru in SouthGate on Thursday 4/13/23 between 4and 5 pm (in case that matters) the fries were bruised and had a green tint to them, were dry (powder like) and undercooked. Worst fries I've ever paid for. Burgers were just Blah and dry.This has to be the worst In"n" out store in the franchise. The Downey and Huntington Park locations are SO much better. I normally chalk it up to bad luck but this is not the first time I've had this happen at this location. Our go to in & out, the lines here are pretty long but they move at a decent pace so expect a good 10-15 mins through the drive through! The staff are friendly here & very accommodating. The fries in the day are significantly less crunchier than getting them in the evening but they were still enjoyed. My favorite order is the Number 2 cheeseburger with whole grilled onions, & sliced chilis, it really elevated the normal burger. Definitely will keep coming here. read more

I come all the way from downtown to South Gate Walmart. I walk over to In-N-Out and grab lunch before heading home (they open at 10:30 am every day). Service is always quick and courteous by the associates. I've never had any problems (with food or service) since I've been coming to this restaurant. The food is always good and the place is always clean - inside and outside. I eat outside a lot as the weather is always nice. In-N-Out is one of my favorite places to eat, unfortunately your timing has to be just right to get in. It seems every store seems congested inside and the drive through, because it's so popular.
