Nick has the personality of a dead fish. If you are woman looking for cabinets, bring a man with you, or Nick will be dismissive towards you. When the cabinets arrived, there was paint on top of one of the cabinets which I didnt complain about. But 2 doors were scratched. Nick said my contractor scratched the doors. Funny thing is...you can clearly see the doors were scratched before they were painted. Nick claimed I can open 100 boxes and if any of them are scratched he would give me all of my cabinets for free. Cut it out sir...the doors were scratched before they left your warehouse. this company is a complete fraud! we spend almost 10k on a kitchen and asked for high quality cabinets! and we got damaged and horrible cabinets! the owner got rude! the son was the only one attempting to be understanding but no one said, "hey, lets fix the damages by replacing it." they took two weeks to delivery the cabinets, they forgot to send pieces. we had to wait one more week for the missing pieces. now we was waiting on the counter top when they want almost 5k for the counter top and we would have to wait another two weeks for it. after you pay them, they give you the most horrible service ever. i wish i would've read the reviews and did research on this place before putting in an order. i wont recommend this place or even ever ever give them business again!!! read more

Angelique designed a fabulous apartment kitchen for our Westchester co-op and she spent a lot of time accommodating every request, including a matching island in the dining area. She made many spot-on suggestions such as bronze hardware when I had stainless in mind, and she maximized every square inch of space resulting in tons of storage, which is so critical in an apartment kitchen. These are not American-made or custom cabinets (hence "InStock") but you cannot beat the price. Other staff there might not be as helpful, so ask only for Angelique when you go with your contractor and she will not disappoint. We were so lucky she was our designer. This place is the worse. The things other people posted are absolutely true - once you pay them, they don't care anymore. They say they will deliver one day, and then they delay, delay and delay. Cabinets arrived damaged and scratched, and when exchanged they gave tons of trouble, and now waiting another two weeks, and no ETA on when they will be ready. They have missed two deadlines so far already, and now when we call, they don't even call you back. We call and then they say they'll let us know and another week goes by and nothing. Stay away from this place, save your money and save yourself a giant headache. Go with a mom and pop local cabinet place and you'll be much happier. read more

I don't like leaving bad reviews but this place is pretty bad. I was recommended to this place by my neighbor who just recently bought cabinets from them so I decided to give them a shot. I'm renovating my place and in need of entirely new kitchen cabinets and a bathroom vanity. I made eye contact with two gentlemen behind the second counter and they didn't even acknowledge me. I literally had to ask for help after standing infront of their counter for a few minutes. The gentleman I spoke with was very rude and not helpful. I literally just took my plans and walked out. I had an unpleasant experience at this store and especially with a staff named NICK, who is driving customers away with his bad, unprofessional and rude behaviour. Our order was supposed to be delivered on friday and we called and called but no one took responsibility to even get back to us. If the store manager is reading this, he should fire Nick for being rude on the phone and telling me he wont give me an update but he will call me contractor. In the end, he didnt call me nor my contractor for the substantial amount paid. DONT go to this store and DONT get stuck with this guy. read more

Anyone giving higher than a one star is part of the company. They gave me inaccurate blueprint of the layout, never answered their phone. Scheduled drop offs and did not even show. They also destroyed my kitchen when they were hired to install one. These people care about nothing more than their check. If I had to do it again I would not EVER consider them again. After 3 calls to try and get back to the rep I was talking to the guy on the phone just quickly said "yah we can't do it, it would take weeks to do it". So basically just wasted two days of my time. Buyer Beware! In Stock Cabinets makes promises, enters Product Orders wrong, never checks inventory and does not back up their work. Instead, they simply refund your money because they do not want to deal with the customers. Is there a plus side: They give Refunds and do not make the customer accept their mistakes. The downside: You need to seek out another cabinet company, starting from the beginning. After an experience with a store front cabinet shop, thought eliminating the middle person and go direct would have been the route. Sadly, for this company, they need to brush up on their Selling Skills to the public. I doubt they are going to change their ways. I use them all the time for my Cabinet projects. You will not get kit glove treatment from them if that's what you are hoping for, but if you show up with accurate measurements of your space, they will help you create the best layout for your space. The quality of their products are great. You will not get a better price for a comparable cabinet. If your priorities for purchasing cabinets are Great Price and Quality then you can't go wrong with these guys If you need your hand held through the process, and I am not saying there is anything wrong with that, but if that's what you need then this isn't the place for you. read more

