Everything is really good. Very friendly staff. I never knew it was here, it doesn't say 'Filipino' on the sign, but I found it with google search.

Been here a few times for take out. I love that this tiny restaurant is just down the street from where I work. Surprised that I don't come here often. It is hard to miss when driving on the Main Street since it's nestled in between some small businesses. I only discovered this restaurant a few years ago from a fellow Filipino friend I used to work with (even though I've been working nearby for 8 years). My most recent visit I ordered pork adobo, daing bangus and pancit palabok. Nothing like my parents cooking but it was decent. My favorite is their pork adobo as the meat was very soft and tender. It was melt in your mouth delicious. I also enjoyed their daing Bangus--- which is fried fish. I grew up eating this and watched my parents cook it in their outdoor kitchen. So every time I crave Filipino food. I usually make it a point to order Bangus. I'd cook it myself but I hate the smell of cooking oil lingering inside the house. The pancit palabok is also a good choice. Flavors were great but wished they had shrimp and green onions in it. That was the way I grew up eating it anyway. But I will say that their portions were very generous and the chicharon garnish made up for it. Every province has their own way of making dishes so I guess you can say that I'm just used to my family's cooking. Inays Kitchen is a great place to get some decent Filipino food. A little pricey albeit but this is the best thing close to home.

I'm not sure what all I ate, but it tasted good. Was just out and about with my dad and we wanted to try somewhere new. Found this little hidden gem and figured we'd try it out. We ate what they recommended and whatever it was it was good. At the end of the meal I knew I had to try their dessert, even without knowing what it was. I got some little fried banana thing and it was really yummy! I'd like to order it sometime and bring it to a party - it would be a hit! Looking forward to going back and trying more!

Looking for a Filipino restaurant while on vacation and found Inay's Kitchen. This is a very straightforward Pinoy place and has a videoke to complete the experience. We called and online it says they're open until 8pm but only open until 7pm. The 85 y/o Inay, made the most delicious crispy pork sisig and lechon kawali. The portion is good for two and prices are reasonable. If there's one reason to go back to Orlando, this would be it. The lady server was very friendly and helpful. Please try this place and let's support Inay and her kitchen.

This place is the worst Filipino reataurabt that i have ever been. The service was extremely slow. The food was yuck and inedible. I ordered their vegestable dishes and let me tell you, the mung beans was undercooked, the put chicharon and its so chewy its inedible. I feel extremely dissatisfied and extremly upset that i drove a long distance to be serve such nasty food. Their pakbet was not cooked fresh it looks like a day old. Taste was very salty. I am really rooting for this business to succeed because there are very few Filipino restaurant nearby, but this place needs to close down. Their fod is nast and insdible and it really is overpriced. Not a good value for the money.

Inays Kitchen was a nice surprise. It was such a warm and friendly atmosphere of people who want to share their food and see you enjoy it. My vegetarian husband had the vegetarian Lumpia (we called ahead for that) and vegetarian pancit. He wanted the pancit to have more punch so he put some sriracha on it The pancit is a noodle dish. It is not a Chinese noodle dish so do not expect it to taste like Chinese noodles! I had the pork menudo and pancit behon. I thought the pancit was delicious just as it was cooked and wished it was bigger because i would really like to have it as my whole meal. Many years ago we had some filipino friends. The pancit brought back such great memories. Its a dish that was at every party and was brought to my house when we had a party! We also had their Sweet Rice cupcakes which is called "cueo". Its not on the menu. And for dessert we shared the halo halo....WOW, if you have nothing else that you want there, go and try the halo halo! Its amazing and very different tasting than anything I've ever had. Next time i am not sharing my halo halo!

Tasty Filipino food at a great value, what's not to like? Protip: you can save yourself a buck or two if you order from the food line in the back. The options are slightly different than the sit-down menu. Not a huge difference in availability and price, but just FYI.

One word to sum up overall: Wow…read more We have heard a lot of recommendations for Kaya and we were hesitant to think if it can be that worthy for Filipino food. Kaya is an upscale twist of Filipino fusion food that their ingredients is based on farm to table concept. It's a house that converted to a restaurant for the cozy, intimate, casual vibes. Reservation is recommended because it can be busy! When we arrived, we were seated outdoors and Jamie was our server. She is very welcoming, friendly, with a great attitude and humor that made our dining experience at Kaya enjoyable. We ordered the following: * Bahay Kubo: probably the least thought my husband would order for a plant based dish, but it was very refreshing and delicious. We both never had beets and mulberry before so that was something new for us. * Oxtail Kare Kare: I haven't had Kare Kare before, but Kaya's dish is tasty. Their oxtail is so tender at the touch of a fork, and their sweet potato puree and sauce that goes with it was so good. * squid ink pancit adobo: First thought was knowing the typical traditional pancit, but squid ink? This is that solid dish my husband was eating away and he can't stop talking about it. It's the dish he would come back to Kaya for. * Lumpiang Shanghai: served hot with a side of sweet chili sauce. That was good as well. * Calamansi Pandan drink is so refreshing and delicious. It was perfect for a warm day. We enjoyed every dish at Kaya. We skipped on dessert because we want to save our appetite for Sampaguita as recommended by Jamie. Every plate delivered to our table was explained to us on how the dish was prepared. It's a bit on the higher pricing, but we thought it was worth the experience and look forward to come back if we are ever in Orlando again.

