We had agreed upon doing "Llumar Air-Blue 80" on the windshield & Stratos 30 on the front windows.. (highest end of tint quality they offer) Upon my arrival, i explained to Chance that i am VERY particular about having a balanced shade all around my vehicle, with the front windows matching the factory tinted rear windows.. Chance pulled out a tint-meter & the rear windows read 25% factory tint... "Llumar Stratos" offers shades in 15% or 30%... Not 25%... Meaning, my windows would be either a tad lighter or darker... My heart wasn't sold on this... Chance told me that 25% WAS available, but in the "PINNACLE" series (one step lower, & cheaper) that sounded like a B i N G O to me !!! Moral of the story, Chance did what would make the CUSTOMER HAPPY FIRST, instead of prioritizing his margins ... iF that doesn't win your business, then nothing will. Anybody talking bad on this shop or Chance is a straight GOOFY. Clean spacious air conditioned facility (chairs if u need to wait) with clean restrooms, with free bottled water... "Cleanliness is next to godliness"... Clean Facility = Clean Work... The Air-Blue 80 on the windshield is SO SO dope! its POLARiZED! its like wearing glasses without wearing glasses ... He was professional, responsive, patient with my questions and made sure I was kept informed from beginning to end. That level of communication made me feel very comfortable trusting the team with my new vehicle. The team did a great job with the Paint Protection Film (PPF) installation. I was especially impressed with how Brian handled a warranty clarification afterward. There was some initial confusion regarding the warranty term however Brian addressed it promptly, provided an updated receipt confirming the correct 12-year PPF warranty, and gave me written confirmation of their 12-year workmanship coverage for installation-related issues such as edge lifting, contamination and bubbles. I really appreciated the accountability and willingness to stand behind their work. When you're investing in protecting a new vehicle, the quality of the installation matters, but so does knowing the company will be there if you need them afterward. A few years ago, I had my windshield replaced by another shop because it was a little cheaper. They rushed the job, reused old molding, and didn't prep the surface correctly. The windshield looked fine at first, but after the first heavy rain I started noticing water leaking inside my car. Later I learned that shortcuts like poor cleaning, improper primer application, or not allowing the adhesive to cure properly can lead to leaks, wind noise, and even reduce the windshield's ability to protect you in an accident. When I went to OC Windshields, they took the time to explain the entire process. They showed me why quality urethane adhesive matters, why proper preparation is so important, and why rushing a windshield installation can create problems down the road. These guys are true pros! I brought in my 1999 Mercedes SLK to get the back and side windows…read moretinted. Of course, my luck struck and the convertible top stopped working today, which made accessing the rear window extremely difficult since it couldn't be put halfway down. To make matters harder, there are two tabs on each side that make getting into the corners almost impossible (see picture). Lino was super upfront and explained that without the top opening, it would be a tough job and he couldn't guarantee a 100% bubble-free installation. But after about three hours, it came out perfect! He pointed out a few tiny imperfections that will dry up and disappear as it cures, but reassured me that if anything is still there after a week, I can just bring it back and he'll fix it. What impressed me most is that even though the original quote assumed the top would come down to make the labor easier, he didn't charge me a dime extra for the additional effort. I highly recommend Top Tint Shop! They are super honest, friendly, and skilled at what they do. Plus, the waiting room is really comfortable, featuring a big puffy leather couch and complimentary snacks. I'll definitely be back to bring my wife's car to get the side windows tinted as well.