This past summer my husband and I started renovations on our kitchen. We chose In Stock Cabinets in Yonkers due to a positive feedback from a family friend. Our first salseman was Alex who we began our process with. He assured us that everything we had chosen was be constructed of solid wood. We sat with him and began our layout. On our next visit he was not available, so we sat with another designer named Angelique. She finished off what Alex started and also assured us that the cabinets would be constructed of wood. We were totally satisified, put a downpayment, and began the process. A week later Angelique called us to pick up a sample door. It was perfect, constructed of wood and exactly as we expected it to be in color and design. We were told that it would take 3 weeks for delivery. It was more like a month and a half. Our delivery was promised in the early afternoon between 1 and 3, and it did'nt arrive until after 5pm. While opening the cabinets as they were installed we found numerous problems. Color distortation, indented panels, chipped crown mouldings , oversized custom key holder box. My husband brought each of them back to Alex since Angelique was no longer employed by In Stock. Alex was unhappy to see him and deal with these small issues, but he followed through. Once a larger problem was found with all of our custom cabinet doors, drawers, and panels we began to closely over look all the cabinets. To our shock we realized that all of them were constructed of MDF and not wood. We returned and talked to Alex who tried to convince us that MDF was a better choice than wood, and that all the high end homes order MDF rather than wood. He also went on to say that the cost between MDF and wood were exactly the same. He added that there was more craftsmanship that went into MDF doors than wood. We. realized that he was trying to jerk us around and get us to be satisified with what they delivered. This was not the case were very upset that he was trying to make idiots of us to believe his bulls**** . We let him know that the sample door given to us prior to construction was made of solid wood, and we showed it to him. We told him that"s what we wanted, and that was what we paid for! We were totally disgruntled by his lack of consideration for our intellegence on this matter. He tried to pass the buck on the designer Angelique who was no longer employed by InStock. He told us he would contact her to resolve this issue. We tried as well with no luck and returned our call to him. After numerous calls we finally got through. Alex informed my husband he was not going to help us resolve this matter he said he refused to change any doors because to him they are all in perfect condition. He also said he's prepared to go to futher measures so that we are not compensated for anything more in this matter. InStock cabinetry is a fradulant and unprofessional company. Their so called designers/salesreps lead you to believe and trust in them, and once they have your money they cut every corner possible to give you the cheapest quality so they can maxamize the companys profit and their own commission. They also will use every excuse possible to cover their lies and mistakes, and through their companies representation the customer loses out. Take your business and money elsewhere. Don't trust in a place that falsifies their products and misleads you. They get a whopping o stars for their misrepresentation, dishonesty, overpricing and lack of quality materials delivered after payment. read more

DO NOT do business here. Bunch of scam artists who will waste your time. They deserve a zero star review. I recently purchased two kitchens and was waiting for a Tuesday morning delivery. Tuesday came, and half my upstairs kitchen was missing upon delivery and they "forgot" to deliver my downstairs. So I was promised a Wednesday morning delivery. I called every hour from 9-4 with no answers and finally I was told "sorry" , it'll Thursday morning. Thursday morning came and went I called every hour and again no answer. All the while I hired a carpenter who specializes in installing kitchens to sit around with no work to do for 3 days at this point. I was then called Thursday 4pm and was told Friday 9am it would be delivered by "Ali". Around 11am they arrived with again random pieces "fillers" missing. I told the delivery man they were missing pieces. His response was "no you pay still" which I explained why would I pay for an incomplete kitchen. Immediately I was called by instock cabinets and I explained I would not pay the balance until the rest was delivered. Once again, nobody answers their phone or texts so I went out and bought the missing pieces so my carpenter could install the kitchen and I could be done with the project. Then I started receiving calls from instock telling ME I'm avoiding them and I'm trying to avoid payment when all I asked was to deliver what was promised. Once again that was never done. I was then called back and threatened with a "lien being put on my house if I don't pay" This company is pure bull$hit. Avoid at all costs. The headache and lies and wasted time is not worth any "discount" they apply. Bunch of unprofessionals.
