I came here for maintenance of my PCOS/anxiety, and Dr. Senter got a blood panel which was really informative in helping us understand my current physiologic chemistry. She put me on some herbal formulas that really helped with my anxiety and I have finally been able to get my first period off birth control, which is a huge feat to accomplish! Shortly after I started going to Positive Touch, I was T-boned by a car and experienced some intense polytrauma to both my mental state as well as physical state, sustaining multiple fractures and needing multiple surgeries. Dr. Senter has been such a massive support system through all of this, taking care of all the pieces that have fallen in the wake of surgery and physical therapy. Most primarily of these methodologies has been the weekly Bowenwork I get with her. It's such a relaxing experience to go in weekly and have fascial muscle released in various areas of my neck, shoulders, back, and arms. I have had lots of muscle tension from painful but necessary physical therapy sessions, and these weekly treatments do wonders for me. As someone fascinated by alternative forms of medicine and interested in being a holistic health care provider myself, I have also learned a lot from Dr. Senter. She is kind, empathic, and intuitive and has amazing insight. I was able to learn a lot about Ayurvedic medicine and continue to learn every week that I get to interact with her. Overall, I really could not have predicted that this experience was going to be so meaningful in terms of my physical, mental, and spiritual health and growth/personal development. It was one of the best decisions I have made thus far since moving to Seattle to come to Positive Touch, and I don't know how I would have made as much progress as I have with regaining my range of motion and mental stamina without the support of the providers here. Diane is also such a sweetheart (she works the front desk) and I love getting to interact with her when I come in! Her bedside manner is extremely warm yet professional. She listens, and does not jump to conclusions. I immediately felt comfortable with her. She suggested we do a full blood panel since my blood was being drawn anyways, and I hadn't had one done for awhile. That turned out to be extremely helpful, because my results showed I had some low levels that needed resolving. It also explained the physical issues I'd been experiencing. She takes the whole picture into consideration and gave great solutions for any issues that came up. I would absolutely recommend seeing her for any of your health needs!

I've been participating in an intensive program with Dr. Norton to correct my spinal curves for 13 weeks, and I've felt such a wonderful improvement in my quality of life. I was afraid to try chiropractic due to an unfortunate experience I had 20 years ago with a chiropractic adjustment ( the cracking kind). I got a personal recommendation from someone I trust to see Dr. Dan at core chiropractic and wellness. The recommendation was so strong that I got past my anxiety and made an appointment. My appointment was on a Saturday morning. He listened to my background story and did an assessment of my current alignment and multiple residual issues. The treatment was very gentle. Nothing cracked and I felt comfortable the entire time... yet I could feel things changing. When I left the office that day I felt more balanced in my legs already! Over the next couple of days I could feel things shifting favorably throughout my rib cage and my neck. (all issues from the accident). What blew my mind was for the first time in eight months I had energy!!!! I never mentioned my fatigue nor expected help with it... but holy guacamole I was like my " old" self in the very best way! This, coupled with still being quite active as I age, has inevitably led to some new injuries like a slipped SI joint and external hip rotation with knee pain-both of which scared the heck out of me. However, Dr. Dan was able to fix both issues using his gentle and effective chiropractic touch. It only took one visit for each injury-although I try to visit about once a month to get adjusted. He also gives excellent aftercare advice so that the healing process continues smoothly. If you are a somewhat sedentary desk worker who is also very active once you remove yourself from the glowing screen and have back, hip, knee, or other joint pain, my advice would be to see Dr. Dan at Core Chiropractic.
