It's a darling place - seating inside is cozy but a little "tight"/outside is on the sidewalk (nice/though noisy). They seemed nice enough - however, not overly friendly or happy to have us as patrons even though they weren't exactly busy. They have a variety of "tea goods" - pots, cups, strainers, etc ... all nice/good selection and prices. HUGE selection of teas and quite a nice variety of baked goods. My friends and I met this morning - they had scones (blueberry and orange/cranberry and both yummy) and I had the almond cake (dense but in a good way, good flavor/tasty, nice crunch from a light icing) but ... $6 for a glass of iced tea? Really? And I didn't even get the tea bag so I could add water for a refill. I'd like to go back but can't really afford $11 for a tea and a nibble. Disappointing. read more

I used to frequent this shop prior to the pandemic and loved the welcoming, cozy environment that always greeted me when I walked through the door. My taste buds today, however, were left with a rather bitter taste due to the cold indifferent attitudes from the workers on site. Maybe it's the busyness of the season or perhaps they've been short staffed--though there were three employees behind the register today. I was pretty much ignored for half of my visit, even when standing directly at the counter, and the woman who finally came over to address my question acted so put out that even my husband noticed and said something about it as soon as we walked out the door. If you're looking for a friendly face behind the mask as opposed to a scowl, or a place that helps to make the spirits bright this harried holiday--instead of badgered and belittled--I'd recommend stopping in at Enchanted Grounds, Festive Cup, or 303 Coffee instead. When you leave a tea shop feeling even more stressed out than you were before, then it's time to search for a new place IMO. read more

A tea lovers dream come true! I was visiting my sister last month and she knows how much I LOVE tea, so she made sure to bring me to In-tea for a cuppa and a good shopping experience. How many tea shops have a 20 page long menu of tea flavors? (I'm guessing at the actual page count, but I'm probably close : ) I was really impressed that they had great variety not only of your usual suspects, black, green, herbal - but also had some fabulous options in OOLONG! Oolong is a favorite of mine, and often there are maybe 3 varieties at any given tea shop. I also love that you can hang out and have a nice cuppa while browsing the amazing selection and take your time deciding what to buy. Whatever your favorite type of tea, this place will have a huge variety to select from. Even though I don't live in CO, I'll be shopping their website from now on! This is my first time at this spot and I am very satisfied. I came to study and have some tea. Thankfully it took me just a short time to find a parking spot for free a block down. The shop has a lot of options for tea as well as tea accessories. The service was prompt and receptive, ordering your tea and then bringing it to your table. Free wifi and outlets near many tables make it ideal for a working afternoon. I tried the pineapple green tea at the recommendation of the server alongside a cinnamon strip. The cinnamon strip was INCREDIBLE. It is much more moist and nutty than the usual cinnamon buns I have ever tasted before. It was beyond words. The pineapple tea was warm and freshly pineapple-y and the green flavor wasn't too potent. I also tasted a sample of the lavender earl grey slush tea that was truly incredible. You can add boba to it if you'd like. It's comparable I would say to a tea frappacino but much more delicious. The lavender was not too overwhelming but a great balance to the earl grey. Though the concept to a die hard tea-head seems a bit off base, this was a home run. Next time I'm here I'm going to try one of the tea-cocktails SO more on that at a later date. read more

I haven't been to In Tea since they moved to their new location downtown (which will tell you how long it's been since I've visited!) I'm certain they are getting better business in this new location even though the space is far smaller. Visited last week on a quick pop in for some black tea for brewing Kombucha. Not super cheap but I want tasty 'buch! They sell their loose tea in pre-measured foil packets FYI - I had only wanted about 3 tbs of each flavor instead of a larger amount, but I'm a regular tea drinker as well so I can deal! It was about $19 for both packets so on the pricey side but again, I'm interested in brewing quality tea. If you love tea, you'll have stars in your eyes here. Wall-to-wall tea in every flavor you can think of and more. They run specials so keep your eye out. There's a small dining room where they serve chilled drinks and sandwiches out of a cooler as well as tea-swag (tea kettles, pots, mugs, glassware) and I could swear I also saw booze behind the cash register? Go get your drink on in more ways than one! I'll definitely be back to sample more flavors. read more

