When I walked last night 15 minutes before close, no one was trying to rush me out and still asked if I wanted to eat there. This was delightful because usually people are completely poops about it. I wish I knew the young man's name who was the cashier he was so kind, outgoing, and just overall super bubbly and friendly. My had a small baby and I went in first to order and then went outside to trade with my husband so he could use the restroom as we waited for our to-go order. Without me sharing any thoughts with my husband the first thing he said when he got back is how supremely friendly the young man was and how he swears his attitude was contagious because he came out with a smile on his face. The food itself as mentioned was great. We took advantage on the specials for the double cheeseburger and the chicken sandwich. I know people will debate it, but I enjoyed the well seasoned and tasty breaded sandwich much more than In-n-out. The chicken sandwich tasted so high-quaity in comparasion to most fast food sandwiches I've ever had and priced so affordably. The entire resturant and the restroom were impicaly clean, the defintion of "sparkling clean". Tasty and good as always, but the Chicken club sandwich was a disappointment. 2 pieces of chicken barely fit the bun with bacon. My wife doesn't squavel like I do. My first job was in food. My family and I eat here frequently, we like it. Tonight we came by after a long time of not dining in. Mostly that im in college and we're a home that usually cooks every meal. There's a chicken sandwich seen on the menu! That's cool, My father and I were excited to try it. We saw the "spicy" option offered for many other chicken adjacent items, it made us think this was a dry rub and/or seasoning. Photos seem to be like fried chicken tenders, so we ordered without clarification. For starters - the spot is a small, cheap, and straight to the point restaurant. With some special additives like chili and different sauces. Usually there's no need for a fuss over a meal, especially considering that these burgers are cheap. Our family was extremely dissatisfied when 2 of us received a chicken sandwich that was just "spicy" from some kind of tangy buffalo sauce/hot sauce used for chicken wings. My father ate it - he's a no fuss man but also was really disappointed by the sauce and didn't like it. Myself - I absolutely do not like hot sauce/wing sauce. Most drive-ins have something that's a chicken sandwich spiced with actual SPICES, this is just hot sauce or buffalo sauce. I could not eat it, and I always get a burger meal so i decide to eat my fries and quietly contemplate. My dad knew I was also dissatisfied and took the chicken sandwich up to the front. We first asked if we could get a regular cheese burger at the same price because this was not a good meal (asked to replace). Reasonably are told we cannot interchange items (chicken sandwich for a beef burger) due to price difference and item difference. We asked if we could just buy another burger & of course we can. It's no issue, it's a $3 burger but we were really dissatisfied. Because of our dissatisfaction they just gave us the replacement burger for free after all. I was charged the "difference" but because they're the same price it balanced to zero. Not doing this review to scare anyone, we like nexx burger alott!!! Just sharing that the new items may need clarification as it's a saucy and not dry seasoning/spice. Also sharing this because if you experience a let down where you spend money - you should be able to advocate that and be met with reasonable response. It's our luck that it was a $3 burger but to imagine it being a higher expense or a less simplistic issue ... im not sure we'd be so fond of nexx burger or the employees. Even when the replacement burger was made, no one called us up and workers just talked and looked at our family as we waited and ate the rest of our meal. We saw after awhile some burger just sitting on the counter and finally we went to ask if it was ours. We didn't ask for a whole upgraded burger or anything customized or crazy. We were extremely respectful and patient as well as understanding. With all said, check it out one night my youngest sister loves it. Be weary of new items or anything new to you. I guess just ask questions and know that you might end up buying something else somewhere else if it's not what you expected. But I don't see why anyone should leave a food spot hungry. I'll stop by again and I won't make the mistake of trying something new. The chicken sandwhich or any "SPICY" items are not what you wanna go for. Ordered delivery because I just wasn't leaving the house. Did not want to cook. Wanted to cater to a DBL Cheese Burger with Chili Cheese Fry crave that I had to quench. My order arrived in reasonable enough time and the delivery driver was more than professional. My DBL Cheese Burger hitting the spot for an only meal but as well as past dinner hour meal. We arrived on a Friday evening and saw that the drive-thru line was long, so we decided to order inside. The cashier was very nice and patient while taking our order. We ordered three Number 1 meals (hamburger, fries, and a drink). We waited patiently, but quickly noticed that the drive-thru customers were receiving their food much faster than those of us who ordered inside. A gentleman went to the counter to complain. During the exchange, the manager told him, "Why don't you come back here and cook it yourself?" I was completely shocked and immediately wanted to leave, as I did not want the situation to escalate any further. Luckily the customer walked away We eventually received our food 30 minutes later. This is not an exaggeration. Our receipt shows the order was placed at 7:04 p.m., and we did not receive our food until 7:36 p.m. Very disappointing. The food itself was disappointing. They were both incredibly sweet, welcoming, and genuinely helpful from the moment we pulled up. Sometimes drive thru workers can seem rushed or uninterested, but they both had such kind energy and made the interaction feel really personal and comfortable. They were patient, attentive, and made sure everything came out right while still being super friendly the entire time. I was also pleasantly surprised while driving around that we can see what the staff is doing in the kitchen through the huge window. Kind of cool and makes the wait a little more interesting. We usually go for the chicken burger, the regular hamburger, or the chicken strips, and the food is always on point whether we use the drive-thru or eat inside. ​Today was an especially nice visit! The atmosphere was perfect--good music, entertainment on the TV, and the A/C was at a comfortable temperature (not too cold, which we appreciated). The vanilla smoothie this time and it was delicious. ​I didn't catch her name, but I want to give a huge thank you to the girl at the front register; she was very kind and welcoming. We left around 4:40 PM, and another team member even held the door open for us on our way out. It's those small gestures that make a big difference. The person who took our order, Jose, had great customer service!! There is a lot of indoor and outdoor seating! They do have a drive thru. & There is a lot of parking availability. I tried the cheeseburger, fries & the regular tenders. The burger was good but the pickle taste from the sauce is strong so next time I would do no sauce, personal preference. Overall though, the burger had great flavor, it was nicely cooked. Unfortunately the tenders for me were dry. They were nice and crispy but maybe they were overcooked. Not only is the food very affordable, but the portions are good and the flavor is fantastic. The double cheeseburger taste like an In-N-Out double double but it's only $3.70. They sweet potato fries are about $3.90 so the whole meal with taxes less than nine dollars. There aren't too many around, but I can see this chain growing quickly. Also ordered: X Burger with fries (heard from recipient this order was good). The customer service was not what it was in the beginning. The fried spicy chicken sandwich reminded me of boneless buffalo chicken wings. The chicken was drenched in this sauce and was somewhat soggy. The fried chicken burger had very little veggies. Barely any lettuce and what not. In addition, we also tried the cheeseburgers. The sauce wasn't the greatest and I felt it had distinct after taste. For a sweet treat we tried the strawberry shake which was deliciously creamy. Overall, decent burger joint if you're hungry and theirs nothing else available. However, I probably wouldn't come back. The pictures in the reviews -- which I later saw owner images are misleading. The food/burgers look nothing like this. I would rate this a 6/10. read more
