I ordered their ceremonial matcha latte (oat milk, simple syrup, 50% sweet) and it tasted way better this time around. I wouldn't say it's my absolute favorite, but it's definitely up there to my liking. Plus their newest menu item: heirloom tomato cream cheese bagel. Since it's located inside Source mall, I find myself coming here pretty often because it's so convenient and easy to access. The coffee has a slightly bright, acidic flavor, which I really enjoy. It's also not a bad place to study, and the staff are always very friendly. But there is ONE major downside... it's way too hot. I mean, isn't one of the reasons we go to a coffee shop to sit somewhere cool and comfortable while studying? I'm not sure if they don't have the AC running enough because the place gets so crowded, but I was sitting there trying to study and eventually got so hot that I had no choice but to leave. Drinks 7.5/10 I tried two drinks I haven't had before recently--the Sparkling Strawberry cooler and the Banana Matcha Cloud 9 latte. I was sad that they got rid of their Matcha Passionfruit Tonic (I hope they bring it back!) and was in search for another carbonated drink that wasn't too heavy. The Sparkling Strawberry cooler is a carbonated drink with strawberry puree topped with a lemon. It's simple, but very refreshing and light with a strong strawberry flavor as well as real pieces of strawberry. Would order this again! I also recently had the Banana Matcha Cloud 9 latte. Unfortunately I wasn't a huge fan. The matcha is pretty light and it tasted almost a bit watered down. The banana also leaned a bit more on the artificial side and overall was quite expensive at almost $9 with tax. Would probably not order again. Ambiance 7/10 The aesthetic of the cafe is really nice, modern, and clean, but it's always so busy with many people studying. I've been around half a dozen times in the last year and usually come alone or with a friend or two and we always struggle to find seating no matter the time of day. Would still come here to study again, but it can sometimes be a hit or miss. Came here on a weekday and seems to be a popular spot but plenty of seating still available. Interior is nice with exterior seating. Asked the barista for recommendations and gave a wide variety. I asked if they were more well known for coffee or tea and said it was a mix of everything...so we just opted for coffee since it's in the shop name. The HOT CHOCOLATE must have been great because it got downed before I could even ask for a sip. The CLOUD 9 is a matcha drink that must have been also very good because it didn't last long enough for me to ask for a sip. There was a very short line to order. It wasn't difficult for us to find a table, though the place was full. It also wasn't long before we got our order. The space itself is so cute- think Korean coffee shop or bakery vibes that make you feel like you're somewhere trendy in Seoul! The crowd here is mixed with students studying with their headphones and laptops to ladies coming for a treat after church- normally a mixed crowd and full house. Service is decent to good, depending on the day. Not overly friendly or helpful but not rude. The only down I've experienced here is being told an order was going to take an extra 10 minutes that turned into a 35 minute wait (apparently because the one cook went on his lunch break). But other than that, nothing to complain about... The drinks here are good- not AMAZING, but better than average/Starbies. My go to is the hojicha latte! The pastries are also all delicious, but we always come for the canéles!!! Since it's currently something kinda hard to find in most bakeries, we love that they have them here! But if you're hungry, order pretty much anything on the menu because all the toasts are DELICIOUS!!! Came here recently and got a rose latte and a Kyoto cold brew. The Kyoto style sold me as I've never heard of it. Basically it's a cold brew but there's one drip at a time to make it or something. It was okay lol. It's not like you can really taste/distinguish the difference. The rose latte for my gf was altered so it was decaf. I didn't try but she said that there wasn't any rose flavor at all. She gave the drink a 3 or 4. Service was good though. I wouldn't come again unless a friend really wanted to. read more

Drinks: 1) Sweet Hojicha Latte - My bf ordered this hot and size large. The hojicha was smoky and sweet. He liked that it wasn't overwhelmingly sweet, so he could still taste the hojicha. 2) Spanish Latte - This was recommended to me. I ordered this in a size large with easy ice. The only thing I get here is Iced Americano. So this review is JUST SOLELY for this drink only haha. Everyone has their own preference when it comes to the bean and richness but for me, although their Americano has been very consistent so far, ita bitttttt acidic considering that I only get dark roasted espresso blend. Nice, clean ambiance with a good amount of seating options, groups, individual, and date/catchup. Service was extremely friendly, the barista behind the counter is very good with reading body language. I ordered a banana latte and was quite pleased with the drink. I found it cleaver that they added a drop of chocolate sauce to give the nutty/seedy feel that you find in the inside of a banana. Definitely would recommend as long as you don't mind paying $6.50 for a banana latte. Free parking in the structure. read more

This is one of my go-tos because it's a nice drink to sip on after you had a meal and are just walking around to digest. It's not too sweet. Light peachiness, light tea flavor. Not fresh peach because I think it's made with a syrup, but I like it for a light drink with little-to-no caffeine. Overall, it's a nice, clean place to visit. The drinks are appropriately priced when comparing with the market, maybe even on the cheaper end for some drinks (but I haven't tried other drinks to consider quality to price). While their menu selection isn't anything innovative or unique to them, but I see In-sīt Coffee as an appropriately priced and consistent quality type of place.