Just a little in love with this place! I stopped i while strolling along Main Street and was overtaken by the aroma of just about every kind of tea you could imagine. I'm a coffee girl to the bone but can appreciate some tea given the mood. I saw their specials of the day and the Orange Dreamsikle (how they spelled it!) automatically caught my eye. Since it was near 95 degrees out, I opted for the iced version and it was absolutely delightful. Cutest little tea shop in town! So many varieties and everyone is super knowledgable about the teas. It's definitely amazing and overwhelming to look at all the choices and combinations but they ladies will be your guide and help you pick out the perfect tea for your day. I went with an iced Moroccan mint and it was perfect for a summer walk. They have baked goods and really fun and unique tea cups, mugs, and other accoutrements! The best way I can describe this tea shop is horribly inconsistent and when it's bad, it's horrible. The first time I had ever gone was with myself and 3 other people where we all ordered boba tea, and it was amazing, we had fun and the tea was delicious and sweet. I really couldn't believe how bad the tea was in my following visits. I tried going 3 more times with friends and family, and every visit the boba tea became more and more watery, I ordered the same thing each visit and all the teas were watered down. My last experience was 4/10/19 and it tasted like dirty water for the 2 boba teas we had gotten. There was no hint of tea and no sweetness to it, it was a to go order that wasn't tasted in the store but driving on our way home. It's like they just poured ice water in a cup with some boba at the bottom. Needless to say, we will no longer be going here. Do NOT get the boba tea, it's watered down and terrible. read more

Sweet tea house for the experienced tea drinker. They have 160 flavors of tea and too many to choose from. They do ship out of state and the employees are super sweet. She took the time to educate us when I told her we had never visited. I ordered my first matcha tea and the woman suggested putting it with lemonade and I was thankful for her suggestion since I have never had matcha. This shop is also a tea house where you can read while you enjoy your tea. It's located in a cute little town full of boutiques. I will definitely return to this tea shop again. read more

Do you love tea? If so, you would love it here. There are drawers of teas from floor to ceiling. Organized in types such as oolongs, white teas, green teas, and black teas. There are at least 10 to 15 of each variety. I got an oolong and it was delicious. There are also lots of trinkets and cute cups you can buy. And they have chess if you feel like drinking your tea and staying awhile. All the tea is loose leaf, which is nice. My only complaints would be its a little pricey, and the girl at the counter had a serious attitude. Nothing that could ruin my evening though. Great little joint. read more

Tea snobs, Unite! This is a fantastic tea venue. They have a great range of teas, pretty knowledgeable staff, terrific service and a great environment. We like to go at brunchish time on the weekend and have some food and some tea. They've even set aside my wife's fave breakfast when she called ahead to make sure they have it when we get there. The Phoenix Mountain Oolong is magnificent. We get one pot to share and usually take one free infusion. As if you couldn't already tell it's great, they DON'T serve coffee. It's enough to make a guy propose. Seems clear that if there were more places like this in the world, there would be less violence. Or more tea. Or I would just like it better. I really wanted to like this place because I LOVE tea. I bought tea here and it's alright. I came back to get some Boba tea and I was very disappointed. The boba isn't as good as other places. Also they gave me a small when I ordered the large size. I told the lady something and she went to give me the large cup and she filled it with ice and the poured my small drink into the large. This is NOT a tea house- it is a tea shop with a seating area. I would bet many of the people that love this place also like coffee. I do not drink coffee, but drink a lot of tea, and am very careful about how I prepare it. I hadn't been here in a couple years and I now remember why. -The setup is not relaxing due to the sitting area and retail being all smashed together. -the tea is brought to you pre-steeped without the leaves in a tiny pot. No timer or questions about how you like your tea. This is the only tea house I have been to that does this. -The tea that is brought to you is over-the-counter and horridly bitter. Nice job, you just ruined a premium oolong tea. No subtlety, no maltiness, just bitter burnt grossness. -if you know oolong, then you should know the second steep is often the best. They charge you 50cents for a second steep, and DO NOT ASK if you are going to want a second steep when you pay! If you don't inform them at checkout, then they throw away the leaves! How hard is it to ask someone this when you ring them up??? It can't be any harder than "do you want fries with that?" ! Your sign says a second steep is 50 cents, but doesn't say "speak now or forever hold your peace!". Never again. Won't be back. read more