Unfortunately, the food was a huge disappointment. While the presentation was beautiful, it felt like the kitchen was trying too hard to make the dishes into something they're not. The portions were surprisingly small, especially considering the prices, which felt hard to justify. I went in expecting Filipino food, but what arrived seemed more focused on trendy buzzwords and fancy menu descriptions than authentic flavor. The catchphrases on the menu sounded impressive, but the food didn't deliver on what I was hoping for. I tried to be as objective as possible because of all the positive reviews I'd heard, but this just wasn't the Filipino cuisine I expected. Great service and a pleasant atmosphere can only go so far when the food is the main reason you're there.

It's a small ice cream shop located on the main strip of Colonial Drive. The bright lit sign stands out from afar. It was busy with people inside and outside of the shop. There's scoop options and sundae floats. We got the mini floats of the Halo Halo and a Mango Sticky rice. Both were so good and refreshing. We didn't think it was overly sweet for dessert. In fact, we took the team's suggestion and had vegan ube ice cream. We've tried vegan ice cream in the past and it was not good. This was actually good for vegan ice cream option. We normally share when it comes to desserts like this, but we finished our own. Recommend this dessert spot if you're in town or nearby! Seating is limited since it is a small place.

So the price hikes has been affected with the hot dishes and so forth. I am not sure about dry goods. A small kare kare which is not all oxtail meat btw is $9.50 - I think if its all oxtail charge that but if I see pcs of cubed meat then you are cheating customers. I have noticed they do not sell or cook much food on weekends any more perhaps the pricing. Sisig is $9 from the cooler section. It needed more onions when I bought it last time. This is one of the best sellers btw. I will still support De Guzman but the price increased has slowed me down going here. My go to are the chicken afritada, dinuguan, kare kare, palabok, bilo bilo, mechado and caldareta. The pineapple chicken is not bad either. The house made lumpia are not good. I prefer brand name frozen lumpias. So far they are still closed on Tuesdays until further notice.

(You know what store I'm talking about... starts with an H) Fine, but my personal observation especially based on the visit I made last week is that even though the other market is being hyped up by social media; Lotte is still a better, and more affordable market. Granted, the food court choices at the other location are better, I'd still come to Lotte when I need specific asian ingredients. It seems they're aware that theres more competition and they've not only done renovations to the store but they have a lot more specials now than before. The day we went they even had several people promoting products and giving out samples. I don't recall them ever doing that before and I think that's a great idea to boost sales in items. The parking lot is spacious and easy to navigate, which already sets the tone for a smooth, stress-free visit. Once inside, you quickly realize just how expansive this market truly is--you could easily spend an hour (or more) exploring every aisle without even noticing the time go by. What makes this market stand out is its depth and authenticity. As an Asian supermarket, it offers an extraordinary range of products that go far beyond what you'll find in standard grocery stores. The produce section alone is worth the visit--fresh, vibrant fruits and vegetables, many of which are unique or hard to find elsewhere, are beautifully displayed and constantly restocked. As you move through the aisles, you'll discover an impressive selection of: Specialty herbs, spices, and seasonings Authentic sauces and condiments from across Asia An entire world of noodles, rice varieties, and pantry staples A wide assortment of snacks, beverages, and imported goods If you're cooking Asian cuisine, you will find absolutely everything you need here--no exceptions. It's the kind of place where both home cooks and seasoned food lovers can get inspired just by walking through the aisles. Beyond groceries, Lotte Plaza Market feels more like an international marketplace. You'll find plants, beauty products, and specialty items, adding to the overall experience and making it more than just a place to shop--it's a place to explore. A helpful tip: since many items are imported, be mindful to check expiration dates on packaged goods, and keep an eye out for promotions. Some products can be on the pricier side, but there are definitely great deals if you take a moment to browse. One of the highlights--and honestly one of the main reasons I return--is the indoor food court-style dining area. There are several small eateries where you can order directly at the counter. While the setup is casual and straightforward, the food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and satisfying--perfect for a quick and delicious stop during your visit. To elevate the experience even further, the market also features a French bakery, along with beauty boutiques and a hair salon, giving it the feel of a small international plaza rather than a traditional grocery store. Overall, Lotte Plaza Market delivers on every level--selection, authenticity, and experience. Whether you're shopping for specific ingredients, discovering new products, or simply stopping in for a quick bite, it's absolutely worth the visit. Even if you're not familiar with Asian cuisine, this is the kind of place you go to explore, learn, and enjoy something different. If you haven't been yet, I highly recommend making the trip--you'll understand why the moment you walk in.