InTea is my favorite study spot next to campus. Ive been coming here since 2012, when they moved to Littleton. Comfortable atmosphere, and not intrusive staff make it perfect to get serious studying/procrastination done. They have over 50 read on their wall, so chances are they have to have something you like. I always get one of their slush teas with boba and never had a bad one. Prices are fair, maybe a little marked up if you want something substantial, like a refrigerated sandwich, but still under 10$ for a light lunch. Not bad at all says I! After hours they also make tea cocktails, and these are creative and tasty too. Recently I've enjoyed the Matcha/Lemonade/white rum combo, perfect for the summer. Went here today for the first time my mother and I. Thought it would be a cool place which it is except the worker behind the counter with curly blonde hair was extremely rude. I don't know what his problem was but he was acting like we were stupid when we were ordering tea. Then walking back towards the bathroom after ordering I heard him making fun of my mother and I to his coworkers! We waited for our drinks for a good 15 minutes all while he was giving dirty looks our way then laughing to his coworker yet again. The tea was fine and the interior is nice but I would hope the owner considers talking to this employee about respect and how to treat customers otherwise they will keep losing customers. read more

What a great addition to downtown Littleton! It was recommended to me by a friend and so I wandered in one weekday afternoon and it was perfectly delightful. The ambiance is lovely, and the staff super helpful. I don't know anything about tea and Ben very patiently helped me make a choice based on what I said I was looking for, and he was spot on - the vanilla bourbon rooibos was so good! Biggest plus- open till 10 pm on a Saturday night! Biggest minus- employees are young and seem to have trouble handling a rush of customers. In Tea is cute, fun, and energetic- but maybe still trying to figure out who they are. They seem to be a cross between tea specialty store and tea bar. If I were them I would focus on the tea bar business and replace the center display with more seating. Or find another way for shoppers to not be bothersome to tea drinkers. They have a wide variety of tea, creative tea drinks, and alcohol is available! I love the staff suggestions for creativi-TEAs; it makes the selection manageable. My favorite tea place in Denver! The selection is vast, diverse, and all are delicious! Their employees know so much about tea as well so it's always a learning experience. The best ones I've had (I only drink the herbal ones) are the chamomile vanilla bean, caramel pear, midnight blue, and gummy bear. I love this place! While recently on vacation in Colorado, my dear friend and I decided to spend some time trying the offerings of In Tea. We are both tea fans and found the shop extremely enticing. Wonderful atmosphere right off the bat, with the a beautiful and unique design that is not only easy on the eyes but expertly contributes to the Eastern vibe of the establishment. The menu was extensive. I tried to think of a place with a comparably large menu in LA and couldn't. The menu is something you could really just sit and pour over for quite some time. My friend, the tea purist, ordered the Organic Earl Grey and I, the Apple Sencha. I wanted to try something completely new and the description certainly fit that requirement: "Crisp, juicy apples meet Japanese Sencha green tea to create a beautifully balanced taste of Autumn. Sip slowly and enjoy the aromatic scents of early morning apple orchard." When I ordered it the women helping me let me smell the blend right out of the jar; intoxicating. The Apple Sencha was unlike anything I had tried before. It was crisp and hearty; both light and full bodied all at once. My companions Earl Grey wasn't joking around either. It was a blend that punched you in the face with bergamot essence, and left you wanting more. If you want a re-pour after killing what's in your pot it's a mere .50 cents. The menu was so large that we new we had to come back the next day. On our second trip I got a blueberry streusel muffin and a cup of their Immortali-tea blend(Green tea, rosemary, sage, safflowers, rose petals). The Immortali-tea did not disappoint. It was complex as it was earthy and pleasant. It was a cup of comfort. The muffin, was fresh, moist, and full of flavor. I have since found out that their pastries are from a local bakery called Taste of Denmark. I'm happy to tell you that taste of Denmark makes an excellent blueberry muffin. In conclusion? Come here. The staff was warm and helpful, the tea was impressive, the atmosphere on point, and the prices are excellent. I was pleased to hear you could order their blends online since I knew I'd be wanting to revisit the experience back home. read more

After strolling through town we decided to come in for a refreshing drink. The shop itself is nicely decorated and arranged. It's a very good place to relax. My bf wanted a cold tea drink and a shop assistant gave him a few choices and let us smell the tea blends. The fragrance of these blends are really delicious. If I could, I would put little pots of the blend around my house. This review is based mainly on the drink itself. We opted for the white coconut blend (I forget the name) with sweetened condensed milk. Sounds and smells amazing, but it tasted very very bland. The drink needed more body. I'm used to drinking milk teas from the bay area and I guess that's what I was expecting. The drink really was cold tea and condensed milk. I wish the tea was more flavorful in the drink.
